I have been trying to get a claim from them for 4 days and have had to be on the horn with them. I paid for them to package my tv and when it arrived it was completely shattered. They’re in person service is great but the way they’re handling this is a little ridiculous.UPDATE: The manager/claim coordinator Shayne has been wonderful with this entire situation and by far the most helpful. She got the claim through as fast as she could and has done a wonderful job. If only there were more employees in this world such as herself.

Asked associate if they receive faxs for individuals.. he said um ah uha🙄 no... didnt know his job and or the services UP s provides. Sales associate Nilmarie did an excellent job on covering for the buffoon .She deserves acknowledgment for her swift an excellent service.

Just as I entered the store yesterday witnessed older woman employee telling a customer who had just driven from Manchester UPS location that they _hadnt_ been told over the phone less than 30 minutes prior that a notary was present, as if she was the only one on site and the customer maybe got locations mixed up. The likely responsible employee emerged from the backroom just after the frustrated woman whose time and gas was wasted left.I was visiting this location only for a second time because two Amazon returns I dropped off three weeks ago showed no tracking activity. Despite my frequently doing returns (at the West Hartford Prospect Avenue location, I had gone here because its closer to my home -- never again) and knowing that the items are tracked from the moment the in-app QR code is scanned until they get to the returns center, and that this can be viewed in UPS tracking, this same (older woman) employee tried to gaslight me into thinking that once UPS accepts returns they dont show up in the system because the tracking label number encoded in the QR code (and also visible as text characters at the top of the QR code) transforms into a reference number. (Surprise: I didnt have my drop-off receipt because NEVER having had problems at the other location I foolishly thought there was no reason to save it.) Then she told me Amazon is two weeks behind, whatever that means. The package still should have been scanned by UPS at receipt and in transit. I work at an Amazon FC as well as have ordered from them for 20+ years, told her so, and tried to explain that _every_item Ive ever returned gets tracked from the store to destination and it shows in both Amazon and UPS websites/apps but was basically told I have no idea what Im talking about. Her sidekick (younger woman who likely gave the misinformation over the phone about the notary and unhelpfully interjected herself into the conversation) backed her up.Even retorting that every UPS Dropbox and location Ive ever used (besides theirs) seems to process returns differently to what they claim made no impact on them. Maybe their claims would make sense if Amazon was picking up and transporting the returns but they dont -- UPS does. So supposedly just because its going back to Amazon UPS doesnt bother to track it after you hand it over to them?Luckily Amazon made good and I didnt have to pay for nonreturned items that probably fell behind a shelf in UPS Vernons back room and are sitting there at this very moment (or maybe the woman who seemed very interested in one of the books I was returning to the point of reciting the title aloud and perusing the back cover set it and my other book return aside to look through later).Avoid this location at all costs, especially for merchandise returns you may end up liable to pay for. Ignorant workers (including the initial contact who originally accepted and apparently mishandled my returns -- there were separate issues with her leaving the register area for five minutes while I was waiting next in line) who dont know their companys processes, cant (wont) acknowledge their mistakes and will make up policies and procedures off the top of their head to save face. The only useful thing that woman did was give me a number to call Amazon so at least I was able to regain faith in what good customer service should look like. Id be ashamed to be associated with working at a store that has such a bad reputation for helping customers. Its telling that the only owner responses to complaints are years old, nothing addresses recent customer concerns.

The older blond woman who works here is always talking down to customers and is no help with her rude attitude. And if you need to print something, go to staples in the same plaza. This UPS store charges $4 to print a single piece of paper.

Dont use their Notory service. The lady gave us an attitude when we asked for the service and then refused to do it because my husband accidentally signed before we realized we needed it notorized. Could have just signed again next to it. Frustrated.

Had a package that needed a approximately 14 piece of tape to close the top, the choice presented to me was either provide my own tape (which why would I be carrying tape), buy and over priced tape gun with a undersized roll of tape on it or be ripped off paying $2.00 for the piece of tape. I have never had a ny other UPS or even the post office for that matter, charge for tape. I will not use this store again. Just another example of poor customer service practices and corporate greed.

Sent a package 9 days ago and paid for 1 day shipping. Trusted the girl to package up my item and send it because apparently we’re not allowed to do it ourselves once we enter the store. I handed her my phone with the written address and she put it in the system, telling me the package would arrive the next day. You’d think it would be a done deal at that point? My package STILL hasn’t arrived. 6 phone calls later (with them failing their promise to follow up with the situation and call back) and 2 employees messing up the address later, we’re on the phone asking for a refund. The story gets better. Now we’re being told it was 1-5 day shipping..we were told one day, but that’s fine whatever. However, it’s been NINE days and the guy on the phone says “call back later our computers that process refunds aren’t working.” We won’t hang up until this is settled. Never go to UPS in Vernon. They do not care about you or your package.

I needed to overnight a package and I provided an address to Dee, the UPS employee, to which Ive mailed many things in the past, and she said that her system was not recognizing the street address that I gave her. After further discussion and me assuring her that it was the correct address she said that she would override the system to get it mailed. I didnt have a great feeling that it was going to get there because she had to override the address, but I thanked her and left. About 5 minutes after I had left, I got a phone call and voicemail from Dee telling me that she had googled the address and noticed that the address had a south that was on the end of the address and that her system recognized that address. I called her back and she said she would print and assign a new tracking number to ensure that the package was delivered on time. I am so appreciative of her going above and beyond her duties. The package was delivered ahead of schedule and all is well. Thanks Dee!!

Awful, awful experience! I go there to send a pretty urgent package with one day shipping and I have the address stored on my phone. I hand the phone to the employee and she somehow manages to write down the wrong address on the package. Unfortunately, I dont notice until the package doesnt ship on time and I request an address change which take 5 DAYS (I paid $30 for 1 day shipping)! I call the Vernon office and request a refund and she has the nerve to refuse it to me because I didnt verify the address and she claims she put down exactly what she saw (which she didnt - the address was correct on my phone). On top of that, dealing with the 1 (800) number was one of the worst customer experiences of my life. I highly advise all of you to not even use UPS at all, if you can.

This store/drop off point is excellent. I live in Manchester and use this store for everything I ship. Its centrally located and easy to get to. Usually no lines to wait in, and the staff is pleasant.

Incredible service! I went in with two packages from amazon to return. I had the wrong label for one (it was a return to kohl’s label) and the employee walked me through cancelling my return through amazon and resubmitting it to be able to return at this location! And then one package had to be returned via usps and she sold me an envelope and offered to add it to the mail collection bin. Couldn’t have been happier with the experience and customer service!

I frequently have to swing by to ship my packages at various UPS store locations to send back my Amazon packages, but I consistently return to this location due to their excellent customer service. There is one blonde lady who works there (I cant remember her name for the life of me) who always pleasantly greets me as I enter the store and is extremely helpful with every question I throw at her. She honestly is extremely kind and seems to genuinely care about her customers. I havent had a better experience anywhere else! Would highly recommend coming back here!

I ship everyday and I was amazed when I read the negative reviews about this location- this has never been my experience with the Vernon UPS store. The employees are always courteous and helpful. Shipping is expensive- and although at times UPS my be slightly higher than USPS (not this stores fault), I am always confident that my package will be handled with much more care than than the good ole post office.

I showed up an hour before closing to make a60 pg fax to the IRS. The staff were fantastic going out of their way to stay with me until a few minutes after closing to ensure the fax went through and I had a receipt to prove my sent date. Couldnt be happier with the service.

Tape your Packages well. Would not accept my (Return drop off) unless I gave her $2 to tape the edge of my box OR Purchase tape there myself. Unacceptable customer service from the older woman / manager.

They shipped my package I didn’t have a problem with that, but one of the female employees there was sharing a pretty inappropriate personal story with another employee containing f bombs and other stuff when I was standing literally a foot away. I just think you should act a certain way when dealing with customers

I was a sending a heavy object. I was quoted a price over the phone, after giving measurements, and was happy that the price they charged me was almost exactly the same. The staff was friendly enough, and made me feel secure that my product would be wrapped well and mailed out ASAP. Good experience!

Used them for the first time to return something to Amazon. They were very busy but took my return and label, did not provide me with a receipt, and now it turns out the return never made it to Amazon and Im going to be charged for it. I will NEVER use them again; take the few extra minutes to package it up yourself and go to Staples for UPS Returns.

This is a UPS store. I printed out my shipping label, brought it to the store. The guy the verified the weight and said I was all set. In and out in under a minute. Thanks guy at the counter!

Never returning to this store again. I had to send an important envelope to India and the guy got the delivery address wrong twice! Now I do not have the option of correcting the address as the package is already shipped.I mentioned the docs were very important to the guy but yet he was too lazy to enter the right address.

I sold a pair of bike wheels to a gentleman in Wisconsin they wouldnt let me ship them Together in 2 separate boxes taped together with packing tape going to the same address said I had to split them into 2 and it would cost me an extra $30 trying to make extra money in contract year?

Tried to return a package to an auto parts remanufacturer for the core deposit. I packed the return part exactly as the new one came to me and was told that they couldnt take it because it was covered in grease. This was a blatant lie as the original part was sent to me covered in oil to prevent corrosion. My guess is the guy didnt want to do his job because I walked in a half hour before they closed.
