There are not enough good things to say about Dr Soderberg and her staff. She is an expert in her field but also the kindest and most compassionate doctor I have ever met. When you have an issue she will pull everything out of her arsenal to help. Truly the best!

I was a new patient this morning and had a great experience. This morning I woke up and urgently needed to get in to see a dermatologist. I called a few places and coastal Dermatology listened to my concerns and fit me in! Everyone there was very nice and the nurse and doctor were great. I felt like they really cared and were concerned about my issues. I would 100% recommend this place and will go back if ever needed. Thank you guys for taking me in on such short notice and helping me!
My first visit with Meredith and her MA was awesome. She listened to all of my concerns, she knew what I needed and was very detail oriented. My 2 following telehealth visits were very unorganized; waiting for about 40 minutes for a 5 minute conversation with a PA who was clearly just winging it. It seemed like she had no idea who I was and no interest reading my chart before the visit. If I have a copay that I have to pay every single time I am seen I would just appreciate maybe just a heads up that the telehealth visit is going to be delayed, someone who briefly skimmed my chart before speaking with me and a little more time spent talking about the medication, what to expect, the dos and dont etc....I was told after my TH appointment (the first one) that after I texted my pregnancy test that someone would call to schedule my follow up...no call. I dont mind calling for my own follow up but dont say someone will call me when they wont. A lot of my knowledge is coming from looking it up myself and support groups. I understand they make money by seeing a lot of patients but I hope the higher ups realize that it is severely impacting patients care by making providers see so many patients in one day, that they cant actually do anything useful or help anyone. Very disappointing, maybe it was just those 2 x and it will get better....Im hoping so.

Where do I begin, This office of the absolute definition of unprofessional! I went in because I have been struggling with hyper pigmentation and dark spots for a while now and I finally had the time and availability to schedule an appointment, on top of waiting for the doctor for about 45 minutes when it didn’t seem to be very busy when she came in she looked at my skin for less than five minutes and automatically prescribed Something generic without even looking into my problems are listening to what I had to say. So I go home try what she recommended and it literally made my skin break out in hives and become 10 times worse than it was. When I called the office to reschedule another appointment after I had told them what happened instead of trying to fit me in your schedule to see me they just prescribe something else without even listening to what was going on. It has gotten to the point where I’ve had to go to the emergency care and the ER doctor literally said what she prescribed me is only meant for severity cases which wasn’t me. If you are a person of color I do not recommend going to this office as they do not know how to deal with melanin rich skin tones.This situation has gotten so bad that I literally have cried myself to sleep and I’m embarrassed to even go outside because of how bad my skin has been like I said previously I’ve dealt with acne and hyper pigmentation my whole life but it’s never been as bad until I started going to this horrendous office. It is starting to make me question their business practices and if the doctor even has an actual PhD or not. I am so disappointed and like I said I would not recommend anyone going here especially if you are a person of color.
I cannot say enough good things about this office - I was very afraid of heading in to have a couple of spots looked at (I waited over a year while researching different offices) - Meredith and her counterpart (sorry I didnt catch your name today!!) were nothing short of wonderful. When I tell you this 25 year old was terrified I mean it - the assistant kept me distracted talking about Holiday plans while she numbed me and while Meredith took off a few spots. She looked at them, said she wasnt worried about them but would take them off anyway - and same day nonetheless. I am so ecstatic to have found these wonderful ladies and will sing their praises to anyone who will listen!
Taylor took great care of my grandson. This is the first visit to Coastal Dermatology, and she took such great care of him, that I will recommend her services. I had another major dermatologist REFUSE to treat my 5yr old grandson, after they said they would. She was kind, patient, and very gentle with him. Thank you!!
Stephanie, the licensed master esthetician, is absolutely wonderful. Not only is she efficient and professional, but she makes you feel absolutely comfortable during the entire appointment. Highly recommend to see her.

Took my one year old to see Dr. Taylor. Shes amazing, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and even reached out to me after my appointment to let me know what else I could try if the original creams didnt help. The office staff were very professional and understanding to my wild child in the waiting room.
I came in with an unexpected and severe allergic reaction and did all they could to help me. They fit me into the schedule to be seen the same day, were sympathetic to what I was going through, and took the time to answer all the questions I had.I also appreciated the fact Meredith took the time to find treatment options that were best suited for my needs and what I was comfortable with as opposed to telling me what to do without consideration of my situation. Im grateful to get personal and thoughtful care, especially when it comes to something as sensitive to a skin issue on my face and eyes.The office is modern and clean, the staff is helpful, and Meredith had a great bedside manner.
I highly recommend this office, they were able to see me the same day I had a bad allergic reaction and severe psoriasis flare up because of this reaction. Joann was an amazing help to me knowing I did not have insurance. She made sure I got the least expensive prescriptions available and was sympathetic to my needs. Doctor Taylor was on it as well and did not rush my appointment they squeezed in for me.
I LOVE this place and am sad that I will no longer be able to go back in a year to get checked out for my moles due to us moving. The staff is friendly and goes beyond to make you feel comfortable when you first go there and when you are in the back waiting to be seen. I have to take my 3 year old with me and they are always super sweet to her and professional when she is acting up even with me telling her to stop. They even explain what they are doing to me because she became concerned when I had to get moles scratched off/removed.Very clean and I feel right at home there. I hate going somewhere and not feeling comfortable but here I felt like they truly care and that put my mind at ease. This place is no way a scam as I had seen another person posted. They are very professional and very thorough when examining you for anything. They also helped me for a different matter concerning my scalp and my face, helping me get medicine for both. Love this place!!
I highly recommend Dr. Soderberg and Ms. Watrous-PA-C. While I knew of just a couple things I was allergic to since I was very young, a few years ago I suddenly began suffering horrific reactions to a new variety of things that I could not figure out. By working with Coastal Dermatology, they have helped me get my skin under control. Heck, I am working outside my home now whereas for years I simply could not. I am truly grateful.

Ive been seeing Stephanie for several years now for extractions and IPL treatment. What a sweetheart of a human being! I was actually seeing a different dermatologist but switched to this dermatologist because of Stephanie. Dr. Soderberg really took the time to look at my skin and listen to my concerns! My skin is clear and getting it clear has been easy with what was prescribed. Thank you guys for giving me confidence and clear skin!!

Took my 3 year old in for blisters between her fingers and a rash on her face. Dyshidrotic Eczema! The doc got down to her level, made her feel very comfortable, answered my questions without talking down to me at all and wrote out the creams and usage. I love a good bedside manner! The diagnosis was right on and the creams are already working 12 hours later. Relief for my little one!
I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Soderberg and her staff. I have been seeing them for a few years. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. My dermatologist for life!
Soooo unbelievably unprofessional. Was so super excited to finally get my skin taken care of. Made my appointment told all my friends “heck yeah I got a dermo appt I’m so excited” been looking forward to it for daaaays.Then I get there 15 minutes early. Door locked. You told me my appointment was at 8 be here 15 minutes early, so I was. Then about 5 til 8 every employee starts showing up. I thought odd but okay. Moving forward. So I wait in my car and go inside at 8 walk up to the window with the VERY unfriendly receptionist. Give her my name and date of birth. She tells me, no you’re appt is at 10. And I was shocked because I remember the whole damn phone call. I said “8 am?” She said “yep 8.” I even had a reminder set immediately after the phone call. 8 am. There was no verbal misunderstanding, she just literally did not tell me the right appt. Not only did I have to leave my job early to be ready for this appt, but y’all completely crushed my spirit in getting my skin taken care of. Could have saved a couple extra lives and had a few more hours on my paycheck. So that’s cool. Thanks y’all. But don’t worry, already made another appt with another dermo that is more than happy to take on a new patient same day as calling. Hopefully their receptionist didn’t lie about what time my appt is.
I love Costal dermatology!! Dr. Soderberg and her entire team are so amazing!! She shows care and attention for all of your medical concerns.Stephanie Dillman is an amazing master esthetician who makes you feel comfortable and makes sure to explain everything before she starts your treatment. She is the queen of the laser who has taken years of sun damage off my face, neck and arms! I have left each time happy and pleased with my results as well as her instructions on how to take care of my face. Stephanie’s professionalism and her calm words helped me to get exactly what I wanted for my face. The results are fantastic.I highly recommend anyone who is in search of a dermatologist and fabulous master esthetician to make an appointment with Costal Dermatology you will not be disappointed!
TOTAL SCAM! They tell you exactly what you want to hear so you will make an appointment. They charge you $150 before you even have a chance to talk to a doctor (now i see why). Once they see you then the real scam begins. No deals for anything and everything i asked about was at least double to triple the going rate, and of coarse you need more visits. Basically i would have paid over $1000 for something that should have cost $250 tops. AVOID THIS PLACE!
Love the caring providers but support staff have no sense of urgency and are not very helpful. They need to remember that we are the customers that make their jobs necessary.
Ridiculously long wait time, no apology. Very brief and mediocre care for my teenage daughter and her acne. Doctor Soderberg came highly recommended I was very hopeful but turned out highly disappointed.
The medical staff is good, but major issues with the front office. I have Tricare and was told I would pay $31 co-pay. I explained that cant be correct because Ive met my deductible, they said it showed I did not. I reluctantly paid. I had 4 appts in a week because of a testing procedure, each time they charged me (except once and I asked why the girl said she mustve forgotten to charge me that day). I had thought they finally caught on that I should not be paying a dime, but I was wrong. At the 4th appt (today) I told the front office that I should not be paying. She swiped my card. I sat and called Tricare (whose statements indicated I owed 0) while one the phone she said she noticed I had a $31 credit and refunded me for today. I told her they owe me $62 more for the other visits I paid for incorrectly. She never offered to get the office manager or restore the money they took without warrant she just kept doing whatever. Ill be asking to speak to the office manager after my appt. So far Ive been waiting 25 mins in an empty waiting room for my appt. oh and the first time they charged me when they werent supposed to they did it twice!!!! I told them and they said they voided the second charge but it took my money out and held it in pending until it dropped off 5 days later. So far they have taken $124 from me that they shouldnt have, Ive gotten $31 back so far, will have to wait for the pending charge from today to drop off. Their billing dept and front office needs a lot of education and training! Just terrible. Oh and I changed an appt for a Friday, they incorrectly changed it for a Wednesday so when I came in they told me my appt was earlier in the day and I missed it, nope your front office just doesnt understand the difference between Wednesday & Friday. I wont be back after today.Update: office manager says they don’t check with Tricare so they blindly charge people when they aren’t supposed to! She said they do it that way cause people don’t pay if you bill them, so instead they take money when you don’t owe it upfront? Nice. She can’t give me my money back, I get to wait until Tuesday to get the money they should have never taken away!
Dr Soderburg is awesome. (However) Her staff is so unprofessional. I have been going to this office for about 4 years. The original staff was the best but now they are all gone and its terrible. Unprofessional conversations, no returned calls, unfriendly and plain rude. I hope the Doctor figures this out soon or she will loose all her patients.
Love practitioner Taylor! She spent time addressing all my concerns. She was knowledgeable and pleasant. She didnt try to sell me on a bunch of product either. We set up a great plan for me. Unfortunately everytime I called to schedule a follow up, I got the answering machine. I left a message everytime (3x before I gave up) with no call back. I think some workflow processes need to be addressed to avoid unnecessarily losing customers. - update 10/15/18: office manager saw the review and was interested in fixing the problem. I appreciate that my business was valued. Changed the rating based on this follow up.
I was the last appointment of the day, and it took a while for me to get in because the front desk spelled my name wrong in the system and my insurance kept declining my claim. It was a Friday and I know everyone was trying to get home, but Ive never felt so rushed at a doctors appointment before. I wanted to see Dr. Soderberg specifically since it was my first time there. Once she came in, she was out of the room by no more than 10 minutes. I got stitches and the staff didnt bother to tell me how to take care of it. I had to ask and was just given a piece of paper.They were all friendly enough. But I felt so rushed through my appointment I was in and out, I could tell all they were focused on was going home.
I showed up for a follow up appointment and they said that there was nothing to do that day. The next time I called them they hung up on me three times before I could say a word. Five minutes later I called again and asked for a callback to set an appointment. I never heard from them.
I had a very unprofessional experience with the staff here. I called to have a prescription refill called in. Called the office and the girl was laughing on the phone and having other conversations the same time she was talking to me. After she regained focus on our conversation, she said she would have the PA look at it because Dr. Soderberg was out. I called back to see if it had been called in and the girl said their policy is 48 hours to call in refills. The medication I was on is timed and I explained to them that I had already missed one dose on Sunday. I asked her if she could please have it called in that day. In her tone she seemed to be irritated and said she could not promise but she would talk with the PA. I never heard back from anyone so I called again and talked with someone else who did not seem keen on helping me and once again advised me about their 48 hour policy on calling in refills. In the end of the conversation, I told her I had never heard of such a policy anywhere else I have been and asked her to remove me from their patient list and not to call in the prescription. Overall, the lack of patient concern and care turned me off and I will not be back.

My experience with this practice was not a good one. I was told that Dapsone was like an antibiotic...why not tell the 60 yr.old woman with the Inflammation...that it is a anti Inflammatory medication with antibiotic Properties? I understand words. When someone presents with a Gramalomatous Responce to fungi...why not suggest that the HOST of said fungi be TREATED. I mandated it...brought my husband in, and showed the 50 PLUS YEARS of fungal infection, toenails eaten away from fungi..but wait!!! A Biopsy is needed!!! 2weeks later results confirmed...Nail Fungus!!! What a Revelation!! Now, over a month later...STILL no prescription strength Fungicide called in...BLOOD Work needed!! More time for Me to be Re-infected,and hubby to stay contaminated. I never got the benefit of the WOODS Lamp nor KOH, Nor Illuminoflorsce. Perhaps the use of a MICROSCOPE would have hastened the Diagnoses. Is there a Minus Stars Option here?
