Called to ask if they did a B service on a 2020 GLC 300. They said yes and gave me a price, which was quite a bit lower than Mercedes Benz of Ft. Pierce. Unfortunately once the car was in the bay they came back and said by the way this service requires more than just an oil and filter change. They did give me the option of not doing what the B service called for now right then or wait and do it later. When I called the first time they should have given me a price for all the things that MB required of a B service and been done with it. Their price for the B service turned out too be about $400.00 higher than the original quote with the final bill being $675.00. It had to be done to keep the warranty in tact. I could care less about the cost These people have been in business along time and should be able to tell the customer what the price would be for a B service on a 2020 GLC 300 under warranty with less than 20k miles if no unforeseen problems occur. I might as well have taken it back to the dealership for service.
I am very impressed with Dons Import here in Vero Beach. I had been having a strange rattling noise for a few months in my Honda that I was ready to have fixed. I took my van to another local shop with the issue and came out thousands of dollars later with other needed repairs while the rattling was not addressed. So in another attempt I took my van to Dons, worked with Jaron (who was fantastic), and he diagnosed the actual problem and it fixed at minimal cost. Dons is my new go to shop for anything I need. I took my vehicle here after going to Ford because they didnt have an available appointment till 2 weeks out. So I went here hoping I can get this done fairly quick and professional but I dealt with Kevin which was not knowledgeable at all in fact I got difft qoutes from him that were conflicting. I then dealt with Dustin which turned out no better. I had a list of things to be repaired the main reason was my vacuum pump was failing causing it to loose air pressure and make a loud noise. I called and spoke to Dustin to get every excuse in the book he said he would call back but never did. My truck was hefor 8 days and I wasnt even offered a loaner vehicle. Long story Short I spent approximately $2700.00 and my vehicle is not fixed. I am very disappointed to say the least. I plan to report this business to BBB.

Contacted Dons for some work on my recently purchased Mercedes GL-450, I spoke with Rhett a service advisor and he filled me in on how they perform the A & B service requirements set forth by MB. Service completed was top notch, and they found a few additional repairs that needed to be done, including a pin hole in my radiator. Rhett worked with my service contract provider and within a few weeks the repair was completed. Office staff is very pleasant and professional, when I met with the mechanic, he was very knowledgeable about my vehicle and explained what needed to be corrected and why it needed to be done. I went to Dons to have some basic maintenance and to troubleshoot some concerns I had on my 2012 Volvo xc60. I brought my Honda here the other day for an Air Conditioning inspection. I spoke with Bill who was great to deal with. Very knowledgeable tech/service writer who I enjoyed meeting. They diagnosed the problem quickly and repairs were performed. The price was fair and my A/C is nice and cold again. I would definitely recommend.
All of a sudden the touchscreen in my Jaguar XKR went out. And I was getting multiple error codes. I stopped by Dons to see if I could get an appointment and they set me up for 8:00 the next morning! I wasnt expecting to get in that quickly. I brought the car in at 8:00 and said Id wait for it, thinking it was just a battery charge or something simple. Steve, the Service Advisor came out about an hour later and said they had to do a deeper check of the electronics because it was not the battery. He gave me a loaner and I left. I stopped in around 3:45 that afternoon and Steve told me they had it fixed and were just finishing up. Then Charlie, the mechanic came out, handed my the key and explained what they had to do to get it working again. The communication at Dons is excellent, better than Jaguar dealers I have dealt with in the past. The work is top notch, the prices reasonable and its a nice facility. If youve got a Jaguar, or for that matter, any make with an issue, check out Dons and ask for Steve and Charlie.

I have a 2007 Jag XKR convertible that needed the left quarter window regulator assembly replaced. This is a very technical and timely job. I have to admit I was amazed when I arrived at the location and saw how immaculate the shop was ! Everybody I had contact with was very knowledgeable and friendly. Their price for the job was well within the range for the task. It was finished in a day and everything works great. I recently moved to Port St Lucie and Dons is going to be my new shop for service and repair of my Jag.

You may need a good lawyer once in awhile, but you always need a good place to take your car (that wont charge you an arm and a leg). The folks at Dons are honest, they do good work, their pricing is fair, and they keep your vehicle in its happy place. I cannot recommend them enough. From regular maintenance to problem solving, to setting up a detail session (that last one is by appointment only) - they do it all and are even able to perform in-warranty maintenance for most of those new cars (saving you dealer fees). For the record, they have worked on/maintained a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500, 2012 Honda Accord, and 2016 Nissan Versa Note for my family.
Usually, having had to go through car ownership maintenance was just a nightmare for me UNTIL I was introduced to Dons a few years ago. Had a good number of services performed on my car. Scheduled an appointment, work was performed as requested and finished when promised. Several phone calls and questions fielded satisfactorily by Steve in the front office. Technician Bob met my requests. Imagine: a mechanic that quotes a fair price, performs the work on time and in line with the estimate, and returns your car to you with the unexpected bonus of a hand carwash. Total satisfaction.

I once had a tire fixed there because it was close to my work. The people were friendly and did it for free. Several months later when Im living in Vero, I take my car there to get serviced since they made such a good first impression. The initial service was $96.32 which is ridiculous since all they did was change the oil and wash my car, everything else was just inspected. The guy gave me a long list of things that needed to be done and naming off all these outrageous prices. $40 to change my windshield wipers?! I think not. Im taking that list and going to St. Lucie Battery and Tire!!
I recently took my Mercedes to Dons Import Auto Service. I was really happy with the way I was treated. They discovered the problem without running the expensive diagnostic expense which was great. All the employees are professional and nice and the shop is really organized and clean. I will be returning for my regular maintenance.

2008 BMW X5 3.0siI had just installed a trailer hitch on my BMW X5, along with the BMW trailer hitch wiring harness. As such... the new trailer hitch module in the wiring harness needed to be professionally coded. (This allows the vehicle to recognize that the trailer hitch harness is installed.)Had a fine experience with Dustin on my first visit. Office staff was pleasant and friendly to speak with. Needed my new truck tires installed in a hurry, and they got it done. They did a great job and treated my baby well. Infloor lifts so no door smashing when the tech opens your door after they drive it in. The place has a clean work area, which is a plus in my eyes. The rims were black and came back with zero rim edged scratches. Very happy! Thanks guys!

Your customer service was great but the service on my vehicle was horrible. I specifically requested to have 2 things repaired and $1700 dollars later the 2 items are still not repaired. I was and I still am very disappointed with the service I received. A light malfunction that was temporarily repaired and an oxygen sensor. Which are still not repaired to this day. I get my car and for a day Im driving around town with the top of my engine in the trunk. I call and you and you say you were just about to call me. Convenient since you had all day to notify me. That was and is by far the worst service experience I have ever had. I would not recommend your services to anyone!

I took my 2005 BMW 530i in for a drivers side airbag sensor warning and left it there so to determine the causr for the sensor failure. My advisor Chad kept me informed to progress and options for the repair. Chad was friendly, honest and very helpful so that I had all the information to make a repair decision. The car was repaired and ready as promised. Unfortunately 3 days later the sensor failed. I brought the car back in and they found that the new airbag was faulty. Dropped off my Infiniti G37S for brake work at Dons Auto. Nissan did the original break job but did not bleed brakes correctly. Brought it back to Nissan twice and still did not get it right. My neighbor recommended Dons Auto. Glad he did....they fixed the brake issue in a day. Ill always bring my Infiniti to Dons from now on..!!.
They did NOT want to service my car! I initially called up and they gave me an appointment for 2 days later, and the next day they called me to cancel the appointment, saying they could NOT service my car. When I asked why, they said their records showed that in the past I was looking for ...an inexpensive repair shop and they did NOT meet that criteria and so would not work on my car. Pretty weak, but that is the kind of people your dealing with.I might have called up for a quote in past and told them I would have the work done elsewhere because it was less expensive. I guess they felt slighted and decided to not perform any more work for me in the future. Feeling is mutual at this point.
Had brake warning notice on my BMW. Determined it was a sensor problem. Brakes were fine per Chad, a very competent and friendly individual. Don’s is the place to go for a fair and professional auto experience.

I have called these guys for three days for a quote. People keep apologizing for not giving it to me. I have called 6 times to get the quote.My car is stuck in Melbourne at the BMW dealership. I wanted to get the alternator fixed and I wanted to have it towed to Dons because I live in Vero.I just spoke to somebody today who was very offensive. He said that there was a quote in the system from 2012 and he thinks I am just playing games and using them for competitive pricing.Regarding the 2012 quote: I NEVER HAD ANYBODY DO THE WORK… I actually mentioned this on Tuesday when I spoke to Sam at Dons. I told him that there was still other work to do (which I wanted to do and never did), but that I needed my alternator done ASAP so I could drive the vehicle.I am amazed that these people are still in business with this attitude.Warning to others: do not get a quote from these guys if you are not going to get the work done. They will blacklist you.

To Andreas and Crew at Dons:There are simply not enough words to describe how grateful I am for the service you and your team provided. As a woman who has absolutely no clue what happens between turning a key and the engine starting, I am well aware that I could be an easy target for an unscrupulous auto mechanic. When the smell of gas began to emanate from my recently purchased ancient Volvo, an auto mechanic from a different shop told me it was just the way the gas tank was placed near the a/c intake vents and that I just needed a new cap/gas door and a few other tweaks to the tune of $800. 2 months later, the smell was so overpowering I was afraid to drive it and had AAA tow it to your shop. Lucky for me, the leaking gas rail did not catch on fire. Unlucky for me, due to the hazard, your team could not pre-drive the car before repairing. Within days of getting the car back, there was a new problem. I understood that since your team could not pre-drive the car you were unsure of whether the problem stemmed from another source or the work provided and of course, I had no way of proving that the problem was new. I was made aware of the costs that may be involved. After a week of being unable to locate the problem, Andreas went to a junk yard, found a car like mine, took it apart to discover that the problem was an O ring related to the new fuel rail that was incompatible with ONLY that particular year Volvo. Unbelievable as this sounds: after hours of diagnostics, different part replacements and manual labor...Andreas informed me that the car was fixed and there would be no charge as Dons would take full responsibility. As impressive and incredible as that was for me to hear - the best part was that he had taken pictures of the parts in question and explained it all to me with an enthusiasm and joy that was infectious. Instead of moaning and complaining about the problem and the costs to the company...he was excited to have found the problem and fixed it. Please know that I plan to sing the praises of Dons Import Auto every chance I get! Thank you. Thank you for your honesty. Thank you for your integrity. Thank you for being a true, hometown business in every way.
Dons Auto failed to find the real problem my car was having. Very poor communication with the sales advisor and weak customer service. Information was incorrect on invoice. None of my concerns were met. No real help or explanations. Sneaky sales tactics. 14 miscellaneous car repair recommedations. No detailed quotes toward repair costs. Held car for 2 days, $275 diagnostic bill. Car broke down a few days later. Horrific experience!

I hade a 07 Toyota prius with a bad main battery Toyota wanted to charge me over $5k to replace it I went to Dons Import they put a new battery in for a lot less with a longer warrenty. Very nice people to deal with.
