A delightful shopping experience in todays society filled with high prices and pandemic masks. The store was clean and well presented, the customers were not as heavy as I recall pre-pandemic and the meat counter associate apparently didn’t know what parts of a cow are used for what when I asked him where a specific cut of beef was. Overall a decent shopping experience.

This is my go to Stater Bros. Its a good thing that they recently and finally updated it because its been looking like a page right out of the 1970s for the last 20 years! My only reason for not giving a solid 5 stars, sometimes they dont have enough items of what I need so I have to end up going to Walmart.

Went for German chocolate cake. Didnt have. Only individual pieces of chocolate cake with the coconut pecan frosting. That is not German chocolate cake.

You can never go wrong when you go to Staters, the discount rack always has something good and the meats are always fresh and quite pleasing to the eye. Despite the amount of customers they managed to get everybody through the lines quite quickly at this location.

Great quality items, meats and vegetables. Not enough variety on brand names and all items are a little pricey. Employees are friendly and helpful. Usually they have good deals each week and their digital deals are worth it too. The lines to pay are not normally long except holidays.

Higher prices but convenient. Thus place is just behind my house. Fruits and vegetables could be a better quality for the price you pay. The Deli and meat section are the bomb. Friendly services. Great Sushi 🍣 made fresh in front of you.

Allison in the bakery is the most helpful person i have met when it comes to getting a cake from them. the cake i ordered for my birthday party was amazing let me tell you! i have ordered cakes from other stater brothers and people but no one does it as well as she does ask for Allison you wont be disappointed.

Picked up a couple of things for dinner. Found everything I needed and got of there with no issues.

I dont like the panhandlers here but overall this is a good store. The prices can be really expensive but sometimes its worth going here over Walmart when you dont want long lines. Customer service is pretty good too and Ive had issues with food going bad before expiration and theyve always handled it for me.

Purchased food from their deli. The chicken was perfectly fried and seasoned. I was surprised how quickly the lines were moving. Loved to management assisting their staff.

Store always clean and fully stocked but customer service is not always there. 80% of the time I dont get a greeting from cashier even when I greet them with a good morning or hello.

This is by far the worst Stater Bros in the area. Meat department somehow, despite their machine saying $15 for 3 pounds of ground beef only for it to ring up as $65 for snow crab. And then the cashier was very rude! She rolled her eyes, ignored her line and took her sweet time fixing the problem!Everyone, go to Adelanto or Hesperia Stater Bros. Avoid this at all costs.

Worst starter brothers in the high desert. Bad customer service, homeless everywhere, bad crowds and the store is never stocked.

Great store, staff are nice and they try their best to open lanes as quickly as possible, even management will step up. Leaders through example, as it should be. The meat department is great also and the attitude of the employees in the facility is what sets this store apart from the rest.

I wish there was another nearby grocer, its too bad Albertsons across the street closed down. The lines and customer service here at Stater Bros. is not there greatest. It takes forever for check out and they do not have self check out which would help shorten their lines.

The parking lot does not do this location justice.This Stater Brothers is very nice, clean, and the employees are very courteous and helpful. The displays are nice and neat, everything is in appropriate stock. Its almost a home away from home, lol.The shopping center and parking lot are a whole other story. It is chaotic, people park wherever they want, they speed through, and are crazy about finding the closest parking spot.The unfortunate and down-on-their-luck individuals roam the lot and some regrettably make a mess. Dont let the shopping center keep you from visiting.

Kinda had to give Zack S. A hard time in the meat department I requested some pork spareribs individually cut I know it was a special request but it was quality service overall.

The store is always clean. Their vegan section has a plethora of items to choose from. The meat and produce are always fesh and beautiful. But what I love most about it is----how quickly and accurately the cashiers check me out. I forgot to add how inviting the food is in the deli department. I recommend the DEVILED EGG POTATO SALAD. 😋

I usually find good stuff at SBs. Im giving only 4 stars because I didnt find the packed lamb at better price. This time they only have one kind and it was a little pricey.

The Stater Bros on Bear valley was ok, but they were short staffed which made my wait longer than I anticipated. Over all it was pleasant.

This is my favorite Staters in the Victor Valley metro. Not just because its close to home, but because of easy access off of and back onto Bear Valley Road or Amethyst Road, easy to navigate parking lot, very clean store, and most of all the employees!! The employees are the best!! So friendly and helpful. Especially the cashiers. They are FAST! You go up front to check out and see a horde of people and think aw darn, this will take a while, but these cashiers mow through a crowd of customers at lightning speed! And, they are very friendly and very professional all the while. Gail T. and Tami M. you ladies rock!! I cant remember the store managers name at the moment, but hes almost always present and jumps in to work a register himself often. I worked for Kroger for 6 years in almost every function of a grocery store, and I would be proud to have these people as my coworkers in the grocery business. This not the newest or largest Stater Brothers store by far (its one of their mid-format stores) but its kind of comfortingly old fashioned with a personal touch thats rare these days. Outside you often have creepy transients passing through nosing around for whatever they can find, but Ive never seen them bother anyone. Im kind of picky and the high desert of California is still a culture shock for me (native Coloradan) but this store has my thumbs up!

My back up location. Parking sucks, but the store is usually in stock. I wish they would move across the street to the old Albertsons location. It seems like a larger box and much more open parking.

It was just about closing time and the second time I had been there that day. I saw some hashbrowns patties my son had asked me to get earlier and they were out on a pallet. I asked Johnny if he could please get me some( they were more than half way down on a wrapped 8-10 ft. Pallet) he kindly said sure just give me about 5 min! Bear Valley Stater Brothers meat department is better then Stater Brothers Market on Roy Rogers meat department you asked the meat department on Bear Valley for certain things they will do it but the one on Roy Rogers will not

Friendly checkers helpful people always on hand apprentice butchers have no supervision or knowledge of how to cut meat properly and the parking lot is a madhouse besides that Ive had nothing but good experiences shopping at stater Brothers besides a black lady taking off her mask in the produce department and spitting on meand telling me a racial slur which I decided to let go

A great store, with fair prices! There are a lot of items at fair prices. They have a good selection of fruits and vegetables. In addition, they have a good inventory of wines and beers. In addition, they have a good amount of ready-made meals.

The store is always clean. Their meats are fresh as well as their produce. They always have enough cashiers to minimize your wait in line. I also like their prices. They always have specials on different items. I have been shopping there for years and recommend it to everyone.

Super friendly and store is always clean. The lines get big and foot traffic will find you weaving around people. I wish space by the registers were more open. They have way to many last minute items and racks crowding the line area.

Good prices, decent service. Lines are often long but move rapidly most of the time. Parking lot is a bit dicey, dont leave valuables in your car and pay close attention to your surroundings.

Its okay. It could use a facelift, but most of the employees are fairly helpful & nice. They have a good meat & fish department & I love their bakery. The cakes you order are delicious with options for filling & icing. The produce department has a good variety of fruits & vegetables. They also have a nice assortment of plants & flowers. Everything is reasonably priced without needing a club card.

Stater brothers new one way entering and exiting is a fire hazard and very dangerous

I went to bearvalley and amythest location today. I was in store for 20 mins. Walked past 10 associates. When i got to register she said next time read sign on the door. I aaked her to explain. She said u need a mask. I dont have tv so did not know ca is required to wear masks as of yesterday. I realize i am in wrong. I said thank you. She still let me purchasr items. But 8 out of 10 associates not wearing masks. So how can you yell at public when yiur staff not complying.

They ripped me!! Tomorrow I m back to return what i buy!

Fair price and good products! But I try to aviod the meat here. I used to get their bacon for a long time, decided to try their carne asada meat one day, bought a few pounds, and as I unpackaged it at home to cook I found 2 dead flies in my meat. Thats pretty nasty and a lot of wasted money. Stick to bakery or pre-packaged products.
