I dropped my truck off on a Tuesday morning thinking I might have it by the end of the day but had made arrangements in case I didnt. Ended getting it back same day. Now my truck sounds better than before. Definitely will use again for future work.

I have a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe that needed rear brake calipers, rotors and brake pads.The area under my truck was rusted out.I originally went to another mechanic that I had used before.That mechanic was expensive on the work they had done before.The estimate They quoted me was outrageous.I did some research and found out that Powell Muffler and Brake had received great reviews.I dropped my off my truck on Monday.Donna called me back that afternoon with a quote on the repair that was required.She quoted me a price that was very reasonable.I gave her the O.K to proceed with the repair.Tuesday mid morning Donna called me to inform me that my truck was ready,I am very pleased to have found an honest and reputable repair shop that engages in professional and ethical business practices.I have found my new and permanent mechanic. Lady at the desk is very nice. Kept me up to date on my vehicle. These guys accessed what was wrong, which happened to be my radiater reservoir had a crack In it and repaired it fast.

Got my 2018 f-150 exhaust reworked. Told them what I wanted my truck to sound like they took my truck in and it came out better than expected. 100% satisfied.

Wanted 3 pipes from my headers out the rear of my 66 fairlane. A few shops I called said it would be too difficult to bend them over my rear axle, but Justin at Powell said, no problem. Had it done in a day and it looks great. The price was better than anyone I called also. Will use these guys anytime I need exhaust work.

Short story: this shop charged me $200 to install 4 new spark plugs and they installed them with twice the gap required for them to work properly. My kids were driving from Louisiana to Houston for the holidays and they had to go here for new spark plugs that crapped out on the journey. Work was completed, and they continued on their way to Houston. 30 minutes later, the same car problems hit them. Once they go to Houston, I checked the work and sure enough, this shop put plugs in with a huge gap...had to re-do the work myself. Not impressed...neither is my wallet.

Referred to by a buddy of mine, took my truck to get a custom exhaust done and turned out perfect. Everything was great and just how I wanted it. Will be back for my future vehicles.
