I was so excited to visit Duck Donuts 🥳! My anticipation was met with great reward! The donuts were hands 🙌🏽 down the best donuts I have ever had (move over Krispy Kreme)! And an extremely kind manager name Josh Perez turned my experience at the Virginia Beach establishment into a Memorable experience for both me and my daughter. Something I’m really proud she was able to witness. Thank you Mr. Perez for your kindness and prompt response to service. The donuts were so very yummy…5 STARS! Order online through Uber Eats to avoid the long line. Even though drinks are able to be ordered, the only items you can actually get is hot coffee or Pepsi products. The team was unable to credit the iced tea I ordered. Staff are young, learning, and have a high productivity demand. Patience is a must!!

I came with a friend and without much or an appetite. Very unique donut experience. As the donuts were being made custom to order, I saw the vanilla cake (only) donuts tossed into the toppings to get a tasty coating before the next step. I had a chocolate icing donut the next day. Still delicious. Wish I had eaten it warm and fresh!

If I could give them 0 stars I would! The workers just didn’t wanna work so they didn’t even open. There was a line of us waiting to get in and get donuts. A local guy is the one who told us “this place is run by kids and they rarely ever wanna work” so they lost a ton of business this morning.

Calling all donut enthusiasts! This place was great. They have some great options and creative ones too. We decided to grab a bunch and just try them. The atmosphere was cozy and fun too. Everyone coming in and out seemed to have a smile on their faces; workers included. I highly recommend checking them out if you’re in the VA Beach area.

Skipped breakfast at our hotel to come here... the store was closed even though their information says they are open. My 4 year old daughter was not happy nor were we.

I checked for Duck Donuts open near us, I planned to pick them up on our way back home. I ordered online in an attempt to save time. Everything was going great, order went thru and confirmed, until we get to the location and it is closed!

Diabetics avoid this place!Went for the first time this morning. Got 2 donuts and wont eat again until dinner!I got the maple bacon and it was good but the maple overwhelmed the bacon. Maybe less maple? I also got the lemon glazed with raspberry drizzle. I wasnt going to eat it buuuut then I did! Good stuff! Excellent for boardwalk walking fuel.

The donuts are good but don’t expect good service.My boyfriend and I walked in and the first thing we see is this kid at the register who didn’t look very excited to be there. We tell him our order and paid but while we were waiting I decided I wanted a coffee. I asked for a frappe and he said they were not making those today. I think he just didn’t want to. So I asked for a cold coffee and if the had any creamers or flavors and he pointed to the end of the counter. When I tried to pay for the coffee he told me don’t worry about it, I think because he just didn’t want to use the register. Also all there was to add to my coffee was sugar and milk which typically I don’t mind but sugar doesn’t dissolve in cold coffee so ended throwing most of it away. The coffee was good but not sweet enough for my liking. The rest of the staff seemed friendly but the kid who did our order forgot one of our donuts but before we could say anything he went to the back and was standing with his friends talking and playing on their phones so we had to get someone else to finish our order. We get our donuts and leave but once we got to our car we realize they didn’t even give us the right toppings. Some didn’t have toppings at all and others had toppings we didn’t order. The counters were very sticky so try not to touch them or put your stuff on them. The donuts are good but not good enough to go back and pay that much for the wrong donuts and bad service.

Store closed at 1:30pm on a Friday in a major tourist area?We walked into this store at about 1:30 were the cashier told us he had already taken his last order and will be closing the store until the following day. So we very disappointedly left and went to Starbucks. But seriously closing the store In the middle off a busy Friday.

Visiting the area for work, and my friends from the area recommended that I try a donut from Duck donuts. It was a very delightful experience, from the very friendly service to the experience of watching your order made fresh right in front of you. I tried the maple bacon donut off of a recommendation, and it did not disappoint - it was like having a pancake drenched in maple syrup with bacon in every bite. The blueberry icing with lemon drizzle and the strawberry glaze with sprinkles are other flavors I tried and was quite satisfied with. This location is situated close to the waterfront, so storefront parking is metered. However, it is definitely worth it to sink your teeth into one of these melt-in-mouth delights. My new favorite donut spot on trips to Virginia.

Duck donuts are amazing! They are made to order cake donuts so you can chose your own toppings and they are served warm. They have a great selection of options. My favorite is cinnamon sugar with chocolate drizzle but you can’t go wrong here. Can get very busy with a long line on the weekends.

I love Duck Donuts but I have never been so disrespected at an establishment as I was by the girl with the Yankees hat working the register at 12:15 today July 24th. I hope she was just having a bad day but when someone comes in with kids who are saying one thing and pointing at a different picture you could try to help them not roll your eyes while squeezing the bridge of your nose and shaking your head, Im sorry we inconvenienced you at your job and we just left without the donuts.

After placing an order for pickup on Uber Eats for 1 dozen donuts and 2 frappes, I was told when picking up that they did not sell flavored coffee or frappes at that location. They would not give me a refund, only offered to substitute for 2 regular coffees. I was given the phone number for the general manager Rich, who did not return my phone calls.

Staff here look high and just got up from whatever they are doing. Kitchen looks filthy. Too bad we had to really try it because we didnt get to try one at the Outer Banks being pandemic season last time. Hope manager sees this and so staff gives better service.

Oh my goodness you need to experience Duck Donuts! Made to order, they couldn’t be fresher. The variety of toppings will keep you coming back. My husband had a peanut butter and jelly donut and it was fabulous. Everything is delicious and it’s a fun experience for the entire family! And if someone in your party is traditional, Starbucks is right next-door.

We went on a Friday night and unknowingly walked in 10 minutes before closing. We were told to leave because they were getting ready to close. We came back the next day (earlier this time) and the donuts were amazing, but the cashier was less than enthusiastic about his job. I know that the staff is young, but they might need more and/or better training.

I went to the Outer Banks about 3 years ago and had Ducks Donuts then. Was not expecting on this vacation to be able to have them again! These are some of the best donuts ever!!!! You might be thinking im using too many exclamation points but absolutely not these Donuts are truly amazing!!! Definitely stop. My husband got we think it was called Fun on the beach. Pretty much a maple bacon donut and it was amazing! I went with a make your own and got peanut butter icing with Oreos and hot fudge drizzle. It was so good we went right next door and also picked up some fraps and cold brew from Starbucks and ate outside. Overall felt fairly safe in terms of covid-19. A little bit more caution could be taken however it was fine. The staff were really friendly and helping us figure out what we wanted and giving us some suggestions as well. Definitely stop here if youre in the area or drive here because its worth it.

Makeeba was the girl working the register today. We ordered half a dozen and half the order was completely wrong and not even close to what we ordered. The customer service by her was awful. If you hate your job so bad that you cant even put on a fake smile like the rest of us at work then quit.

I am not sure what this places problem is but they are extremely unprofessional. I had done an online order LAST Saturday and did not get everything I ordered. I called the store and was told by a manager, they could not refund an online order the store owner had to do it and that Id hear back from someone by end of day. Well that day ended and nothing. Then called again on Mon to find out what was going on cuz I had not heard anything and I was told yet again someone would be calling me and again, nothing. Here it is ONE WEEK later and we just called again, and got the whole noone in this store can help, only the owner and I dont know if theyll call you back since they havent yet.. What kind of service is this? Thats absolutely no way to treat your customers. Very disappointed in the..

These donuts are made fresh to order and surprisingly inexpensive. You can see the team busily making your donuts. You can customize your own or just choose some premade combinations. You can get singles, half dozen, or dozen. Youll want to eat them soon as they are still warm and gooey. There are benches outside or better yet, walk to the beach and enjoy them in front of the giant Neptune statue. As its along the beach strip, I dont think they have a parking lot.

Love me some tasty donuts! What really set these apart for me is that they were made to order! Very warm and fresh to go. THATS the way to eat a donut. We ate a bunch immediately and 24hrs later they still were pretty soft and moist.The flavors are amazing! The smores and oreo ones were amazing. Same for the blueberry pancake donut was amazing. Also got a sundae blueberry pancake donut that was gloriously hot and cold. Glad I came upon here. Wish there was one in NYC! Could always franchise 🤔😏

We walked in and the lady was very rude. She acted like she was annoyed. She pulled her phone down, and asked in the most sarcastic tone “How can I help you today?” We pointed to the baking in the sun and said we wanted maple bacon. We didn’t know there were two, and she didn’t even help. So we said never mind and left.

I may dare name this the best donut place ever - small and quaint but packed full of flavor. The donuts are made fresh in front of you and are then dipped and topped to your liking and served hot. They are very reasonably priced and all the dipping and topping doesnt cost extra! Crunchy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside: you really couldnt ask for much better.

Havent visited here yet but I have tried them twice. They taste like cake doughnuts similar to Little Debbie doughnuts or Dunkin with their signature icing. In these photos, Key Lime, Lemon, Vanilla, and Maple Bacon. Doughnut station at a wedding. I give it two stars, they taste basic to me compared to Ringos Doughnuts (5*****) of Smithfield, VA. Just my opinion.

When visiting VA Beach we always look forward to having Duck Donuts. There is nothing better than a warm donut after the beach. We cannot think of another donut shop to compare this place too. Its TOO good. There is finally a location in NY and we cant wait to continue our obsession at home.

Donuts are good but store is rarely open

So basically I have this friend who always goes on and on and on about everything they love. Kayaking? My friend adores it. They took me kayaking and I hated it because the water was like super dirty and there were snakes and spiders IN the water. So anyways, I should have known that I wouldnt like Duck Donuts but like this friend is SO convincing about everything and I finally got some. And it was very disappointing because I bit into it imagining Krispy Kreme and was as disappointed as I was when I realized too late that kayaking consisted of snakes. I didnt know that doughnuts could be so disappointing. But just like dirty-water kayaking exists, so do donuts that (gulp) arent Krispy Kreme.I am giving them 4 stars because they have convinced my friend and they are doing excellent convincing of people and raving about them and will probably always love kayaking and Duck Donuts.The service here was great! Prices are a little high in my honest opinion. But everything was clean. And people were friendly.And also, my friend is happy these donuts exist.Not everyone has to love them. Just like not everyone has to love kayaking.

We always like stopping at a Duck Donuts. Cake type donuts that are done up in several pre selected styles. You can also select your own icing & toppings. The donuts are typically being made as you order or just recently and you can watch them icing and decorating yours. They have an elevated platform to enable kids to watch as well. Not the cheapest donuts but always super fresh and weve never been disappointed.

I consider myself a seasoned donut eater, and this was quite possibly the best donut Ive ever had. I didnt have high expectations walking in, mainly because they use icing instead of frosting (which is my fav), but they surpassed my past donut experiences. They literally fry the donuts to order, giving you the warm and crispy taste.

Apparently they have breakfast sandwiches. So 6a.m. I get offered a maple bacon sausage egg and cheese donught .. think of what a Sausage McGriddle on steroids would taste like. I had this. I love this.

Our family are big fans of Duck Donuts - but this particular store in our neighborhood does not merit good ratings. It is never open until posted closing time and they always have an excuse for why they cannot stay open - even when 15 to 30 minutes before closing time we knock on the door while they are “cleaning up”. I guess in these extraordinary times when we are trying to support our local businesses, they simply don’t need the business?! After our latest frustration, we will certainly be spreading the word...

Husband went in there and waited for our donuts to be ready and was told they werent ready yet when they were sitting on the counter. Wasted about 20 minutes waiting on our order. Our order was also wrong because they didnt have an item but they replaced it with another donut

On vacation so I decided to visit Duck Donuts. The best donuts. Despite the decor not being like the picture... I still gave five stars because the taste is amazing. I took into account that the donuts just came out and were very hot which probably caused the icing to melt, making the decor somewhat messy but the taste is amazing. Best donuts I ever ate!

Poorly trained teenage employee set my box of donuts down in a mess of icing then handed it to me. There is icing all over my shirt now. When I pointed it out to him there was no apology, just a you need a napkin, man? Train your employees to have even the minimum of customer service skills for gods sake!

We have a Duck Donuts in Hershey and love it. While in VB on vacation we took family from the west coast to enjoy their delicious donuts. They were SO disorganized and SLOW with only 2 workers in a full shop. We ordered 6 donuts and it took almost 15 minutes to get them. It was very messy too. They get 2 stars because the donuts were tasty, as usual.
