I found the sales staff to help each other to be supportive of where my point of view and my appreciation of what stuff costs. They provide multiple options on how best to allocate what I had with a down payment and took into account that I wasnt from Vernon. This was my first experience buying a new car and I wouldnt change anything. Jesse was super friendly and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. I didn’t realize that day that I was going to be converted into a lifelong Hyundai customer.The car itself is another vehicle, they all seem comparable to me.The service team at Hyundai however, specifically Mike, has made my experiences in dealing with Hyundai so exceptional that my next vehicle purchase will also be a Hyundai! I cannot possibly rave enough about this exceptional humans ability to go above and beyond for me making me feel like a valued customer! I used to jump around from mechanic shop to shop looking for the best price for my services but I no longer do that! The customer service is extremely poor. The Fixed Operations Manager Mike Weaver was extremely rude and short with me, he acted as though I was scum and didnt belong. This man should not be placed into any management roles if this is how he treats people looking to spend money at his location. Im extremely disappointed with the company as I wouldnt have anything bad to say if it wasnt for this man and the way he treats the customers. Im not asking he gets fired but I hope this spark conversation about his actions.
Was there last week in the service department for general maintenance and had the best service experience. Was greeted promptly by a friendly service rep who got my car in the shop quickly. This is also the only dealership Ive ever been too that has real coffee and enough space to comfortably sit in the service lounge.

I went in looking for a smaller SUV after my daughter was in an accident and I had to replace my car.The sales staff were great to work with. Easy to take vehicles on test drives, give you the time to think through your choices, and made financing very easy right on site. Prices were affordable and the interest rate was very appealing. Even now when I go in for a service the staff are super friendly and helpful. I was very happy with the experience of purchasing this vehicle, and with how the sales team treated me, but this review isn’t about that.From the moment I purchased the vehicle, friends and family warned me never to take it to the dealer for maintenance. There were all sorts of horror stories about being nickel & dined for everything and recommending work that didn’t need to be done and would be over charged.At 6000KM, it was time for my first maintenance, which me vehicle was kind enough to remind me about. I called Vernon Hyundai‘s service department and asked about cost and what it entailed. They explained it was really just an oil change and they would also check over everything in the vehicle and let me know if any problems. They quoted me $80, said it would be synthetic oil recommended for my vehicle. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, and knowing that the price was about right for the oil they were using, I made an appointment expecting there would also be tax.About 45 minutes after dropping it off they called to say it was just going into the car wash and I started walking back from the mall that’s 5 minutes away.The $80 included tax, and they went over everything they checked. And they did check everything. They had no recommendations of anything that needed to be done yet, but suggested my cabin filter was only at 80%, and I might consider changing it next time. I keep my new car pretty clean as it is, but could tell it had been vacuumed and surfaces wiped. As mentioned, the exterior was also washed.Long story short, I was extremely happy with my first maintenance experience and will definitely be taking it back there next time. I have nothing against the drive-through oil changes places, but they don’t/can’t check the vehicle nearly as well as Vernon Hyundai did, and for only $80 including tax I got the proper oil, a detail and car wash.

We bought an ‘09 Santa Fe with 77,000kms from a small sales lot in Kelowna and 3weeks later the check engine light went off. Our usual mechanic suggested we bring it to a dealership for more through diagnostics, and we couldn’t be happier that we brought it to Vernon Hyundai. The service team quickly figured out that it didn’t have the original engine in it and that we had been fleeced. Mike, the service manager, went above and beyond at investigating the history of the vehicle and finding the actual number of kilometres on the engine (which turned out to be almost double the odometer). Because of Mike’s support we got our money back! Don’t be like us and learn the hard way that you get what you pay for! Now with the help and kindness of Justin we found a great new vehicle for a very reasonable price. Every team member that we have met through this 4 day process has been professional and accommodating. Seriously, this dealership really cares about honesty and people in general!!

Our vehicle recently died on us while we were passing through Vernon. We ended up getting it towed to Vernon Hyundai. Although it was a stressful period for us as we needed to purchase another vehicle relatively quickly, Mike (the Service Manager) did his best to reduce our anxiety and provide us with some options without any sales pressure. We have been driving around in our new vehicle for about a month now and we are very pleased so far. Shout out also to Josh (the finance guy) for giving us a good deal on an extended warranty plan.

From the moment I walked into this dealership I felt very comfortable. Nathan showed me an awesome Elantra, I took it for a test drive and really liked it. I said I would be back the next day to buy it. I went home that evening and looked on the website again and saw another car that I liked. I felt so bad asking to try another car. Jesse helped me that day and even though they had all the paperwork ready, he was more than happy to let me try a other car. He said he wants me to be happy. Well I bought the Elantra. If you are looking to buy a vehicle go to Vernon Hyundai. Everyone there is just awesome. No pressure. They go above and beyond. I highly recommend. Look no further. You will not be disappointed.
Went in for our first visit for a simple vehicle scan. Mechanic had broken plastick engine covering and never said anything. When talked to manager about it he was not courteous and denied that anything even happened. The big guy at the service desk had no idea what he was talking about. He said that the mechanic swapped the leads from cylinder 1 to 4. And that should fix the code that came up.???? Yet the invoice stated that the coils were swapped. The place was pleasant until I stated their mistakes. Then they got short and unpleasant about everything. I wouldnt recommend them at all. If you do go there make sure you speak to the mechanic personally about your vehicle.

I Recently bought a new Hyundai Kona. Although this is not my first time buying a new Hyundai, I have to say the staff at this location was a breath of fresh air. Everyone from my salesman(Todd), the sales manager (The Beebs),the girl at the reception desk(filling in)and everyone in between were absolutely professional with a great sense of humor. They also went the extra mile to find me the trim model and colour I wanted from another dealership.Most importantly, they eliminated the tension that can often accompany a big money purchase and made sure I was leaving the dealership happy. Thanks...The last email I received stated that what you did was not right and then nothing . You admitted your mistake but didn’t fix it and went quiet. I should not still be paying for an extended warranty that you refused to acknowledge.I felt like most of your emails at the beginning were very condescending. Please give me an example of how you have tried to make this right other then telling me there is nothing you could do, or I could drive to you from Ontario.am still paying for a warranty that they refused to cover As well there was a recall on the engine they denied. I had a Hyundai that literally had a explosion on the highway and, they told me I did not have a warranty; when I did!!! .... well I almost lost my life driving down the highway and they took full advantage of my emergency. Even bait and switching my interest rates.... watch out, these lions have claws. Once I got someone to acknowledge that the warranty was valid, and what they did wasn’t right; communication stopped. It’s been months since it has come up but with covid and my doubled monthly payments, I feel I should say something publicly so others can be more prepared then me. It was a pricey mistake I have to live with but maybe I can help protect one of you

Everytime I visit Vernon Hyundai for service, I leave feeling super pleased and often surprised. The service team are always so helpful and go the extra mile. I recently needed to replace a back winter tire (damaged) that I had purchased new from this location approx 3 years before. The two back tires were replaced with similarly slightly worn tires at no charge. They replaced them while I waited (no appointment) and even vacuumed my car! Also, they offered to store the one other good back tire for me until I could come back to pick it up. I have a nice spare out of the experience. I highly recommend this location to all :)

I had these folks replace the engine in my Mitsubishi. I am not one to tout the virtues of auto dealerships (based on previous experiences) but I was completely blown away. I hadn’t bought a vehicle in 17 years so it was a bit of a daunting task for me to think about. However my salesman Justin Coulter was absolutely incredible! He was friendly, listened to all of my needs and most importantly he put me at ease and genuinely seemed to care. He has this ability to relate to his clients I feel. My test drive was one of the most fun experiences I have ever had with a salesperson. Justin has texted me several times after my purchase just to check in, which I was very impressed with.
