I was passing through the area when my clutch peddle stopped working, I called in with no notice, and asked if they could get me in ASAP. The receptionist was so helpful, and kind, they told me to bring it over right away to see what they could do. They had the parts In stock, and fixed the issue very quickly, and while I was waiting they even asked if I needed a ride somewhere. The environment was clean, and everyone was very professional. From when I walked in, to the time I left, I was very well taken care of, and treated like family.

The staff was friendly and upfront about my charges and how much the services were, but i paid over $900 to replace an EGR valve on my 06’ Ford Explorer. It was in the shop a total of 4 hours and the labor price was right at $500. They said it would cost $149 to inspect the car and that price would go away if they did the maintenance(which they did). However, the part was available for $129 at autozone and when they pulled up the quote to do the services, they were charging me $230 for the same part. I went ahead and let them do it just because i didn’t want to pay the $149 fee for them to just inspect my car, when i already had the code ran at autozone. The check engine light came back on within 24 hours of leaving, and felt the prices were unfair. Will not be coming back to this place.

If you’re a busy person like me, this is the place to go. I was able to get my new tires, oil change and a new air filter that another place had overlooked as well as getting my brakes checked. Turns out my brakes were fine. Great customer service and got it done the same day at a better price than Discount plus one stop. I love my new tires.

2014 Chevy with only 70,000 miles hit a deer so I knew I needed a alignment and an made appointment drove there 40 min from my house on day off an was told my appointment got canceled didn’t receive a call but went back next day sent my girlfriend an she was told it would cost 1100 dollar for a hub an joint so I took it to a different shop an was told nothing was wrong just a front end alignment was needed. So if you wanna spend a lot of money and get lied too this is the place

I took my work car in for a wheel alignment and was given a call back 1.5 hrs later and the guy informed me they’d be unable to do the wheel alignment unless I replaced some parts which would’ve been $750. He then went on to inform me that I was required to pay a 39.99 fee just because the technician checked to see if he would be able to even perform the alignment which would’ve been fine if I was told beforehand that they had that fee. Anywhere else in Victoria doesn’t charge if they’re unable to do the alignment but this place that claims they’re “not in the business of taking people’s money” has that hidden fee. I told the man up front that they needed to communicate with their customers better and let them know entirely what goes on in the alignment process rather than do the work without asking and then charging and the man just stood there in silence and didn’t say a word.

We had our back brakes replaced two weeks ago by these guys and the next day we smelled hot brakes and returned to the shop where we were told that the brake line hose was pinched and needed to be replaced. They ordered and replaced the hose. One week later at highway speed on I10, when applying the brakes, the pedal went to the floor and we had no brakes. By the grace of God, we were able to let off the gas and coast long enough to loose speed. We took exit ramp off interstate 10 onto access road and was able to pull into a large parking lot and come to a stop. We were towed to an auto shop where it was found that the brake line hose was not put on properly and all brake fluid had dripped out. We were lucky it ended well. Just a warning - know who you are trusting with your auto repair work. A sloppy mechanic could very well cost you your life.

Pretty quick service, done before the estimated time. Clean, comfortable waiting area. Didnt adjust the AC or change radio while servicing vehicle which happens just about everywhere else. Only negative, $1.50 fee to use a card.

My family and I were driving to Port A from Houston pulling a 42 ft fifth wheel. We had a slow leak in the right right tire and needed urgent help. Firestone told me they were to busy but Crossroads dropped everything to fit us in and got us back on the road in 30 minutes. They saved the day and our vacation! Great people and great service!

I will not be returning to Crossroads Tire & Automotive Service. Initially I was not going to say or do anything about the events that transpired but after some further thought I decided to share my story with hopes that the same thing does not happen others. I went there with my 2002 VW for an alignment. This was the second time I experienced over charges for repairs. The first incident was when I took my 2006 Jeep Wrangler there and over charged for installing 2 oxygen sensors. I went there with the Jeep to support a local Victoria business. After I paid for the Jeep repairs of $425 I called the Victoria Dodge Dealership for a quote on the same job including parts. Thats when I discovered that I was overcharged by over $75 at Crossroads Tire & Automotive Service. The issue with the 2002 VW Cabrio involved my request for a 4 wheel alignment. I left the vehicle at the shop and was dropped off at my house nearby by a very pleasant young man. After about 2 hours I received a call from the shop telling me that my car was ready but only to find out that the alignment was not done. I was told that they could not do the alignment because a tire in the front needed replacing. Consequently, I was handed a bill for $44.75 for an alignment that was not done with an estimate of over $240 for two new tires. The service adviser seemed more interested in selling me tires rather than doing the alignment. Later on I made an appointment at Victoria Aligning where I was told after their inspection that the VW alignment was within specifications. They did not charge me one single penny. So, once again, I will not be returning to Crossroads Tire for any other services for fear of being taken advantage of. I am a veteran and a senior citizen and I am seriously considering contacting the Better Business Bureau to report what may be an ongoing issue with this business of over charging unsuspecting customers.

I explained my concern to the technicians. They did their check, and found the problem quickly. They then removed the tire in question and repaired it, reassembled it, and reinstalled it. Check out was painless. Labor cost more than the repair, but that is expected. I respect quality labor. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

Great customer service, went in and was helped immediately

Called to get alignment done because of tire wear and was told 3 1/2 hrs later that parts in front end needing replacing, i.e. ball joints, rack and pinion,etc. Was given an estimate of around $1200. I looked at some reviews prior to making the decision to let them do the work. They worked on my vehicle for less than 5 hours to replace these parts and do alignment. Looking back at the invoice over the weekend, it’s showing charges for 8 hours of labor, not to mention the overpricing of parts. I do understand there are flat rate charges, but there’s just something off with it. Also too, now the front end is making grinding noise. Called them back late Friday and made appointment for Monday morning first thing to see why there’s a noise now, when it wasn’t making any noises prior to their repairs. It’s already an inconvenience to be charged so much and now i have to take it back to get it checked for the noise. Felt distracted and rushed because it was near closing time when we paid for the service.

First visit to get my AC recharged. They recharged and tested my system. Found some problems and called my extended warranty provider and worked out a plan. I am impressed and my SUV is much cooler.

They fixed my vehicle for $100 less than someone else quoted. But the absolute best part was they took me and my three sons home after I dropped off our car. I took my car to this garage to have my state inspection done. My car did not pass because the tint was too dark and I supposedly had several problems with my tires that basically meant they had to be replaced. This was surprising since my car has always passed inspection with no problem. I was told they have a special instrument to measure the tint that maybe where I took it before didnt have. Right, because a garage in Victoria, TX has better technology than multiple places in San Antonio. I purchased a tire warranty from the dealer when I bought my car so I took it in to the dealer in San Antonio a few days later. The dealer inspected the tires and not only did they pass the state inspection requirements, but they have a decent amount of life left in them. Ive had to have 2 tires replaced under my warranty over the 3 years Ive had this car due to road debris and Ive never had a problem so I trust the dealer. They also said my tint was legal & perfectly fine. I imagine they would not have been able to sell me the car if the tint was not legal since it came that way. I really feel that Crossroads Tire and Automotive was trying to take advantage of me & create some work for themselves. My husband had his car inspected here so I went on his recommendation since we are new to Victoria. Its frustrating to move to a place where you know absolutely nobody & be treated this way. Ill be making the 2+ hour drive to San Antonio from now on for any auto work to make sure Im treated fairly. I wouldnt recommend this garage to anybody unless you want to pay for services you dont need.

I went in for an state inspection, the staff there is courteous, professional, and the service was quick. Sure beats any service I’ve had in Victoria, hands down!Update 3/17/21 I cannot express to you how bad this place has gone downhill since the last time I use them. I went there earlier this year for an inspection sticker and I was turned away the first time because the guy that does inspection was not there he went home, turned away second time because it was too late in the afternoon and they didn’t want to do it, even though they told me when they would stop taking vehicles and I took off work to get it done, third time I was turned away because it was wet outside, not raining hadn’t rain for a long time it was just “wet outside “. I finally gave up and went somewhere else to get my inspection done. I thought I would give them another chance and get my oil change their first time I showed up I was turned away because they were shutting down and didn’t have time. Second time I showed up they said that they would do it, the next day. When I did get there they did change my oil and I asked for synthetic and that they check my tire pressure. They said they would but as soon as I got home I realized that my sticker says non-synthetic and my tire pressure light was still on. I check my tire pressure and apparently they did not check it whatsoever.

Went twice for an inspection and before going I called to make sure the inspector was available. Both times they said yes and I would get in right away. I live 5 minutes away... but when I go there the inspector was either busy with a paint job or he was out for lunch. BOTH times I called and BOTH times I said I would be there within 5 minutes. Just to be told there would be a 2 hour wait. Bad service. Bad communication!

Im an over-the-road Heavy Haul truck driver. Picked up and Victoria yesterday. After securing my load. In the wonderful Texas Heat. Which I am used to Im from South Carolina. I look on Axle 8 inside Tire and we get a flat. Brand new tires. But you pick debris up off the road. I walked into Crossroads. And was welcomed. By the staff. the guys in the garage were very helpful to me before I even walk through the door to the lobby. The ladies in the lobby AKA front desk, ask what they could do to be of assistance. I told them that I needed to get my tire patched. And they proceeded the price. Was so reasonable. Because out here on the road. Everybody is dipping into your pockets. Crossroads Tire and Automotive was very fast and professional. From the clerk to the technician everyone seemed to genuinely want to help me. The inspector pointed out things I had missed such as a nail in one trailer tire and a marker light that was out. He also showed me one of my license plate lights was flickering. Took my wifes Honda here for quite a bit of maintenance. I am happy with the quality of work. The technician spoke to me personally to make sure I got done what I wanted done. I expected it to take much longer than it did and it cost less than I budgeted for. I highly recommend this shop for any real work; AC, suspension, transmission leaks, etc. I havent had any other shop besides Brake Check treat my car so well in all of Victoria....and I have a few horror stories.
