Today was my first experience here (9am), as a plant mom I was immediately excited when I noticed plants & flowers as soon as you walk in. Very clean, quiet & if you’re vegan/plant/Vegetarian they have options for us 😃. I really enjoyed my experience bc it wasn’t busy (introvert here) literally no lines, clean, the staff didn’t mind directing me to where something was. Highly recommend this place for your fresh veggies but they pretty much have everything from food to detergent (even wine).

I loved it. We have shopped here off and on for decades. Its definitely an upper end supermarket with a great selection of items not normally carried by the average supermarket. Many items are baked/prepared in store and first class, and its a very pleasant experience with knowledgeable and pleasant staff. However, it is expensive compared to other supermarkets, so we tend to patronize the store when we cant find something at the other bigger retailers. They definitely have a niche though. Recommended.

Who makes the chicken salad??? I have a gift for them...I bought a pound today and I got 4 free croissants. It is so so good.. !!!! Great seafood selection! Staff is generally pleasant!

Usually the meat is fresh, not so much today, the filets looked a little dark, meaning its been out for a while. But over all, a good store.

I love this Fresh Market. The employees are so helpful. Especially the Deli employees. They are best! I don’t come to this Fresh Market very often because I live closer to the Town Center location but whenever I’m in Hilltop area I stop in the Fresh Dawgs Market here because the customer service is top notch.

My wife called inquiring about kiss melons the employee said youre in luck we have five and put them aside. When I showed up to pick up the staff member whom my wife spoke with brought me to a basket with five rotten melons and walked away.

Whenever I want to cook a special meal for my husband I always go to the Fresh Market. They have wonderful seafood and rolls as well as beautiful meats.

I know this may sound crazy but...this is a very SEXY grocery store! Its super clean and organized and has like ambient lighting so everything looks so fresh and inviting. Its a tad bit pricey..but if you are tired and dont feel like cooking this is the place for you.

One of our favorite stores to shop because I know walking in, we are consistently greeted with fresh produce, beautiful flowers, a deli that is amazing, fresh butcher/marinated/prepared protein, the bakery is so creative, and always wrapped up with a smile from the staff. Easy to pop in and out and when you sign up for the email reminders, you receive daily emails to help plan out your day. Love FM

Upscale food market. Seafood, meats, deli. Small frozen foods.Wine. They have fresh backfin crabcakes. That sold me !!They have dinner specials daily.Everything is so yummy.

Wouldn’t ever recommend working there as of 2020, however most of the employees are friendly and they have some unique items.

Drove past several stores to get produce here on Saturday, as it is normally the best. Purchased 2 containers of grape tomatoes only to find on Mothers Day morning to find over half of both containers pretty much rotten. Will have to go buy some at Harris Teeter and hope they are better.

For the health conscious shopper, this store has many choices of quality and nutritious items to help add variety to the menus and select meals.

Ordered ribs from the deli there was a problem with them. Tony the manager took care of it effectively and friendly at the same time. Donna in the deli helped my nephew (7) and was so nice to him. Overall made a not so good experience into a good one:). Will be back and the pasta salads in the deli are ssoo good!

Clean. Friendly. Good quality. Pricey. I was going to stock up on produce but the loan officer was at lunch. Yikes.

Great products. The best feature about The Fresh Market is the wonderful smell when you walk in the door! The soft lighting is another enticement for pleasant shopping. It is like no other.

High End Grocery, with lot of options for organic food . They have a great selection for food pick up, beer and wine .

Nice selection of high end foods. Very crowded. High prices. If youre looking for high quality and different food products than general supermarkets, then this is your place. But you cant do a full shopping trip here. Lots of international foods. This is just a specialty grocery store.

Normally I like coming here but today I walked out after Kevin in the Seafood section didn’t want to take the skin of my salmon. How sad that he isn’t as accommodating as the nice person that helped me out last time. The store at Pembroke has become much more customer service driven.

For those who like to cook all varieties of foods, they will have those random ingredients that your New York Times recipe calls for however, they will be 3-4 times more expensive than if you just went to the local asian/italian/latino market. They will be fancily packaged and it will look nice though.Perfect example, fish sauce! It is one of the most common ingredients in southeast asian cooking, used in spicy papaya salads, dipping sauces, pho--you name it. Watch any Bourdain from Vietnam, Laos, Thailand or Cambodia and you will see it referenced. At the Fresh Market they sell a 10 oz bottle for 20$Go to E-Mart or Grand Market down the highway a little, and you will see a million different kinds and the most expensive will be a 20 oz bottle for 2 or 3 bucks! Maayyyybe 4...There are examples of this grocery gentrification all over the store.Not to mention my wife stopped by here and when THEIR credit card terminal was slow and not working, the cashier lady gave us a dirty look and blamed it on us. We just paid cash and got the heck out.Any ethnic market, or even trader joes, Whole Foods or Wegmans would be a better choice.

Fresh Market is a great food market. Their 4 meals for 20 dollars is an incredible deal. They do an exceptional job curating the store and have made a lot of very smart decisions on products. Fantastic meat counter. Fantastic cheese selection.

If youre looking for food or products that are more all natural organic definitely the place you want to go. Im really good selection of a large variety of different foods definitely has a higher price tag however it makes sense to you to the food being a better quality than what you typically would get at most grocery stores or at Walmart. Parking lot here was fine not many issues theres also a bathroom which was very well needed at a certain point. They didnt have actually what we went and what we were looking for as many places dont have a good seafood department so however we were able to find what we needed at a different grocery store nearby.

. Decided to make stuffed cabbage rolls, pork & beef - all meats are so fresh at Fresh Market. I find Fresh Market always a delightful shop to get outstanding items.

Always able to get in and get out. The associates are always more than willing to be of assistance.

Attempts to speak to a”live” person always results in being disconnected. Attempts were made over several days, during off-peak business hours. Very poor.

If you have the money, this is the place to go. It is a pretty cool experience to shop here, and if your craving something special or from another country, it will be here.

Store is nice but theyre not wearing any kind of face masks nor gloves, makes me worry about the hygiene in there if they cant wear one. what makes it safe for us to go in there?? i complained to them the other day by the online the preach about, then i go in the next day and theyre still not wearing a mask???? WHY????? thats dangerous even to our health. Them breathing on our clothes and such... i feel violated but i like this story, but one star for their hygiene. that does it in for me wanting to go in there.

I love the snooty air of this place.. they also have great flowers, baked goods, my favorite butcher, and a large selection of craft beer and wine. Its also fun to have the staff and patrons give me those you dont really belong here glances.

As I mentioned in my review of the other location, near REI, I love browsing in The Fresh Market and cant pass up a chance to shop inside when Im in Hilltop already.Their fresh fruits and veggies are always of the best quality and I love to get raspberries, blueberries and strawberries here. The deli areas cant be beat and you can get some pre-prepped items to cook for dinner here where they already did all the hard stuff for you. Fresh fish and meats are amazing and the pastries make me drool every single time.I always come through this or the other location to purchase snack items like sesame seeds, dried fruits and trail mix for long flights.Beautiful fresh flowers here and theyll arrange them for you as long as the gals in that section are still there for the day. You pick the flowers and vase and browse for a few minutes and theyll do a free arrangement for you.

Always find such wonderful options and fair price. Employees are so kind and helpful. Great place to grab fresh meats and unique ingredients and a dinner ready to go!

Went in just a few items. No soy yogurt at all! Everything else-almond, cashew, coconut, but no soy. Found plenty of soy at Kroger. Selection of granola is small, but lots of coffee beans (I dont drink coffee). Store has a nice layout, cashier was very nice.

I do not hate this local store nor their employees. I hate that corporate decided to raise the price on ground chuck. It went up a dollar a pound. They are promoting that it is now $3.99 a pound every day of the week . However, they used to run specials on Tuesdays when it was only $2.99 a pound. They also used to run a chicken breast on special on Tuesdays and that no longer exist either. They need to go back to one day a week where ground chuck is $2.99 a pound. In fact it would be great if it was even less since I can shop at the military commissary and buy ground beef for $1.89 a pound. I actually have to pass the military commissary to go to the store which I will no longer do. They just lost a customer. And besides every time I was there I always purchase some other things to go with it. Not anymore. Corporate you did a stupid thing.

The atmosphere is genuinely refreshing as does the food and staff. Its a place where you can stop to get a quick bite, or take home. I would say, it has live up to its name. However, theres one item that I would love to see they brought back - the blueberry cornbread, but I guess we cant have it all, then and again why not?

I love their roasted chicken salad, 12 grain pumpernickel bread, cooked shrimp, and oak roasted salmon!

I find myself coming here less and less. Its just not the same at all since they were sold. The prices have shot up, especially in the prepared foods section and it seems that there are never enough staff to cover peak hours. You know something is not right when Whole Foods sells the same products for less. One very big positive is the staff. Jay is great and the cashiers, especially Pat, Ella, Charlotte and Ashley are always friendly.Too bad that greed is getting in the way of what was once a great operation.

We always get steaks and fresh seafood here. Everything is always perfect. Great customer service back in the deli and upfront.

I love the fresh market! The flowers are out of this world. The only thing I dont understand is why the bakery dose not have sheet cakes like they use to. I have called on many occasions and cant get one. I love everything in the store you sell. I cant wait until the Pembroke one

This is a perfectly good Fresh Market. Well staffed well-stocked and well-managed.

Excellent service! A guy named Robbie back in the deli section went above and beyond calling another chain store to find a special cheese for me. Took him several minutes and after spending many looking for the cheese I desired. This kind of service doesnt happen everyday, and I am grateful for diligent employees who still put customer service first.

For starters, their bakery is amazing. I had the BEST strawberry shortcake of my life from there. I shop here all the time and I love their food selection, and the atmostphere is awesome. Way better than Trader Joes!

A special place to nourish my family. Great seafood, produce, gourmet crackers and desserts. Friendly and trendy.

Smaller version of Whole Foods. Overpriced groceries but they carry something that other grocery stores dont. They used to put out free coffee samples but theyre charging us for $1 now, what a shame. I mean, if youre just putting out the about-to-expire coffee out for customers and we can taste it and have a chance to buy it, why not?
