If I could give less than 1 star I would!!! The doctor I have no review on. That was fun.I ordered contacts and I have waited weeks for them to get in, only to have partial order. when I tried to arrange pickup their hours are so limited!! They do not take payment over the phone. So I have to go in and pay for them, but they wont give me my contacts because a certain someone needs to be there in order to release them and that person gets off at 5pm. Never will I go to Walmart Vision in Villa Rica GA. again...EVER!! The very worst in customer service

I went in there today and I dont even know why they are open. It took me 20 minutes to find someone who works there and then I was told that they wont have a doctor until October

I’m shocked to see such awful reviews however, I didn’t experience any of this and I’ve literally been dealing with them since May 2019 up until today. Dr.James literally saved my daughter from going blind in her left eye, my daughter had an eye exam October of 2018 at another Dr’s office and we were told she was perfectly fine. Dr.James found some abnormal things (Dr talk) I don’t remember everything that she said because it all hit me like a ton on bricks at that moment, after Dr.James’s recommendation we ended up being seen by 4 different specialists and my daughter has had 2 different surgeries and weekly visits to each specialist since. Cody the office manager is also wonderful.

I was able to get same day appointments for my daughter and myself. Everyone was extremely kind, helpful, and also very knowledgeable. Not to mention the prices of the appointments were half as much as as any other optometrist. The frames were priced at a great deal as well.

I wouldn’t recommend this walmart vision center. I took my son in to get his eye exam and update his contacts prescription. I found out later they didn’t give his right contact prescription. They gave him one from the last year not the updated one we just had done. I’m done with this walmart vision center.

I had a contact that tore in my eye, and I called the next day to be seen by the office. The optician told me they were fully booked but she would do her best to fit me into their scheduled. I was seen after work and given a very affordable prescription by Dr. James. I travel a lot because of my job position, and I have to say this is one of the best Wal-Mart Vision Centers I have visited in the past 12 years. The staff is very attentive and understanding. I will now be using them permanently.

Take your hard earn money elsewhere! Ive been trying to get the correct contact lenses for 5 freaking months. Ive been wearing corrective lenses for 30yrs. so, lets just say its not my first time. I told them whats working and what not. Yet, the last set I waited a month for I couldnt see literally anything more than the shape of what was in front of me. So, I asked for my money back to go elsewhere. I was told sorry its been too long since the original eye exam. But, they would be happy to schedule another eye exam making it the third time in 5 months. I declined because Im not playing around for the next 2 months just to get the wrong lenses again. So, I am SOL on my money. Oh and just because they are open doesnt mean you can pick up your glasses or contacts. There needs to one of the Optometrists on duty so, you may need to return after their 2 hour lunch break or possibly the next day. The customer service is HORRIBLE. The hours are HORRIBLE. The Doctor is apparently incapable of a correct eye exam. I am taking my business elsewhere and hope you do as well. These people care nothing about earning or keeping your business.

Do not waste your time or money! Ordered and paid over $600.00 for three glasses and keep in mind I ALREADY had new frames for two of those. So basically I got one complete set and just the lenses for the other two. Waited over three weeks and I had to keep calling now I am told they are in but you can not pick up until Monday because they have NO LICENSED OPTOMETRIST AVAILABLE. WHAT THE HECK. SO WE HAVE TO WAIT FOUR MORE DAYS! They also said they called however I have nothing on my caller ID or voice mail.

4 months ago I had my eye exam at a place where my insurance recommended. I took that prescription to walmart and spent $365 for progressive lenses with transitions so I wouldnt have to carry Rx sunglasses around. That was for the lenses only, which I had fitted to my existing favorite (non-walmart) frames (only 4 years old). 4 months later my metal frame suffered a crack on the bridge so I brought them into walmart to see if they could match the lenses with a frame in their store. They couldnt find ANY and recommended a fix it shop for a temporary fix or to purchase a whole NEW set of lenses that would fit one of their frames. So they got $365 only 4 months ago but wouldnt give me ANY kind of break toward new lenses and frames.

I rate 2 stars only because Dr. Merritt was great; but, my overall experience was terrible.I scheduled an appointment early Monday morning for this Friday. I verified over the phone that my VSP insurance was accepted and in network. When I arrived on today-everything I was told over the phone on Monday morning was obsolete. I was told that they do not verify the actual benefit coverage until the day before-and they did not have the time to do that on yesterday.I know for certain that I asked all of the right questions over the phone on Monday. My eye exam for this now out-of-network eye exam exceeded the price that I should have paid for my glasses and lenses combined. Very unprofessional service.

Bad service. Its been 2 months and called today just for the lady to tell me it will be another 2 more weeks (hopefully) before my glasses come in. They messed up my first prescription, had to return those. Now Im waiting to get the correct ones. So the fact that its going to take almost 3 months to get one pair of prescription glasses is just ridiculous.

My daughter cut my eye with her fingernail while playing. The walmart vision center got me in there quick, affordable service, coupons for prescriptions, very nice and friendly staff.
