Worst experience with this dealership. Be carful dealing with finance as they run your credit several times without getting your permission. Always apply online for car loan before making purchase. Then Service department are very careless. Today I Left my car for service with Mauricio. He was unprofessional and rude. However he took my car without appointment. I requested a shuttle to drop me at Tysons mall. Received a text at 15:12pm said my car is ready. Tried calling the number they provide me several times but no answer. Waited at same exact point they dropped me. No on show up. Called service dept. waited 10 minutes until somebody answered said he’ll send the shuttle. Waited 30 minutes. Then I called again. Requested a ride. Of course after long questions they said they’ll send the shuttle. After an other 15 minutes they called me said. Where are you. “It’s really funny and bizarre service’ Finally now it’s 5:05 pm and exactly after 2 hours waiting. I am in side the shuttle getting my ride back to pick up my car.Driver who picked me up was polite person his name is Ethan. He kept apologizing for the inconvenience I faced in wasting my time. From the beginning to the end dealing with this dealership was horrible.

Last week I was involved in an accident that totaled my car. I basically had 7 days of a free rental car to make a snap decision on a tight budget on a car that will be with me for quite a few years. I dealt with Shaun Hall and I was showed a couple of vehicles that fit my needs and my budget. I left the dealership to continue my search.Shaun followed up with a couple calls, not high pressure sale calls but just wanted to know how the search was going. 5 days after the accident I had narrowed the search down to three cars, one of which was at Rosenthal Nissan. I called Shaun and explained that it was in the final stages of pulling the trigger on a car.Shaun and his manager Gus sat down with me and we came up with a deal that was what I needed to make me go home happy. There was no amount of duplicity, nor did I ever feel that I was being taken advantage of or that the vehicle was misrepresented. That being said, I knew exactly what I wanted and how much I was willing to pay the vehicle. Had I read the reviews on Google prior to the car search I may have stayed away from Rosenthal. Im glad I made the purchase I made, and I hope that any continued dealing I have with Rosenthal will be just a great as the purchase. Thanks Shaun and Gus

If I could provide a negative rating I would. This dealer is not what it was like 10+ years ago when the service department was actually helpful, experienced, and executed flawless work. I have recently relocated back to the area and I have been taking my car here for the past 3 months and it is a guarantee that SOMETHING IS ALWAYS WRONG. They change the inner cabin filter- they cant put the panels back properly. I take it in for a recall- again, paneling and assembly an issue. Rattling noise and I have been back and forth for nearly 2 months now to no avail. Service tech seems to think it is appropriate to take it out on me and threaten to charge me for the loaner when Im the CUSTOMER and I have yet to receive quality work from this dealer. Never had this issue at other dealers in Miami nor did I have to deal with the incompetence of a staff that as a customer you bring in your car to trust them to do the work and do it right YET you come out getting blamed for it. DO NOT PURCHASE OR BRING YOUR CAR FOR SERVICE HERE- YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF AND DEAL WITH A NEVER ENDING HEADACHE! Theres much to be said about the technicians and the service department--even the GM for service, fell of the grid without resolving my issue and thinks a car detailing sugarcoats it all. OPEN YOUR EYES FOLKS, its a business and businesses dont make it unless you have CUSTOMERS. Now you have 4 less customers!!!

BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS LOCATION! Staffs are not honest and attempted to cheat their customers. If you happen to shop there for a car, make sure you negotiate and verify every BIT of the information before you sign it. The whole team there was a joke, and they wanted to cheat us. If they offer you life time State Inspection, and 2 years of oil change, then please do the math. All of this for 10 years together worth less than $500. So it is better off not to take this deal, and bargain for even a better price. Dont go there to get your car service either, you will be disappointed. Please read the bad experience from others who rated before me. You will have a really bad experience if you do business with them. I can guarantee you this!

Ive been to a dozen or so dealers in the past few weeks, this is easily the worst. First if you want to buy a used car they immediately take you to this dingy back room like you are a lesser. The salesman I met was nice, to a point. I value courtesy a lot, I expect you to want to sell me a car, hold doors, offer me water, etc. They did that about 50% of the time. I knew a lot about the car I wanted and wanted only that car. He didnt try to sell me anything else when I looked at something else as if I couldnt afford it or it was above me. He answered none of questions or concerns about the car I wanted, then went to test drive and the battery was dead. They tried to tell me, a car enthusiast, that this just happens when its cold and no one drives it but then stated someone drove it 2 days ago and it was mid to upper 50s all week. To top all of this off they low balled me on my car (half of blue book value to a dealer) then refused to negotiate a single dollar off of their over priced car or any value on my trade in. They appeared to get upset when I was insulted by the price, very unprofessional. ANother point, I was looking at manual cars and stated I was not excellent at driving them yet, while on the test drive I stalled and the first time it happened the salesman said we have another automatic car on the lot that would be easier for you even though I came in saying I only wanted a manual. If you do anything do not go here. Even if they call me back with an amazing offer I will not go back just to avoid dealing with them again.

I took my Nissan Rogue to Priority Nissan Collision because I did not want other Techs putting hands on my car because it made sense to take it to the manufacture dealership. They surely fix the side that was hit but they also did some damage to my car. I am not sure if I am returning to A Nissan Dealership again. I was thinking to buy their new Electric car but I am considering taking my business somewhere else. I was just expecting high quality service but these techs are not trained well enough.

Sales Associate Kareem was nice but everything else was very unpleasant. I told them very politely that I was no longer in the market for Nissan or Mazda but they would not respect that. My last call with one of the sales managers was simply the worst. He tried arguing with me then hung up on me at the end. Car buying experience does not need to be unpleasant so avoid this dealer and enjoy your car shopping.

Took my wife here to purchase a new Nissan and was completely put off by the sales tactics by the sales manager. First off, we researched their available vehicles online before our visit and so we arrived with a certain price in mind. However, when discussing the price with the sales rep we were quickly informed the advertised online price was to get customers in the door and not the actual price which was nearly 4k more. When I balked I was then told that only if a person qualified for 3 separate promotions they would get the advertised price. The promotions were 1. Active or retired military, 2. Recent college graduate (last 6 months), and 3. An employee of a Nissan partner corporation. While I think qualifying for one or even two of these is achievable, its highly unlikely most customers will qualify for all three to receive the online price. I begrudgingly accepted this farce and attempted to negotiate the 4k increase in price downward by a mere $1,500 (still more than the advertised price) the sales manager told me he couldnt reduce the price as this was a one of a kind car. A Nissan Sentra SR one of a kind? Really??? Mind you Im a CASH customer........ Needless to say I walked out on this foolishness, headed to Nissan in Chantilly and purchased same car with more features, at the price I wanted, CASH money! I DO NOT recommend this dealership as they are dishonest in just about every way.......

Stopped by this dealership on a whim while I was visiting from out of state. I appreciated the time they took with me even though they knew I was a long-shot buyer. No heavy sales tactics, mostly just casual discussion about what I was looking for in a vehicle. The price they offered me was substantially lower (several thousand) than what the dealership in my own state was prepared to sell for, and I seriously considered buying and shipping. As it turns out, my local dealer flat out lied about everything and I just feel like I missed out on a deal. In hind-sight, I would have saved money and had a nice vehicle if Id purchased from Rosenthal and shipped. If I lived in the area, I likely would go to this dealership for another vehicle.

If you want to work through the sales process the way old school car dealerships worked, go here. I was in the market for a new car, had been negotiating with other dealers, was told over the phone that they would match the price and then tried to change the story once I was in the dealership. As an informed consumer it was very easy for me to walk out and take my business elsewhere.

As a Business Trainer for a Fortune 500 Company, I train associates and managers on how to maintain customers, how to excel in customer service, and how to treat every customer who calls or walks through our front door with outstanding customer service. From the moment I arrived at Rosenthal Nissan Mazda I was immediately discriminated against with a very abrupt question from sales representative, Muhammad, and he asked me as soon as I sat down in his office Whats your credit score like? I completely understand that credit and your score has a main factor in knowing if youll be financed in-house or through a lender, but the introduction should have been Welcome To Rosenthal Mazda, Im Muhammad. Are you looking for any particular car/model, etc. today? I wanted to get up and walk away at that very moment because I knew that my experience with this sales rep wasnt going to go well. He wanted to run my credit before showing me any cars on the lot and I found this to also be discriminating.I had to inquire if I could test drive the Mazda 3 S and finally Muhammad allowed me to test drive the vehicle while he rode along with me. He was so bossy and constantly saying Turn right here! Go left! Go Faster- while in a 25 mile per hour street. This was not what I had expected from a test drive; for I saw other people there who took a car out for a test drive and no one had to accompany them. Upon our return to the dealership Muhammad was informed by the Finance Manager that no bank would finance me and the only thing that they could do for me is put me into a Mazda 2 through their financing program. I thought to myself how could that be when my bank had just approved me for Financing the day before? I asked Muhammad if he could have the finance manager contact my bank, but he continued to say Look, no bank approved you. Theres nothing else I can do for you. I told him that I refused to purchase a Mazda 2 S when I was just approved by my bank 1 day before for a Mazda 3 S vehicle. He put his hands up and said Listen, theres nothing else we can do for you so just take the Mazda S2, make payments on time, and come back in 6 months and trade it in for the Mazda S3. I politely asked him where the waiting area was and he showed me. I called another Mazda Dealership in the area who picked me up from this horrible dealership.Within 2 hours of being at the other Mazda Dealership in which I was provided with exceptional customer service, I drove off of the lot with the car I wanted, a Mazda 3 S.I would never recommend anyone to this dealership if youre a first time car buyer like myself and/or your credit score is not in the high 600s or above. I understand that they are used to catering to customers with high credit sores because its in Tysons Corner and theres money in that area, but they should treat everyone with respect no matter what your credit score is. Theres a right way to tell someone No and Muhammads way was an unpleasant one. The Finance Manager, however, was very nice and I regret not obtaining his name, but the sales representative, Muhummad, was very nasty and abrupt. Please note that I am writing this review based off of my experience with Muhammad and can not speak for other sales reps at this location; Im sure theyre all not like Muhammad, however 1 employee can impact a customers decision in conducting future business with that company and based off of that 1 experience I would never return or refer any of my friends or co-workers.

Had an emergency repair on a Saturday. Service dept. gets huge kudos for turning around a clutch repair in one day, but did charge for 6-hours when they only had the car for 4.5 hours in total. When I challenged the charges, the assistant service manager (who seemed well-practiced in fielding consumer objections) cited the typical dealership excuses including a claim that many service technicians worked on the vehicle. In short, for my repair, Rosenthal Nissan Mazda delivered the kind of experience that makes consumers turn to better priced, equally good service from independent auto repair companies, something I would have done in different circumstances.

Although I did get an awesome new Nissan out of the deal, the buying experience was far less than satisfactory. I feel that at least one consumer protection law was violated during my transaction at Rosenthal Nissan. I was pressured into buying an extended warranty that I saw little need for and ended up paying much more than I expected from what was originally explained to me by the finance manager. It appears that they charged me for an undercoating that was never discussed or provided to me. Also they showed me the car after dusk in a dimly light area of their parking lot and when I noticed blemishes in the new paint and a cracked spoiler after the purchase the sales manager laughed at me when I tried to get them to correct the issues. Overall I was financed for an additional $2000 more than the total agreed to price and I was never fully refunded even after threatening them with legal action. Buy your new Nissan or Mazda from another dealer who is familiar with the law!

I strongly advise against this dealer. I bought a 2014 Mazda 3 S Touring model. They matched my True Car pricing. However, later I found that the technology package was outdated and it did not include the radar cruise control and forward obstruction warning. It appeared that the car was an old version and the tech package at that time did not include these features. I was never aware of this. Initially I test drove a white car (and I believe it had these features, and then I changed my mind to a red car, which missed these features). I was asking for a color change and lost couple of options.Salesman was very eager to close the deal and did not go over the details of missing features. He said it has everything. When I discovered that it was not having these features, I went to dealership and they talked to me in a very dismissive and interrogative tone, saying it was my responsibility to go thru the window sticker and understand what I was getting. Not at all customer-centric.I am not going use this dealer for any future services. So disappointed.

I needed to return a lease I purchased for my son and they offered me a deal on a 2015 Altima. No doubt, great rate but as part of the deal, they offered to make my final lease payment. After receiving a bill from Nissan, they told me to bring the bill and they would pay it...I had nothing to worry. Nearly 60 days later the bill wasnt paid and you know the effect on your credit report. I suggest you get EVERYTHING in writing then follow-up, follow-up and validate! The overall general appearance of the vehicle was disgraceful. When I lifted up the hood, there were leaves covering the engine compartment. I had to pick the leaves out of the Turbo intake. The tires were low. The vehicle was $2,000 overpriced. And on top of that, the salesman knew absolutely nothing about the vehicle. I had contacted the dealership via email a couple days before I came to look at the Forester. I would think that the staff would of taken the initiative to peruse the vehicle to ensure it was inspection ready for a customer. I understand the vehicle is a Subaru sitting at a Nissan dealership, but your not gonna make a sale if your salesman knows NOTHING about the product. And especially not if the vehicle has to get jump started. I hope the salesman was taking notes when I was schooling him about the vehicle. And maybe he even picked up on my facetious remarks about the general condition of the vehicle.

It so turns that the prices that the dealer announces on the internet are significantly lower than the ones they offer you once you are there. Also, the salesmen do not seem to have any ethics. To my surprise, the dealer asked me to sign a piece of paper saying that I would commit to buy the car if the price was reasonable, before he would talk to his manager to understand which price he should quote for me. For my car, that would be $627 for the first 2 months of my loan. I planned to pay it off after that. The Finance person even went as far as to say that would be the equivalent of a $1,245 cost reduction to my car. When I received the first invoice from Mazda financing, it said that they were only paying exactly $500 for each of the 1st 2 months, leaving me with the balance of $ 127 for each of the first 2 months or $254. No mention when I was at the dealer about this limitation. This is a terrible dealership run by unethical, unprofessional and dishonest people.I and my brother purchased a 2015 Mazda 3, on June 18th, 2015. The sales consultant was Ms. Sherry Wood. It was our first visit to the dealership and despite making our decision within 40-45 minutes to purchase the car we were subjected to rude behavior by the sales consultant. Moreover, in spite of having a specific price confirmed, the finance guy tried to scam us by increasing the number of months to be paid under the installment (in fine prints) thus increasing the total amount than what was mutually discussed. Thankfully we noticed that before signing and had to struggle hard to have them making the corrections.Later, upon receiving the customer experience survey from Mazda USA my brother had provided his comments anonymously about my experience dealing with the sales consultant Ms. Sherry Wood.Mazda USA should have protected the reviewer’s anonymity as well as possibility of any retaliation.Shockingly Ms. Wood saw the comments somehow and contacted me from her personal cell phone to retaliate on my survey comments. She called me during my work hours and despite asking her to contact me later as I was very busy, she went on belittling me over the phone with a very aggressive tone. She went to the extent of telling me that I am new to the country and hence has no manners to speak and do not know how to communicate with people. She even made a racist comment and accused me of having problems with people of Caucasian/White origin since I reported about her disgraceful behavior in the customer survey which I and my brother faced. She was not allowing me to speak and shocked me further when she went on shouting at me, accusing me of lying in the customer survey. Both I and my brother are USA-grad school educated working professionals. My brother has been living in the USA for 13 years, purchased multiple brand new cars (Hondas and BMW) prior to this but never came across a situation like this before.I reported about the harassment caused by Ms. Sherry Wood to the Rosenthal Mazda management and even contacted the general manager of Rosenthal Mazda, William Gray a number of times. However, even after 2 weeks, the dealership/William Gray (GM) did not take appropriate steps and first downplayed then totally ignored the incident. Finally I reported the issue to Mazda USA, VA Attorney General and Better Business Bureau.I’d recommend others to save themselves from the trouble and wrongdoings by Rosenthal Nissan Mazda of Tysons Corner, VA and the people associated to it. Try any other Mazda dealership in the VA/DC/MD area!

I bought a 2008 Altima from these guys Ramon was the sales person and Shane the manager, they are excellent. We negotiated a good price before I got there, the condition of the car was exactly as described. The day after I bought it I realized there was a problem with the car and that is the clutch was slipping when I went back to the dealer they took full responsibility, they offered to take the car back or help with the repairs since I really like the car I opted to split the cost of the repair with them. When I took the car in to the service department I dealt with Luis Pena the total repair bill was $1200 of which I paid $600 the $1200 was an extremely competitive price, the service guys are extremely professional they couldnt finish my car on time so they gave me a rental. To be honest every step of the way these guys blew me away with their service, integrity and professionalism. I would highly recommend them and would buy from them again in a heartbeat.Ive also visited their parts department several times for parts for my 2003 Maxima and dealt with Machad and Dave both of them give me great deals, always get the right parts, and get them in time.

I echo the experience that was had by other people that felt they were scammed. I love my new Mazda but unfortunately the experience I had when buying it and selling them my used car was less than forthright and not anywhere close to honest. They bought my trade in for around $1,000 and then tried selling it on their used car lot 2 weeks later for $13,990 after they told me it was worthless and they were unwilling to buy it themselves. When confronted they claimed they sunk multiple thousands of dollars into it in order to sell it but were unable to provide any evidence of such expenses. When questioned again they told me the car had a major breaking issues and they ended up having to wholesale it, but again wouldnt provide anything to prove such a fact. For all I know they most likely sold the car for a huge profit and were just trying to get me to go away. The whole situation left me feeling scammed and like I could never trust the dealership. Mazdas are great cars but dont buy one from these people. Trust me, youll regret it.

I took my car there for what I thought would be a simple safety inspection and recieved horrible customer service. I ended up being there for almost 3 hrs when I was told by Jose Cordova, on the purple team, that it would take an hour. The service manager wasnt helpful in the situation at all. He was disinterested in the questions I had for him and just plain rude.Needless to say I would NOT reccomend anyone purchasing their car or getting service done at this establishment.

I went to Rosenthal Nissan on 14th June, 2015 to test drive the new Nissan Maxima, 2015. I was treated rude and was even denied looking at the car, by this sales guy Muhammed. Hi words you shouldnt be looking at the car if you are not buying it. What an a**h**e! No wonder why they have so poor ratings!!!

I have a Acura TL that I purchased from my brother who bought it from Gaithersburg Mazda. When I took into service they made me feel welcome on my first visit to the dealership, which was for my Factory Maintenance Plan Oil Change. Every subsequent visit for various standard maintenance procedures or recall checks have always left me feeling satisfied, respected and treated with care and patience. Now my brother took advantage of the cash for clunkers program and came back raving about the CS and organization of this dealership. We are both supremely happy with Rosenthal Gaithersburg Acura.

Worse Service Ever!!! I should have checked the review before I purchased my car there. As I am reading all the reviews now, I just realize so many people have complaint how bad services this Nissan/Mazda place. ALL staff there has lot of issues, either not being well-trained or tell lies to customers. Its not a trust worthy place. Avoid going there. NEVER should do any business with them. You will regret like me.

What a waste of time. My husband spent two hours negotiating a price and when we came back the next day to make the deal, they wouldnt honor the price. These guys are scumbags. They drag it out and waste your time and do not honor their word.
