I had to walk out of Walmart twice because none of the self checkouts accepted cash. Only the cashier lines were available which had 6-8 people in each lane with over 50 pieces in every buggy. I had to walk out because I don’t have 45 minutes to wait in line. Can we not use cash money in America anymore? I also drove all the way across town one night and arrived 15 minutes before closing. I was turned away at the door by an employee. I told the girl it would only take me 3 minutes to grab one item but I was summarily rejected. She said they stop accepting people at 10:45 so they can close “on time” at 11:00. I called Walmart headquarters and was told they are only supposed to close the doors at the official closing time. I was told that the complaint qualified to be passed on to a higher level. Idk 🤷🏻

Staff is rude and almost impossible to find if you need help, it’s like they see you coming and run the other way. Store is dirty. Workers moving carts around for pickup will run you over and cut you off. They stock the shelves halfway and just leave pallets out. If you are lucky 1 register will be open, self checkout doesn’t take cash, after doing their job checking your groceries out, bagging it, all of a sudden they have employees around to attack you at the door to check your receipt. Half the time they don’t even ask for it just yank it out of your hand and if you don’t agree they will try an grab your buggy or arm to stop you. If they are so worried about me stealing something maybe they should have employees checking me out.

Hate when they try and force you into free labor by trying to make you bag you own stuff. And I also hate it when they ask to see your receipt. Seems like theyre accusing you of stealing. Its insulting. I wont comply and if you want to stop me, good luck with that. But thats just me. Overall, Im really beginning to loathe this place.

Pharmacy is very fast, helpful and friendly at all times.

I give 0 stars I waited for an hour and a half for my order,went inside to see why it was taking so long and no one could tell me why.The opg man was very rude

They never have anything in stock, all of the employees are rude and very it of the way to you when you ask for assistance with something, and apparently, they now are closing by 10:45 or most of the time earlier, but claim it that they stay open until 11. Vidalia Walmart has just become a disappointment within the last 2-3 years..

The staff is rarely helpful or knowledgeable, but they use to be a few years back. The store is always out of stock of many things I purchase regularly from most all departments, but that didnt use to be the case a few years back. The restocking staff are ALWAYS blocking the isles and that didnt use to be the case because they use to do all the restocking at night when the store had minimal customers!Overall, todays Wal-Mart is NOT the same Wal-Mart it use to be a few years back! And, I do NOT enjoy having to shop there anymore. I now prefer to shop at different stores when I can.

Always having to wait in such long lines is a pain. It makes no since to limit the amount of open lanes.

Always busy, which I understand. However its been that way since it was built in 2000.You would think that in 21 years they would have found a way to keep the grocery shelves from being chronically low. Also as a disabled person who at times needs to use a riding cart, its difficult to find an available one.These are the product of the same issue. They can mitigate both problems by taking advantage of simple logistics and area demographics

Its the only place we have to go that you can buy anything you could think of, therefore Im sure staying stocked is nearly impossible as well as staying sanitised. I appreciate all the Wal-Mart workers and their efforts are dualy noted. Order LED rope lights the kids wanted, of course I ordered the wrong sets (they told me on more then one occasio, of course haha) Was headed to Walmart to shop and was able to return them while I was there. No line to wait in at customer service smooth return an helpful...to be honest was my first return Ive started online thru the walmart app and completed at the store usually just mail items back lol

If they had competition such as Target, Publix ect, this place would be shut down. Customer service is hideous. The last time I was there the cashier was paying more attention to her phone. Very rude and ingenious..

Visited today (5-11-19) to pick up some house hold items and groceries.Store was well stocked, and clean. It is well lit. Staff was helpful and sped up the shopping process. I did not see any sketchy characters lurking about.I would certainly go there again if the opportunity arises. Visited again today, (7-7-19 ) and picked up some Vidalia onions.

Visit was great, got what I came for, love the brownies and found me 2 nice night gown for a little over 6 dollars my trip to WalmartI liked very much

This store is one of those that they really only need someone to stock it because you do everything yourself. You cannot get any help and locating anything and you have to check yourself out. Theres no discount for self checkout. Theres no discount for having to basically go into the back and get a large product and take it out and load it into your vehicle. They are too concerned with playing their loud music outside and trying to shop for people that want to sit outside and wait for them to bring it to them. Walmart has sure changed since Mr Wal passed away. I do everything I can to go to anywhere else than to go to Walmart. But thats just my opinion

Had to hunt employee to help with locating items I could not find. Then they didnt even know where it was.

Again no cash registers open … 20 minute line for self check out…but with the lazy employees that you have I guess that’s how it works.. Fire the lazy ones. I asked a young man employee where something was he was too busy looking at his phone ….Had to ask him three times then he just pointed ‘over that way’. And went back to his phone

The store stays pretty well stocked, but to locate an associate for help is nearly impossible. And don’t try to call them the store - you ARE wasting your time. Bad business.

I just hope all the unmasked and unvaxxed shoppers die quickly before they can infect too many others.

Do you really want to know what is going on at the pickup center outside??I dont see why it takes 2-3 people to roll a cart out with the groceries.One person is putting in the groceries in vehicle and the other two is just standing there watching and joking around.This is the fifth time after we get the message that the order is ready, I have waited over 1&1/2 hr. To receive the order.

If youve ever shopped at the Statesboro store, you will learn to appreciate a store with older, more mature associates, not college kids and millennials. I would know. I used to work at the Statesboro store while I was in college.

Shelf are always empty! There is absolutely never more than two lines opens! The employees act like they are at some sort of damn ghetto club, never willing to offer assistance. The bathrooms, well lets just say Ive seen cleaner ones at truck stops! You can seriously tell that the majority of the ines working here are societies rejects.

No diet root beer, but besides that one of the nicer Walmarts that Ive been to. Got checked out by an actual person who was friendly and did a good job. Miss that experience. Was nice to have it again. I would be willing to pay a little more at Walmart if I didnt have to check out my own groceries. Would be willing to pay even more if the cashiers were all as good as the one in Vidalia.

Long long lines as usual. Stock was low or out and thats a big issue. One major issue was the ladies restroom ... It was dark...with only ONE LIGHT working. If I hadnt had to go urgently I would have left. Come on big chain SuperCenter whats so super about it?

Walmart starts closing procedures at 6pm. Just when working people get off and need to shop.

Love the new layout of this store. Much easier to navigate and the store is always stocked full of all kinds of merchandise. Best Walmart near me. Eventhough there are others that are closer, I really enjoy going shopping at this particular location when I am able.

Since Covid has flaired up the shelves are low on products. Otherwise, its clean and the workers friendly.

In and out fast. Had exactly what I was looking for and didnt have to search hard to find it. Lady at self check outs kept the line moving to ensure someone wasnt waiting when a new self checkout was freed up.

This store is an hour from my home, close to where I work. This walmart has been upgraded and remodeled to show a more modern style and is much more organized and has more space than some of the others Ive been in. Much more options as well including some pricier brands that you would find in department stores/salons etc. Very happy with my overall shopping experience here!

Bad customer service, they dont greet customers or offer help with merchandise. Not well stocked. Not enough registers open or enough cashiers, long lines in checkout as a result.

Great place to shop, great staff but every time I’m there the music is absolutely garbage. Please for the love of god, stop the music outside because it kills the post-shopping experience. Stick to a relaxing instrumental station. God please stop the terrible music.

Things were scattered all over the store. Such as boys clothing items were in the ladies plus wear. Deli items had been eaten and the empty bags can be found anywhere in the store. These items should be paid for in the deli or they dont get it. This would eliminate prices from continually increasing. A lot of the shelves were empty. You can never find anyone to help you and theres never enough registers opened when checking out. The only management that you can find on the floor is the customer service manager. There are some good employees there but they are lacking direction and support from the stores management team. Changes from Bentonville are a must or the store needs to close.

Need to have more Cashiers and less employees standing around doing nothing!

Would give 5 stars if theyd stop playing that loud music outside . Its really annoying and distracting ... and the womens bathroom in the front is never ever clean. It is really really nasty in there and I visit the store about once every couple of weeks and the bathroom is still the same. WalMart needs to hire someone to really put a scrubbing on that bathroom

I love the location but the people that work there are hard to find when you need them. I used to work at a Walmart Supercenter and they always had extra people roaming the store to assist at a moments notice.

Over crowded no shopping carts .Had a people greeter there but did offer any assistance to try and locate for me.

I have been to tons of different Walmarts. I am pretty disappointed in the quality of produce. The untidey isles, the non stocked shelves. Then there is only 2 cashiers. No personal contact do it yourself attitude. Sad times these are.

I was able to find everything that I needed. The cashier was also friendly and fast.

No products were in correct location so Id have to search for a price! Merchandise everywhere no organization at all! Management seems to let some cut corners on stocking cause some areas are great others not at all!

Everything is there much larger than my neighborhood walmart. I enjoyed the visit.

The store says it’s their policy to wear masks to protect one another, however, they do not enforce the policy with the public or even their own employees. Do not go to this store if you wish to keep yourself safe.

Pickup was delayed by 2.5 hours and most of our produce was starting to rot.

I stood in line to get my stuff checked out for an hour and then they opened another line when theres 20 people in one line in three lines you should automatically start opening up line registers so people can get in and out that was ridiculous and the automated systems need to be using cash so people can do what they need to do I dont want to stand in line for over an hour to check out because I have $20 in my wallet and no debit card

I used to do most shopping at the Vidalia walmart. Ever since the covid-19 pandemic started, the in store experience has been in decline. In past weeks, only self checkout is normally open, and from the look of things, all stocking is done during the busiest times (4-6 PM), and there is generally no cleaning as the isles are now used to store the crates, pallets, and carts used by staff.Unfortunately, it is these same issues that caused me to switch from other local stores in years past to prefer Walmart and now have resulted in me saying goodbye to the Vidalia walmart.I personally prefer my shopping experience to not be a cluttered, dirty, and crowded mess.This review us primarily for checkout and grocery.

While they most often have everything you need, there are times when stock is out or extremely low. The most irritating thing is going on a Friday or Saturday and finding only 3 or 4 manned registers and only one side of self checkout open. Lines are backed up into the clothing department.

The store was out of most things on our list.

Clean and organized shop there for my personal products other then that the food is to expensive on the meats
