I have lived in Vienna for years and the evening of the Halloween Parade was the first time I have ever gone to Crepe Amour as I just wanted to get a cup of coffee for my husband and myself. When my husband and I walked in there were two baristas at the counter and we walked in without masks on and assumed we could walk in without masks as there was what appeared to be a customer at a table who was NOT wearing a mask. As soon as we opened the door one barista asked if we had masks in a bit of a hostile tone. My husband turned and looked at the customer who did not have a mask and then replied to the barista that we did not have masks so they gave us two and demanded we put them on which was fine, their store their rules. However my husband said to the barista, referring to the customer with no masks are you selective about who you require to put on a mask or how does that work and she replied in a smart a## tone with yes we decide who puts on a mask. The customer at the table seemed find humor in the situation, it was just a bit odd that one customer was not asked to have a mask on while another was not. My husband and I ordered two coffees, I just got a regular standard everyday coffee, small, and my husband got a coffee with a flavor added and the total cost was nearly $9!!!! After we walked out we began to drink our coffee and both were barely luke warm and my husbands was nearly cold. However we made the decison based on the hostile tone of the place not to return to ask for hot coffee or a refund because we feared how that conversation was going to go so we just went on with our luke warm coffee and drank it. First time I have ever been to this establishment and without a doubt the last time. Not a pleasant experience at all, did not make you feel welcomed or like you it was a place you wanted to visit again.
Decent crepe place! We got the nutter butter and the rise and shine. Masks required to enter! My only complaint is the plastic utensils provided are really hard to use, the knife was flimsy and didnt do much to help cut and eat the crepe. Good coffee!
As close to authentic crepes as I could find in the area. Fantastic menu selection and something for everyone whether it is sweet or savory you desire. For me, my go to is the Monsieur (sliced country ham, cheddar, sautéed garlic mushrooms).
Not much amour here. My experience dropping by late afternoon yesterday filled with nagging on-and-off rain and high humidity, seeking refreshment, I was greeted with indifferent, ambivalent service. The front door was blocked open indicating that CA a/c was not working which was confirmed on entering. The tiny space was largely uncomfortable.Egress is particularly difficult because the store location is at the intersection where Beulah T’s into Rt. 123. Also challenging is tight parking with limited amount of parking spaces.I ordered, was served, paid and left quickly to my comfortably air condition car with a small cup of black coffee and small serving of chocolate gelato. The coffee was okay. The gelato was journeyman level quality. The experience was not exactly the refreshment I was looking for.
The quality of food is really bad. I’ve never had a crepe that taste so bad. Hazelnut chocolate taste bad and cheap quality, strawberries are old … I would not recommend this place at all. Especially for the price they charge for a super cheap quality of products.
Terrible customer service. The lady who is working as a cashier does not even respond to my questions with words. I don’t care about the quality of food if you are not even able to respond to my questions. I understand the busyness can be challenging to handle sometimes, but you need to notify the customer about the updates as a customer service person who is working in this competitive industry. I will take my dollars to some other business who actually care.
Love the selection of sweet & savory crepes. Everything on the menu looks amazing. Small place with only a few tables so get it to go.
Very nice savory breakfast crepe. (bacon and eggs with cheese)
I went to purchase a crepe and the employee kicked me out of the restaurant because i did not have a face diaper. She refused to serve me. then she sent a customer out to verbally abuse me as i was leaving. It was disgusting. Never will I go to Crepe Amore again. the employee violated the 14th amendment. They would not get the manager for me so I could speak to them. stay away from this place! Also, i filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
Wonderful variety of crepes! My fave is the cilantro egg, my kids love the smore crepe, they even made a custom peanut butter crepe for. my dog :)
Great ice cream, excellent service. Why two stars? The crepe dough… it really needs improvements in the recipe.
The macaroons are the best! I have not had macaroons this good anywhere around here. The vanilla macaroons are by far the best! Many options for savory or sweet crepes, coffee/latte drinks, and gelato. Its small and quaint but Ive never had it be too crowded. Ive tried a few of the crepes and they are made slightly different depending on who is making them so a little more consistency would be good. I like the blue print crepe but some of the people dont put any butter on after the crepe is finished cooking and then it ends up being dry (hopefully they will fix that).
Excellent range of choices. Friendly, thoughtful staff. My wife asked for a repeat the next day. Now that’s a strong endorsement from Miss Picky!
The macaroons are disgusting. Taste freezer burned. Like they’ve been sitting in there for weeks. And have the nerve to charge 2.89 for it
I wasn’t impressed with the service and the crepe that I ordered (Cilantro and Egg) with a very little filling. I thought it was a waste of money. Not a fan.
This place is one of a kind. The crepe options are out of this world — both savory and sweet. The service is amazing. I live in Bethesda and make frequent trips here because there’s nothing like it in the area.
Crepe...the perfect mix between pancake and omelette. Crepe Amour makes both types, savory and sweet, pretty well. I’ve had the chance to visit them twice and tasted the Monsieur as well as the Strawberry Cheesecake. I must say that the strawberry cheesecake was significantly better than the monsieur, hence the 4 star review. There is definitely some room for improvement with the savory crepes but overall it’s still pretty good. I would highly recommend coming here for the sweet crepes! The staff is good as well. I had excellent service on my first visit and average service on my second. I’ll be coming back again to try the different flavors!
Amazing food had the tiramisu creme not too sweet but still super good!!
Totally worth the trip to beat the brunch crowd. Not for those looking for large dining parties looking to sit and chill while being served. But the food is on point (all of it) as are the coffee and smoothies! I got a tandoori chicken rise and shine...spicy, filling and I only needed one. Topped it off with the French Toast. If your nearby and looking for a bite...you gotta go!
Wow.. Crepes galore, tasty.!!! :) :) Visited this delicious little restaurant- id almost say Hole-In-The-Wall,-- but Gluten Sensitive/Celiac readers, becareful, because their sign has Gluten Free in bold letters implying predominantly or only GF; not true.. That said....*Very wide selection, including sweet/*Savory (yummy!)/ and coffee---*Make sure you try the ILLY brand is delicious ground.
Food is below average. It has nothing in common with French crepes. Ingredients are low quality, even strawberries are not fresh, it reminds us some defrosted type of strawberries that we have never even had before. Plus the place doesn’t have a restroom, there was nowhere to wash your hands.
Just the best place to go to. Very delicious Crêpes and online order gets done pretty quick.
Delicious and authentic crepes. We love this place!
Very mediocre crepes. I tried the margarita that had Raggu and mozzarella melted cheese. Nothing special at all. The monsieur was also terrible, overcooked and tasteless….
Good food and vegan section is great. Very overpriced, especially the vegan food. WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY EXTRA IF IM NOT GETTING SOMETHING!!!
Great variety and ambiance. Careful parking here though. Lot is small and busy.
We go here any time we are in the area. A real change of pace. Delicious and well executed. Friendly service. Clean facilities. It is small, so it can get crowded, but worth it.
Very good crepes and friendly employees. Actual place is a bit small but very organized and calming in the layout. Love it. Good spot for two friends to eat.
The menu and service were above my expectations. I absolutely liked the environment of this place. Amazing restaurant to take my family out for dinner.
Always a good experience when I go out of my way to come here. It used to be really small (6 seats or smth), but now theres a bit more (now its double give or take).Always polite and friendly.Options are good, foods delicious, coffee is good too. Very cozy. Absolutely recommend.
You want to feel like you are in France? Well then you would visit this place. Cozy french style cafe with delicious choices for crepes made fresh in front of you. It is basically French pancakes if you wanted to compare to American taste. Friendly staff and delicious choices what more could you ask for...
Great crepes and Gelato. Our favorite place to go.
Great for hand crafted coffees and crepes. They have savory and sweet options. This is a small place - so not great for a large party.
We ordered samosa, coco loco & banoffee pie crepe. It was all delicious. In samosa crepe, peas were little hard. Over all the menu has varieties. Place is clean. Even though it’s a small place but well organized.Me and my husband loved it. I recommend it to everyone.
NO...!!! ...POOR ATTEMPT AT A FRENCH CREPE...!!!We just had the Chefs Special brisket crepe and the French Toast crepe. My first bite of the brisket crepe was a mouthful of HORSERADISH (!) which made me feel like fire shot through my nostrils; my head instantly sweat. There was scant meat but a pile of semi-cooked onions. The second bite, no different. My wife had one bite and wanted no more. I ate a few more bites (since I paid for it) but wouldnt finish it.The crepe itself tasted like supermarket quality and the meat was most definitely low-grade deli meat like the kind you see in convenient store gas stations. I seriously think I could have made something of similar quality at home. This is a poor attempt at French classic. If your standards are low, you will be fine. If you are a foodie or have had the crepes in France, skip it.
We really liked the crepes here. They werent enough to warrant five stars because although the crepes were very good they didnt have the zing you look for. It is a second part to an Indian restaurant so I think there may be taste differences to loose the fifth star. They use some dining space from the Indian restaurant but overall there are few tables to sit. Seems that people more often order their Crepes to go. We ordered a mango smoothie that tasted more like a mango lassi. We waited just under 15 minutes for our order as there were four parties in front of us with several people in each party. The equipment used to set this up looked first class. The menu had ample choices in both the sweet and savory categories. The staff were friendly. Parking was limited. Overall we definitely would go back.
Love this place! Great stop less than a mile from the bike trail. Savory and sweet crepes are huge, well-priced and so tasty!
One of my favorite places in town. Regularly get breakfast and lunch here, great food and great place to hang out for a bit with some friends or family. It is kind of cramped but the great food makes up for it.
Small place with about six tables. Good selection of savory and sweet crepes and coffees. Good food, but dont go if youre in a hurry.
We found this little hole-in-the-wall place by chance. We have now been there twice on Sunday mornings. It is tiny, but outside seating helps make sure you can find a seat. They have a wide variety of crepes from the traditional sweet type, to once with creme cheese and smoked salmon, eggs and ham, or other hearty breakfast eating. The service is friendly and fast. Everyone seems to watch them make the crepes through the glass. Reasonable prices.
Great place for savory and sweet crepes! Staff are kind and courteous, ingredients are highest quality, fresh and delicious! Crepes and drinks are made before your eyes to order and counter service with a smile. Cozy seating available.
Convenience!
One of the best crepe places Ive been to
Excellent food and tasty coffee. I strongly recommend Crepe Amour for anyone looking for a quick snack and delicious coffee.
Ive eaten here several times now for breakfast/brunch and Ive enjoyed it every time. Ive had several of their savory and sweet crepes and they have all been wonderful. There is limited seating available, this being my only complaint. 6-8 seats outside and maybe another 10-12 inside is all there is.
Delicious little spot. We dropped in for a treat on Bastille Day. Even though theyre not very very French crepes, theyre delicious.I had Nutty Buddy and my husband had the Samosa. Both were terrific.
This was really really good. My wife encouraged me to try it and I was really surprised. Really hit the spot. Dont miss this place.
Always fast service and courteous service! Fast and accurate orders. Good balance of savory and sweet. Whole family loves ordering from here!
Crepes are very tasty. I will say that the meat didnt seem high quality, or it was just overcooked, but the breakfast and dessert crepes I would recommend. Basically just a coffee shop but good for a snack and split a crepe
The crepe is kind of thick but execution and taste are great. Nice selection of sweet and savory crepes. I was able to get in and back quickly so that makes it a winner for lunch.
If youve never had a crépe, this pace is probably fine. If you have, dont get excited. The wrong texture (downright dense) and the wrong flavor await. The crépes reminded me more of hot pockets than crépes. The service was also pretty poor.
Nice and definitely better than IHOP but not the best crepes in the area to my taste...
Crepes are amazingly delicious, they have such unique flavors compared to the average dessert shop. Staff is pleasant and kind and the atmosphere is very chic. Not much seating for a large party though.
Awesome crepe, food is fresh and tast great. The place is small and cozy. The crepe are large and very filling. Highly recommend
Amazing crepes, menu, and variety between plain and gourmet combinations. Tea and coffee served as well.A must stop, if you dont know what youre in the mood for.
Lovely place for breakfast or light lunch. Weekend could be hard to find a place to dine onsite because of limited seating.
I love crepe love, the options are few, but you do not need too many options when you cant go wrong. Friendly staff and great, great tasting food.
Five stars 🌟
The Bananalicious crepe was amazing, and the cappuccino was one of the best, if not the best, Ive ever had! New favorite place! So cute inside, too, and so many other things I want to try like gelato and milk shakes.
Not worth the drive
Dark Chocolate Banana smoothie is amazing!
We really loved our crepes here. Will definitely be back.
Crepes were awesome, espresso was very tasty, only issue I had was we were almost done by the time the espresso was ready
Good selection of sweet and savory crepes and Belgian waffles. Perfect for a day trip to Paris and Ghent from Vienna.
Found this place by accident and Im glad I did. The gelato was delicious! Im ready to go back to try the crepes.
What a delightful discovery! Asked Google for breakfast in Vienna VA and this was a suggestion. Sweet and savory crepe menu, espresso drinks, super staff. Everything was great about this experience. Going again whenever I get to ViennaBTW, owner is enviro-friendly. Uses compostable to-go boxes. Kudos! Its the little things ....🤗
Perhaps I was unlucky, but my crepe was thoroughly disappointing, had a hard time finishing it. Espresso machiatto was good, but the name of the restaurant is all about the crepe. I ordered their lemon sugar crepe, simple and classic combination. It appeared as if the man who made it didnt know what he was doing. Only cooked one side of the crepe and sugared the raw dough, then folded in half and added a huge amount of fresh lemon before folding again. The crepe tasted entirely of lemon... Disappointing because the batter seemed good and they used fresh lemon, the guy cooking just either didnt care or didnt know better. Either way $5 for that was robbery.I did see someone else prepare a savory crepe afterwards and she seemed to do a much better job. So maybe youll get lucky.
So good, the Carnivale with Nutella, banana and strawberries is my favorite. The savory curry crepe with potato and peas is really tasty as well.
I did like their pancake with cheese and coffee. I do recommend this place. The food is delicious.
Very nice and cozy place!
Scrumptious filing crepes! While I miss the food truck, so glad this cozy shop opened up near my house. There are over 20+ sweet and savory crepes to choose from. I keep coming back to explore the menu! The fluffy crepes are made fresh on the spot. So much fun to watch the chef! The crepes are a hearty meal or dessert - perfect for sharing!Farmer Joe crepe (5/5) - A fun way to get your dose of veggies with arugula, roasted red peppers, sauteed garlic mushrooms, tomatoes and pesto that hit the spot! Definitely add mozzarella cheese that glues the veggies and pesto together. The crepe was so filling that I saved some for dinner.Breakfast Rise & Shine crepe (5/5) - The eggs, cheddar cheese, arugula, sauteed garlic mushrooms is also quite tasty! Request for pesto on top, it packs a punch!Dr. Seuss sliced ham and cheese crepe (3/5) - My hubby wasnt a big fan of the processed meat, it wasnt the cured ham that he was expecting.Tiramisu crepe (5/5) - The fully loaded crepe with mascarpone, cane sugar, Amaretti biscuits, almond liqueur, espresso powder, cocoa powder truly delivered and the almond liquor seals the deal! The non-alcoholic version isnt as good. I didnt realize the crepe had liquor until the chef made a joke about driving home, and when I revealed to him that Im pregnant he kindly made me a new one without liquor and I gave my hubby the alcoholic one. I tried a small bite of his (please dont judge!) and it tasted sooo much better. Looking forward to coming back for the alcoholic version after delivery.Fraise Amour crepe (4/5) - Decadent crepe loaded with strawberries and nutella. Fun way to start the day with dessert!Smoothies (1/5) - The syrupy sweet and sugary smoothies arent very fresh or healthy and the only thing I wouldnt recommend on the menu. Get the shakes instead with gelato!Dont forget to sign up for the Rewards program ($5 off out of $50 spent). I didnt see the little sign next to the register until the 2nd visit and glad that I signed up for it. Its a bummer that they dont retroactively give you points for previous visits! The mom & pop restaurant has a great homey and cozy vibe. The chef had a warm smile on his face and kindly made me a non-alcoholic version of the Tiramisu crepe while the cashier kindly offered to swap out the smoothie for something else (my hubby got a bottle of water). The restaurant is cozy with a few small tables inside and outside of the storefront. While the tables of 2 inside are close enough that you can push them together to make a table of 4, the smaller tables outside have seating for only 2. I wouldnt recommend large groups here.Excited to come back to explore other fun sweet and savory crepes on the menu!
Try the Bombay Dhaba. You will not be disappointed. Kinda small space, wait times can be 20+ minutes, but the food is worth it. Lots of good sweet crepes, too.
Best kept secret in Vienna with delicious savory crepes, plus gluten free options
I tried the bacon, egg, and cheese crepe and really enjoyed it. I saw someone getting the strawberry and chocolate one and it looked excellent.
Yummy. So glad I discovered this place. There are not many quick-food places to get dessert crepes. They actually make their Crepe Suzettes with Grand Marnier. I dont believe they have savory crepes, since this place is not a full restaurant.
I take my kids every weekend and the love the coco loco and the marshmallow crepes. Its a small place, but great service ! I love that theyre on uber eats too.
We drove from Frederick, MD, around rush hour traffic just for our favorite delectable crepes at Crepe Amour! Definitely in love with the classic strawberry- banana-nutella combo!
Love this place, crepes are huge and amazing, gelato choices small but tasty. Friendly and clean, check it out for something different.
Good food, great flavor. Crepes, smoothies, milkshakes and coffee! Great staff and friendly service too!
Great place
The crepes are great but it is supremely slow considering how quick crepes should be. Also frequently so crowded you cant even find indoor seating.
Ok, so I though the monsieur was too salty. I was between that and the egg one with ham and cheese and I wish I had gotten the other. I also did not care for the caramel salted pretzel one either, because the pretzels were sort of soft and the caramel was too much. The Bombay dhaba was pretty good, but compared to the others it isnt as balanced. I loved the Highlander, the banofee, and all the other sweet ones I have tried. Five stars still stands, since the ones I have had that were good were just so good :)
Awesome food and reasonable price. Ive never had a problem getting a seat even though there arent many.
Great food, both savory and sweet crepes, but very little seating for very many customers.
Love this place. Have been quite a few times.
