For a small store, I got amazing deals! Got a 50 piece silverware set for only $10! I also got other essentials for our apartment and only spent about $100+ with mostly everything on sale or clearance.

I do like to shop here. Aisles are always uncluttered and neat. The staff has always been really helpful. Even looked up furniture for me to see if I could get it at another location. I have never had anything ring up an incorrect price for me and THAT is something you dont find elsewhere.

I would just like to state that the cashier here is by far the most helpful cashier I’ve ever had. Kayla is the sweetest girl who always has a smile on her face and is always willing to share that happiness every time I come in. She has taken the time and remembered my rewards number and that’s no easy task because you know she has hundreds of customers a day and she took the time to remember mine. Kayla loves making jokes all while being efficient at her task. I would say that she is truly a model employee that all others should try to mimic. Big lots has something really special there and if you ask me I’m surprised they don’t have her as a manager yet. Thank you Kayla for being so invested in your job and brightening customers days every time we come in. Keep that smile on your face because it’s too good not to share with the world.

Usually happy but stopped today as they had miracle grow organic soil on sale 2 for $12. Asked manager if he would take $5 each if I took 10 bags. He was kinda short and said no. I told him it didnt hurt to ask and that Id take 10 bags anyway. I helped the associate load the 10 bags and that would have left 1 bag so I said thow it on and Ill go pay for it. I went in and they were going to charge me $8.50 single bag price. I mentioned I had bought 10 and that was the last one. Lady said nope gotta have 2 or its $8.50. So I said come out and take it off my truck.Of I hadnt been on a hurry I would have returned the other 10 as well.Definitely not the customer service I expected.

Product I wanted was out of stock due to media induced panic

Bought two beds from Big Lots in Vincennes Indiana 4 months ago. My daughter began getting bug bites about a month later. We have never had bed bugs! It took us a while to figure out what was biting her. We threw away our beds as soon as we found out that it was bed bugs and treated the house. Last week we bought two new beds from Big Lots and upon opening the boxes we found that there were bed bugs in them. Those beds were immediately removed from our house and we are treating our house again as a precaution.

Went during a decent sale and was impressed with what we found. Standard assortwd collwction but aome really good deals on atuff I twnd to use from other name brands. Staff wasnt mean and was helpful when I couldnt find dog food. Though floors could use some work.
