I’ve been meaning to come here, and I’m glad I waited until after the grand opening. Great service, beautifully decorated, and tasty food. Also, there’s a Mexican store right next to it, which I believe is owned by the same person/people and it has also never disappointed. I’ve been to multiple Mexican restaurants on the east coast, and this is one of the very few special ones.
The service and food was great. Unfortunately, we were charged a different price than what was stated on the menu. I called several times and finally spoke to the manager and explained that the young girls at the register were not nice at all and had bad attitudes. She did agree to refund the difference, yet when my husband went to pick up the money, a comment was made that the girls did not know how to diffuse the situation. Interesting choice of words since there was no situation to diffuse. We were willing to give them a second chance until that occurred. We will not patronize or recommend this restaurant. A shame since this is a small town and since the it has potential.
First visit to El Centenario. Friendly staff, excellent decor, great food, clean restrooms and normal prices for Mexican cuisine. What more could one desire? We will be coming back for sure to sit on the bar side.
Their service is really fast and the food is always hot. The service their is always wonderful
What a great experience! If you are looking for a Mexican Restaurant in Vidalia with a great atmosphere and delicious food, El Centenario is the place. We sat in the bar area where the big windows make it feel like you are outside. The guacamole ranchero is really satisfying with big chunks of avocado and a flavor profile that is so much better than what is typical. We cannot wait to come back for dinner.
Theyre lucky to even have one star we got there still there for 30 minutes and not get seated the woman who was ever she was behind the register wouldnt help at all she was rude then customers walking out talking about how the service was and were going as well went elsewhere do not go I do not recommend four thumbs down
Terrible service...girl at front desk is rude and and knows nothing about service.. no tips are deserved. Slow service and when asked to speak management...no one is called
Good foodGood serviceEnough TVs so you won’t miss your gameBar is beautiful
Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Toombs County, possibly anywhere. From the decor, staff, food, and drinks it was the best Mexican restaurant experience Ive ever had!!!
I am beyond thrilled to have another awesome Mexican restaurant option in our community! You must try El Centenario. Today, we tried the guacomole Ranchero and steak quesadilla - absolutely delicious. 👍🏻
I love this place, lots of delicious foods and great selection of merch.
Went in around 1, not many people there so wait time wasn’t as bad. The food though wasn’t what I thought it was going to be. Over marinated, salty, small portioned. I couldn’t even tell the chicken from the steak from it being so overly marinated with some red sauce. It just wasn’t what I expected from a meal. I felt like the plate I was served was a lunch portion, when I got charged for a dinner portion, but hey they’re the ones who bring out the food right? At least have the decency to charge what you bring to the customer & not charge them a dinner meal when you bring out a lunch sized meal. I wouldn’t come back honestly, this restaurant looks like it’s going downhill since they did they’re “grand opening” The beginning of this restaurant opening was great, but I see less people coming here & now I see why. Sorry, but I rather spend my money a few minutes down the road to Lyons & eat Mexican food there.
