If youre reading this because Paul Thigpen Ford has a vehicle you want then you should take my advice and definitely purchase from them! Every single person I dealt with was so nice and professional. I cant imagine a more seamless fransaction, theyre pricing was extremely fair being what the market is right now. They gave my sister in law what she needed on her trade to get her dream car. 20/10 highly recommend purchasing from them. Frank was our salesman and he was great! super polite and very patient! πŸ™ŒId also like to add they were able to deliver to her and the driver was extremely nice!

6/4/21--I took my truck to them, told them that I knew it needed tires and an alignment, and asked them to run a diagnostic test to make sure there wasnt anything else wrong. I told them I was planning to take it somewhere else to buy my tires. I told them I was checking to make sure there was nothing wrong that was covered by warranty before I let someone else work on the truck. The told me the diagnostic would cost $120, and it would be 3 days before they would get to it. Five days later at 1 pm, I called them. They initially could not find my paperwork, then told me there was nothing wrong with the truck, and recommended 4 new tires. I told them they were wrong, and that I would not put new tires on the truck without fixing it. They told me the supervisor would look at it and call me back. (If their diagnostic could not identify that the truck was out of alignment, then either they didnt do a diagnostic or they dont know what theyre doing. It was obvious that the truck needed an alignment.) He didnt call. At 4:45, I went to get my truck. I told them, I want to pay for my diagnostic, and pick up my truck. The man behind the counter asked if I wanted to get the tires. I told him that I would not be buying them from them, that I would take the truck to someone who knows what theyre doing. He told me I had to talk to the supervisor. The supervisor (who is a 66 man) walked up to me (Im a 56 female), bowed out his chest, glared down at me and barked, Yes maam? I told him who I was, that that they didnt do the job I was going to pay them for, and that I was there to pick up my truck. What followed was one of the biggest displays of incompetence, dishonesty, arrogance, intimidation, and female customer abuse that I have ever experienced. I have bought three vehicles from Paul Thigpen Ford, but I wont buy another one from there. I asked for the supervisors name. I believe they said his name was Dana.6/28/21-- I called the number you sent in the reply. It is the main number to the dealership. There is no option for customer service. or feedback. Who should I ask fo when I call? Or is there an extension number?

Brought our newly purchased vehicle in for the first oil change. As this was my first time bring a vehicle to get serviced here I was unsure of what to do. The gentleman that helped me at counter ( I did not catch his name, and now wish I would have) answered any questions I had very professional. He walked me through what services they would perform with the maintenance package we purchased with vehicle. He also went above and beyond to suggest a place and get me the phone number to a nearby custom shop to get a replacement wheel lock, as we discovered unfortunately one was not in the truck to complete the wheel rotation. I will definitely be back again to service our vehicles here. I have been to other very notable places around this area and was not impressed with the work or people. But I will definitely tell others about the awesome service we received here at Paul Thigpen Ford.

Recently bought a truck from this dealership and it was a disaster from start to finish. First negotiated and agreed on a price for the vehicle i wanted to buy before i drove two plus hours to test drive it. when i arrived they said i agreed to pay more than i actually did and gave me the run around for 4 hours before we agreed on a price. After that they gave me a loaner vehicle while some repairs were made on the truck (I was told there would be a 2-3 day turn around for it). It took 2 weeks and they told me everything was good and the repairs were completed. When i drove two hours back to get the vehicle it still needed repairs (top to bottom windshield crack and the interior was filthy)...... They told me to take the vehicle home and they would send someone to me to complete the repairs and detail it where i was so i didnt have to drive. Within the same day they called me back and told me i had to drive it back myself and have the repairs done at the dealership. They repaired the windshield finally, but the interior was disgusting and smells terrible. This dealership is horrible DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im a repeat customer....well, I was. I purchased a new Ford Taurus and was ecstatic with it and later traded it in and purchased a new Ford Fusion.... and parted with it only after the 2nd deer totaled it for me (the previous year, a deer had damaged but not totaled it). I again bought a Ford Fusion and later traded it and purchased my beloved Ford Ranger that I hope to drive for eons.I have no problem with the Sales Department. The 1 star is because of the Service department and because the owners of the company do not monitor their departments. The Service department has lied to me (a technician told me when I brought my vehicle in for my scheduled oil change that there was a recall on a part---I didnt ask-- and promised it would be taken care of that day, but at checkout, another technician told me when I asked about the recall that the PROMISED repair wasnt done). This departments employees have exhibited consistent rudeness to me. Because I lived out of town, I always called to set up oil changes... and would almost have to beg tobe worked in because I couldnt get to Vidalia until 4:00 (I am a school teacher.) Then, when I arrived and checked in, I was treated as if I had not called and made an appointment....EVERY TIME. The only reason I kept returning to the Service department was because I had purchased an extended service plan that covered oil changes (which I had to remind the service department about each time in order to avoid being charged for a prepaid service).This time, I didnt buy the extended service and believed all would go smoothly until I had to take my still new truck (around 25,000 miles) in to find out what was going on with the alignment--dropped it off on a Friday but didnt hear back from anyone and called on the following Thursday. During that phone call, the requested check was done--time stamps on printed paper and on smartphones dont lie. Add in a department not wanting to admit this lie and it all equalled one thing--Consistency in rudeness, in not performing the expected and promised service, and in exhibiting no sign of changing.There is one replacement on my vehicle that has to be done because of manufacturing error. That service appointment will be the last time I plan to be on this businesss lot. Although I hold nothing against the sales staff, I dont want to deal with the Service department and owners who promise me to look into the matter and then dont.

Dealership is either deceptive or isnt knowledgeable of certain situations. Me and my brother purchesd a vehicle from this dealership and over a month in and still cant get the car registered. Not only did we originally get laughed at for offering our original purchase price which we got anyways by one of the sales persons but they have yet to release the title to the bank. Ive reached out to the bank which we are financing through and they told me that there should be no reason that this is taking so long. Dealership keeps telling me since we have a cosigner and are dealing with two different states that they have to get it registered in a different state than the car was purchased at and is going to be used. This should never have been an issue and we were not made aware of this prior to purchase and signing. Just your average shady dealership practices at play. Anything to sell a car. Do not recommend this dealership. Save yourself possible headaches and purchase elsewhere!

I would give this dealership a zero if I could! Me and my husband just got home and wasted 3 hrs of our day. We drove 1.5 hours from Augusta to look at a Ford Escape that was exactly what I wanted. I called at 2:45 and spoke to Destinee and she checked and the vehicle was available and there. We were leaving at were scheduled to get there at 4:30. I txted her when we were 40 MINUTES AWAY she replied yes mam. So when we got there she tells us that my vehicle sold 20 mins ago! But she has three other vehicles to show me that we’re not the model I wanted. Then preceded to call me multiple times after we left. Don’t waste my time when I had money in hand! Be courteous and call when it is happening.

Was just an awesome experience! Took my truck in for a seat repair and ended up with a car wash and and oil change, they I didn’t not have to request. Service tech was just simply GREAT. When I spoke with he the day before I told him that I would need a loaner but would be in a hurry when I got there as I had another appointment. He said okay well be here at 8:00, I did not get there until 8:30 and there he was waiting on me along with the young lady that was going to transition me into my loaner. The young lady that processed the loaner was just awesome too! The whole process probably took all of five minutes. JUST WONDERFUL SERVICE ALL THE WAY ROUND!

Great experience for getting my first car from a dealership. The salesman didnt push cars that were out of my league and stayed within my monthly budget and down payment. They made it easier than I thought, especially for having 3 children with me. As my car is previously owned, the bumper slightly disconnected on the side. The salesman told me they would fix it but it was late on a Saturday so I would have to bring it back in. When I reached out the following week about it, I was told he would get back with me and I havent heard anything back for over 2 weeks now.

Seems like you should know your inventory enough that if a customer gives you an idea of vehicle and current payment you can say I have 1 or 2,even if above price point... salesman never even offered to show is a single car on the lot. If I could give this dealership zero stars I Would. I saw a car on truecars website, I liked it and called the dealership to make an appt. I got an appt for today at 9am and I have been on the road since 6:15 am to get here for 9am. I get to the dealership and the car was sold. We didnt get a courtesy call or email eventhough they had all my contact information. I know thats what they do and thats fine the car sold but its called customer service to at least reach out and let your appts know. Not all your customers are local and you should be more customer focus cause you will never have to worry about me visiting another Paul Thigpen anything. Then they want to drive me to another one of their dealership to see other vehicles. Why would I buy a car from a dealership who doesnt care about the people who are interested any their products. After taking my truck in for an oil change and electrical issue I feel I was charged way too much money and they took the better part of 2 days to complete the work that was done to my vehicle. I received a message from Paul Thigpen Ford to call them so that we could try and remedy the issues I had with the service I received at their dealership. On 3/21 I called them and after being put on hold for over 30 minutes I hung up. I called the dealership several days later to see if I could talk to someone to resolve this matter. I talked to the service manager and he was rude and did everything but call my wife and I liers. I am sorry to say but I feel this exemplifies the service I received from Paul Thigpen Ford this time. I am (was) a return customer.The customer service that my wife and I received from this dealership is some of, if not the worst we have ever experienced.I have reviewed several businesses before and this is my first negative review. I had a terrible experience with this car dealership. I would not recommend anyone purchasing a car from this dealership. I was in a terrible car accident about a month ago (11/2018) and totaled out my car. Therefore, my husband and I were in search a new car. Were both in our early 20s and this would be our first adult purchase. (We had no clue what we were doing). We came in to Paul Thigpen Ford Lincoln and described to the man what kind of car we wanted. We had found one on the lot that met our expectations... we were assured that this car was dependable, had no issues, was in perfect condition, etc. Once we purchased the car, we got it home and realized there were SEVERAL issues that were not made aware to either of us. We were taken advantage of. We called the dealership to take some action and potentially return this car (the following day, after we purchased). We explained the situation and were told that we would get a phone call back from the man that sold us the car. We never received a phone call.... we made numerous attempts to reach this man/the manager of the dealership. We eventually had to just call and say I need to speak to a manager instead of explaining our situation prior to talking with someone (Since every time we explained we got a terrible car, they simply told us that someone would return our call.. and never did). The manager basically told us that its not his problem and we waited too late to contact him and no one could do anything about it and hung up on us. Keep in mind, we called the DAY AFTER we purchased the car but never got a phone call back. Basically, were stuck with this car no matter what. We called him back, and he hung up on us again. SO extremely unprofessional and rude. We even called another Paul Thigpen dealership to try and contact Paul Thigpen himself about this situation and never received a phone call back either. Not surprised, however. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP-- not honest, unprofessional, rude, etc. Im very dissapointed in this dealership and feel very taken advantage of.

I was up front with them. Told the sales rep over the phone about my credit history and everything. Called me back and said, youre approved come on in. Mine you I live almost 2 hours away. Very friendly,honest and fast!!! I have been to other dealerships to get service and sat there most of the day with no solution to my issue. They knew what was wrong within 15 minutes of my arrival. They ordered the parts and my vehicle was fixed the next day. They also took care of some recall issues i did not even know about. Very impressed with their service department. probably purchase my next vehicle from there!!!

I love Vidalia Ford, I watched a vehicle online for months. Finally I inquired and everyone from the receptionist to the sales manager was professional. Most dealerships boost about treating their customers like family but at Vidalia Ford they mean it. I live in Statesboro where there are an abundance of dealerships but I drove an hour and would do it again for the service I received from this dealership. We told the sales representative what we were interested in and he automatically assumed it was out of our price range and took us to a cheaper truck that did not want. After we insisted that we think about it and come back later, he told my fiance to come back when he gets premission which was very rude. We will never go back there
