I brought my car here after significant water damage that happened while my car was at the dealership awaiting an engine replacement. There was so much mold, and the dealership refused to return my calls and I ended up having to file an insurance claim. I am so glad I ended up going to this place for the appraisal. There are body shops and then there are great body shops. Stock or Modified Bodyworks is neither, they are the BEST in the 757 and all surrounding areas. Joey and his crew can handle anything you throw at them in their state of the art service center. Their extreme dedication to customer service and their exceptional professionalism are out done by no other. The teams skillful ability to take on and dominate from the smallest to biggest challenges in automotive body work puts other body shops at a major disadvantage in my opinion. I would highly recommend this business. The staff provided excellent customer service, especially Lindsey. My vehicle was repaired without issues and the company handled most of the work for the claim and repair. They even called the rental car shop on my behalf. I was able to leave my rental with them for drop off so I could drive away in my newly fixed vehicle without any additional trips.

Joey and his team do amazing work and provide amazing service. I brought them my 2018 Silverado to have some repairs done under my insurance and the did a phenomenal job. You cant even tell the truck has been in an accident. They even painted the grill I bought for it while it was there for a very reasonable price.Anytime I get asked if I know any good body shops in town Stock or Modified is always the first to be mentioned. They are by far one of the best body shops in the area. I will definitely do business with them again, hopefully the next time it would be of my own will and not under an insurance claim.

Right before the pandemic, a valet company in Richmond had a small accident with my car. Luckily I was able to drive it home and their insurance company covered the cost of the damage. The team and Stock and Modified made it such an easy process and worked with the insurance company. Even set up my rental car, they have enterprise deliver right to their shop which was so convenient. I highly recommend using them for your car/truck needs.

Today I had my 2019 Subaru WRXs windshield replaced by Stock or Modified Bodyworks, and I am so pleased with all stages of the job. Mr. Arzillo is very fast to respond to emails and helped order the windshield I needed, set me up with his glass technician, and knocked out the job in about an hour and a half while I comfortably waited at the shop in the costumer lounge. Shout out to the glass technician for performing the job swiftly and with great quality workmanship. Glass looks fantastic, crystal clear, and the price was very very good! Joey and his team were spectacular! I first heard about Stock or Modified Bodyworks 4 years ago and the person was so passionate about their work and quality left such an impression on me, that I said the moment I needed any type of bodywork these guys were the ones I would go to. Sure enough this year I bought a custom front bumper for my 370z, which was known for having fitment issues but these guys man... I am just blown away! I was expecting to see something wrong with the fitment, but what I ended up seeing was the best damn install for this front bumper I have ever seen. The color match for this bumper was a perfect match to my car and it is all thanks to Joey and his crew. Any concerns I had they went out of their way to address and they made me a customer for life.

Stock or Modified Bodyworks Inc. did an outstanding job on my 2017 Mustang GT. It is Platinum White (Metal Flake) and there was an issue with the paint not matching between the metal and plastic parts. Corporate Ford referred me to Beach Ford who source their paint/body work to Stock or Modified Bodyworks. They did a great job matching the paint colors, the car looks like it did on day one. I couldnt be happier with the paint job they did for me. It was a hard color to match and they did an awesome job. Paint and install was 1/3 the price of having the dealership do it. Staff was awesome and knew what they were doing. Id go back and recommend everyone else to come here as well.

I cannot recommend Stock Or Modified Bodyworks enough. Ive brought my Challenger in twice for work, both times to repair damage from accidents I had been in. I dont really have to go into detail how stressful it is to be in an accident or deal with the aftermath, but let me tell you that the staff at Stock or Modified take the stress out of the repair side of things. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and go above and beyond each and every time. I also want to give a shout out to Lindsay, shes been there for me during both visits and is the absolute best! And talk about knowing her stuff, she walks you through the entire start to finish and explains it in a way thats easy understand (which is greatly appreciated because Im not very savvy in the car department at all.) I will not bring my car anywhere else, and I will recommend Stock or Modified to anyone looking to get work done on their car.

I had asked the owner Joey Arzillo a question about work I needed done on my car. Unfortunately, they do not do that sort of work any longer. He then, for the next 20 min, gave me points of contact to people that do, made solid recommendations, and was just above and beyond polite and helpful. I will find a reason to use his company in the future for sure. What a nice surprise to find a company that even though they will not get your money, will help you nonetheless and ensure you find what you are looking for. Stock or Modified is the place to go, dont look anywhere else. My 2021 Silverado was hit in the bumper/trailer hitch area while I was stopped. Stock or Modified was on Geicos list of recommended locations. After reading reviews, I dropped the truck off this past Monday. Nate performed an initial inspection with me and let me know what to expect. Although the damage and repairs were minor, It was a brand new truck, so I did not know what to expect. Nate called twice throughout the week to update me. I was very surprised when he called Thursday evening to say it was done and was going to get cleaned up and washed on Friday for pick up. When I arrived yesterday to pick the truck up it was sitting outside. Not only did the shop perform the repairs to the bumper, hitch and side rear quarter, they also completely washed the entire truck and vacuumed and cleaned the inside. Stock and Modified exceeded my expectations by far. This is the place to take you vehicle.

They did a fantastic job of fixing the front of my 370Z. It is a 50th anniversary edition (1 of 100), so I am a bit particular. They made it good as new, and even detailed the whole car. They gave me great advice on working with Progressive insurance as well. I hope I never need them again, but if I do, I will definitely go back.

Absolutely first rate. I wanted to get my fenders on my Harley Sportster painted to match the tank. The guy who had the bike before me had the middle of fenders painted gray with Molon Labe down the front and the Three Precenters symbol on that back surrounded in stars. Not that I dont agree with the sentiment, but since Im not part of the group I didnt want anyone asking me for the secret handshake. I had a hard time finding a shop that paints motorcycles. There was one bike shop that advertised they have painting service so I took it to them. Turns out they send their paintwork to Stock or Modified. When I finally got my bike back the fenders were painted matt black instead of glossy like my tank. The bike shop gave me Jarods (Jerry) name and number saying theyll take a look. Evidently, there was a miscommunication between the bike shop and S or M. But, Jerry was a total profession and told me he would make it right and got their painter, Nick, on the job. Two days later I got my bike back and its a perfect match. If youre looking to get your motorcycle painted ... or any other bodywork done this is the place to go. I could not recommend them more highly.

Absolutely phenomenal!!!I was referred to these guys buy a friend who has a lot of customer work done and I must say, they are hands down the best shop around. My car was scratched all up and down both sides by some kid. I went to four different places, including here, and all of them except Jared and his staff, said the whole car would need to be painted. They were able to buff out every scratch and did not have to paint it. The car looks brand new. Was originally referred to this company by the local Hampton Roads car enthusiasts/community. They have been nothing short of delivering exceptional customer service and making sure that all the needs of my vehicles body repair are met. They are good honest people and uphold their word. I have brought my car twice, both for insurance repairs. One due to an angry impatient tow truck driver cracking the bumper on my M3. Then another hit and run on the M3.Update: another repair by them, 18 wheeler without a cover on their trailer had debris flying and chipped my bumper. Of course I bring the car back to stock or modified to have the repairs done. They have done all three repairs beautifully and have honored their lifetime warranty on small defects found. Ive dealt with bodyshops in the past that would never go to the lengths that SMB does to ensure their customers are satisfied with their work. For that alone I recommend them to anyone who has some repair work needed or any bodywork/paint needs on their vehicle.

Great business! Customer service is excellent. This shop was recommended by my insurance company for a repair after an accident, and I can see why. They even made an excellent recommendation when my vehicle needed work they couldn’t do. They take wonderful care of their customers and work with insurance to make everything easy for you.

I got a fiberglass hood painted and fitted for a 65 mustang, new wheels mounted, and a scratch in my door fixed. They were incredibly responsive to communication. I started the process when I was overseas and the owner was amazing responding to my requests and getting me scheduled. My first hood came damaged and the shop took care of it and notified me immediately. I felt informed the entire time and the car was even done a week earlier than initially anticipated. They even helped make sure my old hood was properly cushioned to prevent scratches on the way home. I couldn’t say enough positive things about this place.

Im so glad I picked Stock or Modified through insurance. This place was so easy to work with and the repair that was on my 2016 Tuscan was perfect. I even tried to looking for issues and found 0. I told a family member, that is a service writer for an auto shop, that my car was in a wreck and i had just dropped it off. His response was, you should of let me know, I would of sent you to Stock or Modified. Glad that worked out.

It has taken me a while to write this review, but I cant say enough good things about this shop, to which I was sent by my insurance company. I really messed up the passenger side of my car, but they had the wheels, tires, quarter panels and bumpers replaced and shining in a couple of weeks. I noticed a couple of little things that needed adjustment within a week of picking up the car, and the owner fixed the issues himself. The office staff, mechanics and owner simply know the craft and give great customer service to boot. They should be your first and only stop if you or someone you know needs great body work.

We are so pleased with the work that was done. Everyone one was very pleasent and always smiling. Richard worked very hard to get it done quckly and to save us as much money as possible. The communication was fantastic, which means so much to me! Thank you again!

This shop was highly recommended by many Autocross friends when my Mazda MX-5 was rear ended with $6,700 worth of damage. The staff were all very welcoming, and the repair work was completed extremely quick! The car looked like it had a detail cleaning, inside and out, even the tires were ArmorAlled. I was given a walk around tour of all the work done, and received a detailed printout of everything they did. The paint work was flawless, and beautiful. Joey and his team have done numerous projects on trucks that I have owned and their craftsmanship is amazing. Joey is getting ready to do some more work on a new truck that I have and I trust him and only him to do this work; he seems to always treat my vehicles as though they were his. I know Stock or Modified Bodyworks does amazing work and if you want the job done correctly and flawlessly, go to them and you will not be disappointed. I couldnt be happier with my experience at Stock or Modified. Lindsey was so incredibly helpful, patient and knowledgeable!My car got hit in a parking lot and no note was left. Lindsey was in communication with my insurance company and helped get my deductible down. The dent was fixed to perfection and the car came back to me cleaner than when I dropped it off! Recently my family woke up to a nightmare. A car was set fire in our apt community parking lot, and that car ended up being right next to my husbands truck. My husbands Toyota Tundra had been completely melted on one side. We called our insurance and knew that we only wanted repairs done by Stock or Modified Bodyworks. While yes it was an insurance claim, Joey and his team made sure that everything was perfect and continues to make sure it is up to his standards. Which I must say his standards are very high. If you find yourself in a bind or if you just want to upgrade what you have. Stock or Modified is the only way to go!!

They do GREAT WORK! And the staff here is the BEST! They are the friendliest bunch ever and so helpful. Having your vehicle damaged is no fun but the friendly environment here made the process less stressful.

This was my second time going to the shop. The entire car community around the area recommended Joey and his team for my Subaru’s repairs. Both times i was called that my car was done sooner than expected. You can’t even tell where the car was hit. We had our 2013 Toyota Venza repaired here after it was rear ended. We decided to let Stock or Modified do the repairs after seeing the positive reviews here. It was a great decision. Not only were the repairs done well, the staff was professional, polite and reassuring during the process. We felt they really appreciated the opportunity to fix our vehicle and would recommend them to family and friends.

Somehow our Dads car got damaged under the front passenger fog light. We brought it to the Princess Anne Courthouse Mechanic shop where we always get our cars fixed. Shawn, the owner suggested we take the damaged car to see Joey at Stock or Modified Bodyworks, Inc.Upon my arrival, I met Lanny and she was very thorough about the process of how the car will be fixed. Two days later, we get the car back and it looks awesome....thank you to those at the shop who worked on our car and thank Lanny for your professionalism.

My time at Modified are always satisfying.They have always honored a time to come for repairs and pick up.The business is growing due to their correctness of repair and words taken to the bank. Their new building is twice in size of current repair shop so the future for Modified should be the establishment to come to for perfection.

Took care of all the issues with custom wheels. During my first encounter, I had the pleasure of meeting the Director of First Impressions, Lanny. She made my decision to have my vehicle repaired at SOMBW. She is warm and friendly, clearly she has the office running like a well-oiled machine. It was worth the the trip just meeting her.
