I have to tell you that this is one of the most friendliest shops Ive been to! The gentlemen there are prompt, courteous, friendly and generous! I would recommend anyone to go there for bike repairs!

Im new to cycling and I did a lot of research, as well as traveling to different bike shops all over the state, including a few of Pedal Powers locations. Even though they werent able to price match another shops discounted price for the bike I wanted, I decided to go with them because they were so helpful and they offered a year of free service/tune ups which I think more than covers the difference in price I paid. They have quite a few locations so no matter where I end up cycling, I wont ever be too far away if I need some service done. The sale was zero pressure and they spent a ton of time just answering my questions before I ever committed to buying through them. Im very happy with my overall experience from the first time I walked into the door without a clue what my options were to the day I picked up my bike.They also offer some classes that are free to people who are part of their customer reward program which I intend to take advantage of. Some of the classes you have to pay for, but its generous of them to offer some free ones to loyal customers. I feel like by buying through them, I have a network of very capable people to help me out when I need them. Im sure there are other very helpful shops out there, but I dont see why I would feel the need to go to another place when I sort of feel like Im part of the Pedal Power community.As a newbie to the hobby, I felt completely at ease and would recommend this place to anyone!

My first experience with Pedal Power was excellent. The transferred the bike I wanted from another one of their stores in a timely manner. All the associates were very helpful and courteous. They answered all my questions and gave the bike one last check before I took it home with me. Highly recommend them!

First time visiting this shop. Awesome customer service from Alex! Went here yesterday with my girlfriend to buy cycling shoes that are Peloton-compatible. Neither of us have much experience with cycling or Peloton, but Alex couldnt have been more patient or kind. Warm, friendly, answered all of our questions, and even shared information related to how/why cycling shoes are designed differently from other shoes we assumed were ok for bikes. I would definitely recommend this store based on my experience.

Having ridden a 2008 Roubaix Expert for 13 years, it was finally time for an upgrade. I had no idea that Covid increased demand for bikes of all kinds. My LBSs in greater Boston had virtually no stock. No bikes were available to order online but Specializeds site accurately listed stores inventory by location. I found the exact bike spec and color I wanted, another Specialized Roubaix Expert w/Ultegra Di2. It was 100 miles away at Pedal Power, Vernon. I happily made the two hour trip in freak mid-April snow showers.Bill and Jordan in sales were thoroughly professional. The service team quickly readied the bike for sale and I was in an out in minutes. The process couldnt have gone smoother and the knowledgeable staff made for a pleasant buying experience.

They charged me $68 to Adjust both of my derailleurs, 3 days later they became unadjusted when I was riding at Valley falls on my Cannondale Trail 8. We decided to try somebody else and went to The bike shop In South Windsor CT, they charged me $20 to adjust both the derailleurs. I will say that they were Very Nice people. However still over priced. and for some reason my Derailleur Became unadjusted a few days after we got it back from the shop.

Friendly and helpful staff. Twice I had repairs I thought might be complicated but both times the staff person fixed it immediately, at no cost. They could have taken advantage of me but didnt. Much appreciated and I will continue to patronize their business. Highly recommended.

I love this shop. I bought my bike here two years ago and I have received the best customer service each and every time I have gone there. My bike wasnt a super expensive bike, Im not a very serious rider, but they treated me as if I was buying a top of the line bicycle anyway, answering all of my novice questions, helping me buy shoes, etc.They are offering curbside service during the health crisis, which I took advantage of this week, and it was seamless. They came to my car, in a mask, took my bike, and brought it right back to me. It was a quick fix, and they took care of it while I waited. And when I went to pay, they said no charge because it was so quick and easy. I got a phone call a day later just checking in. The service has been this good every time.

I brought my boyfriends bike to this shop to have them check why his handle bars we wobbly. The gentleman I spoke with not only helped me immensely by fixing his bars but also spoke to me as a person, getting to know me and who I am, rather than just pitching me things I didnt need just so he could make money. It turned out that there was a spacer missing in the headset of his bars and that was replaced in a timely manner. This is not the first time Ive had an awesome experience here, either. Come to think of it, I dont think Ive ever had a bad experience. I will be bringing his bike back to these guys every time from now on.

Very satisfied with their services and bikes. Have purchased my last two bikes from them. In addition, I recently needed a new tube when I discovered it was broken on the 3rd. Came in on the 6th, they ordered the replacement part to be transferred from their Willimantic location and had it fixed next day for me.

First time at Pedal power in vernon. All staff were very helpful and Bill was awesome. He really helped with getting my sons bike fixed and recommending parts and putting them on.

Absolutely FANTASTIC establishment!!! The manager was extraordinarily helpful and was able to offer so many parts and assistance even for a not so conventional bike project! The blond hair employee in the back also did an amazing job working on modifying some of the parts to make them work for what I needed! All in all, incredible experience and I would recommend them to anyone looking for any bike related needs, (also strongly recommend the toasted smore gel)!!

I didn’t purchase my Trek Lift + from Pedal Power but should have. Brett & Dean took excellent care of me when I had in-warranty battery and programming issues early on. The dealer I brought the bike from was technically challenged & failed miserably where Dean excelled. Definitely worth the drive!

Dean is one of a kind keeps my bike running smoooooth. I race a little, century rides etc. Any noise boom gone adjustments made runs like new. Al is a great choice to succeed Matt love going in and just talking nutrition equipment or sharing results of races. Monday group rides very cool.

The resident bike mechanic always takes the time to show me a trick or two, even if it might mean that I dont have to come back as often. I recently picked up biking again for the first time since I got my drivers license a few short decades ago. I went in knowing nothing and the staff at Pedal Power took the time to talk to me about everything from what to look for in a bike, the different styles and uses, helmets, bike safety, etc. I left much more knowledgeable and went back a week later to purchase a bike. Was definitely a great experience for a newcomer.

I destroyed my rear derailleur on a curb while riding the vernon rails to trails. I had started my ride in Andover and fortunately was not too far from Pedal Power. I went in for what I thought would be a minor repair for my 11 year olds new bike. One of the owners patiently explained why the repair was not so minor, and why the damage occured. I was dismayed to find that the repair was quite expensive, but the owner worked with me and gave me a great deal. I was very impressed by their professional and friendly attitude.I will be buying my bikes here from now on!

Hi there, Dan Yorgi Yorgensen here and I am with Town of Vernon Fire Department and founder of Coat & Clothes Connection. Last week during our 3rd annual coat drive, we were able to collect 150+ coats and 1 Bike...I know, a Bike at a coat drive!? I took it in none the less, and a thought popped in my head. Being a Vernon resident, I thought about reaching out to Pedal Power in Vernon, and seeing if they would donate a bicycle tune up/ cleaning on this bike, with hopes of giving it to a child, during our Toys for Tykes delivery run this December with the Fire Dept. Without hesitation the manager, said to bring it in! he Coordinated with the service manager and viola, the deal was done! I cant say enough good things about this place right now! Its great to know a local business, without hesitation, will stand up for their community and give back! Hats off to you Pedal Power! You have a friend and advocate for life!

I have done an large business with Pedal Power of Vernon for the past few years and was told today from my son of a real sad occurrence that companies like this hurt repeat customers... While riding with his friend on the trails he noticed his chain was loose, being that the shop was right nearby he stopped to see if they could loosen the 2 bolts on the rear tire, pull the wheel back and retighten the 2 bolts, this took all of 30 seconds. He was then charged $6.00!!!! what ever happened to saying to a kid...youre all set Im not looking for handouts but something so simple like this would continue a repeat customer and positive word of mouth.....instead, my next purchase will be elsewhere as others should....such a shame
