Staff was friendly, I went here looking for used retro video games. Very small selection, the pictures don’t show what’s REALLY there. Cool for card games but, not really for gamers. 5/10. Have a good day.

Their punch cards are annoying. You get a stamp for each $10 you spend. 10× $10 stamps is $5 off. Five dollars off for $100 purchase isnt much of a reward, but then when you factor in that most likely something like $120-$140 was spent because you have to go OVER $10 for each stamp to earn the $5 off, it really isnt much of a reward. Another annoying thing is that if someone buys you a gift card, you cant earn stamps with store credit. Even though someone paid cash for the gift card. I kind of understand not wanting to let people earn stamps on store credit via trade in products, but maybe store credit and gift cards should be different.I still give them 5 stars, Im just saying the stamp card is more of a hook for them than a benefit to you. Every time I here No stamp-ies it grinds my gears 🙄, but then I remember its all just fun and games anyway 😄.

A fantastic blend of the big shop selection with small shop personality. Tables for board games, card games, wargames and RPGs. The store fosters a welcoming atmosphere amongst the various play groups, with players mingling across tables and genres. Low investment family / boxed games for those dipping their toes in the water; shelves upon shelves of hobby and miniatures for those already in the deep end.

They have a pretty good selection of board games. They have a lot of the games you play with figures, and the paints to paint them.They have some really cool displays of sets people have painted...really detailed work!

ToG was Awesome as always!!The employees are friendly and fun to be around. The are knowledgeable in anything youre into (table top gaming wise😜) Dungeons and Dragons, Warhammer, Star Wars, Magic The Gathering, and others .... as well as an assortment of non mainstream board games.

I try to support local stores as much as possible especially niche stores. I came in today to buy an item that their website claimed 9 are in stock at the VB store, neither of the employees actually checked to see if it was in stock and just gave me the its on the web store you can order it there then pick it up line and I can pick it up there but couldnt even give me an ETA if I went that route. Selection is ok and the storefront is clean and organized and the paint selection is great the only saving grace at this point.

It is a geeks paradise! They have stuff for Pokémon, Magic, D&D, plus so much more! A fantastic array of board games. The staff was friendly as well. They also have plenty of things for those people who are into painting figurines. And they run game nights (although, they arent currently due to the pandemic, posted 8/20)

Super nice. Lots of products available. Went there for 40k stuff was pleased

So many problems. Theyre not friendly at all. Dont try to come in less than 30 minutes before close either, because the man working the front desk will make the entire time youre there miserable. It does not matter how quick youll be. Also, dont come in unless you plan on spending money immediately. We sat down at the table to organize cards (maybe 10 minutes at most) and we were told you must pay $3 to sit or you need to buy something. Mind you, we were going to look for a specific card, but paying $3 to sit at a table and be unwelcomed the entire time was extremely agitating and we will not be back.

The Tower of Games is a well stocked game store with many tables for wargaming and trading card games. Theres also a room in back for role-playing games. I was impressed in the selection of products and picked up some stuff I was keeping tabs on from Kickstarter.

Advertised on the storefront as selling video games, but upon looking inside the store it strictly sells board games, cards, etc and nothing else. There was a glass display case with about ten assorted video games and nothing more. Very disappointing, and ought to be advertised differently as this is a very specific interest that less people on a broad scale are into when it comes to games.As for what they do sell, they undoubtedly have a fine selection of products.

Went in to place a pre-order for a booster box and thought the employee was actually helping me but come to find out he didnt put me down for the pre-order and they sold out almost immediately. Theyre always changing staff every few months and obviously the new staff doesnt care about their customers.

One of the workers in the front was really short he tried to grab my toes when I beat him in a Pokémon cards game with my 15 mewtwo EX cards.

I went in to buy a premade MtG Ikoria deck, but when I got there and explained to Wyatt what I needed to do, he went to work helping me build a custom deck on the fly and even made suggestions based on other decks I run. He was enthusiastic and genuinely cared about helping me build the best deck possible! Between the employees and the selection, Im not going anywhere else!

Local hobby shop with loads of card games and board games. Never before heard of indie board games fill the shelves. Its all very exciting. There are 3 tables for large scale mini figure games, and an array of other tables for card games. I will be visiting again soon.

Good game shop! The Folks behind the counter are always kinda and trying to be helpful. A good selection of board games, but magic and WH40K seem to be the more popular attractions for this store. Always a group spacing out around the counter to talk about magic when i go in there!

Decent card shop. Not good for trade ins. Dont really know why they sell video games. Good 40k collection. Worker tried to talk up my bf about games but he doesnt play any which was funny because I tried to tell him I use to work at a card shop and have played mtg and war hammer but he seemed disinterested. He also moved my card boxes away from me, like they werent mine and walked away with my cards while roughly shuffling through the several times, which wasnt cool. Also, a but disorganized not terribly so but a large amount of 40k wasnt with the other 40k stuff. The really well painted models were poorly displayed in back cabinets which is unfortunate.

Not your typical used games & consoles store, not at all. ToG is a board game store, a card game store, a role playing game store, etc. Its a lot of things and video games are just a very small part of it.The video games isle is just one isle and across from it at one of their glass counters you can find some consoles. Most of the games you find there are current ones. By current, PS4, XBox-1, PS3, XBox 360 and some others, however much less after that.While the video game selection isnt the greatest, Ive found the prices more than fair. For example on my last visit I found a copy of Starfox64 for the N64 at $13.99. Thats about half what its going for on eBay and other local video game re-sellers. Theres definitely deals to be found here and I suspect there always will be since video games arent their core business.You can find Tower of Games on Indian River Road across from the Acredale shopping center and behind the Chick-fil-A.

Great place for table top war games and card games such as magic the gathering. They also have a good selection of off the wall board games that you wouldnt normally see at mainstream stores such as Walmart or Target

Mix customer service, and very over priced on cards. Im all for supporting your local, but not when they are charging $21 bucks for a $12 card. Happens more often then I would like.

A lot of D&D-type games and accessories. Not my thing, went there looking for something else. Staff was friendly and it looked to me to be well equipped with game supplies and some nice tables for this type of gaming. If youre into this genre, its worth checking out.

The hidden gem of Virginia beach. This place is great place to find the random to specific peaces to your new or old campaigns. I enjoy coming here to see what novelity I can add to my gamers worlds. My duaghter also enjoys coming here to see what she might find in the stacks of miniatures. If your new to the world of D&D you may find that the world can be more immersive than you are aware of. Tower of games is a little of a drive for me but they have everything you would need for tabletop gaming. I go mostly for board games and they have a nice variety. Its not the biggest store, but thats because its mostly dedicated to having events in half of the front and back rooms. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. They made me feel very welcome which I appreciated immensely. I will be going back to this place whenever I can.

Cool place. Lots of different games and tons of room to play. They have a bunch of tables, a few up front and more in the back. I would recommend to anyone looking for a gaming store. I will be going there again.

Tower of games is a very good Local Friendly Gaming Store. They carry just about every style of gaming imaginable, and they also have several rooms dedicated to different styles of gaming, and they are constantly running events for players. The staff has generally always been helpful with any questions that I have had, and there is always a number of sales going on. That being said, their prices cannot compete with most online stores including Amazon. You may shy a little bit away from their MSRP board games especially.

Used this place first as a dice shop then meeting place for a d&d group. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. The product selection is great and varied.Snack selection is good with a reward system for purchases of snacks and other items. They also have a good hygiene policy that some other store lack.

Recommended for first timers and veterans.Edit: their social media team is awesome too. I bombard them with questions and they answer them clearly and in a timely matter. Had a lot of different games and experiences. Good hours, small parking lot for the size and customer base, (unless it had a hidden lot in the back.) Very organized card selection but seemed small. Depending on the day, the barkeep would be helpful or not interested at all, but someone would usually at least day hello or goodbye to entering/departing customers. Play area seemed the biggest of the stores Ive seen, and well spaced and lit.. (and clean).Id go back again.

Playing DND here was amazing. There are plenty of tables, the staff were welcoming and kind, and the other patrons were fun and inclusive. Their selection of items for sale is extensive, and the staff is knowledgeable and patient when answering questions or giving advice. I love this place and will definitely be back.

Was there for the first time this past weekend (11/2/19) for a Warhammer 40k event. Staff was great, tables and terrain were awesome, plenty of space to set my stuff and room between tables. I never bumped into any of the other players. Large selection of products and snacks.

I went there to look for games and they had a lot of popular games. The store was really cool! There were gaming tables in the back. Lots of space.

Great place to get Magic the Gathering cards and play with friends. They have a room you can use to play games, and you can play any games. A group of friends and I bought Cards Against Humanity and played there. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed and a great place to hang out with friends. The verity of items they have is great, you can really find anything there.

Just such a welcoming and open game shop, I love coming even if I dont always have something in mind to buy.

My girlfriend, kids, and I went there to check it out during vacation. Awesome place with a descent selection of board games. More geared towards magic and war hammer types but there were a good selection. We had to ask the staff about some of the board games and how they worked (since we are new to this stuff) and there was someone there to answer our questions, even though the store was busy. The employees were professional, courteous, and didnt make us feel out of place. We bought Betrayal at House On The Hill, Munchkins: zombies, and some Legos for our boy. Very awesome store. Good job guys and thanks for all the help. Cant praise them enough.P.S. the board games described are awesome and definitely worth checking out.

Great place to buy and play games, holds board game nights 2 days a week. The staff is friendly, the building itself is nice. The location is tucked away but still easily accessible. That combined with the friendly atmosphere inside gives the place a cozy vibe.
