My family has 3 cars and we have always relied on the dealerships for maintenance. This time I decided to avoid the outrageous prices of dealership repair and try a local shop. I am glad I did. Rough Road gave me excellent service at a very reasonable price. The shop has expertise both on foreign and domestic cars. They give clear explanation of service and expected cost prior to service so you can make educated decision on the job. And whatever you decide to do, they deliver exactly what you expected to be done, at even lower than the estimated price. So, forget the dealership. I will be sticking with these guys for all my auto service needs in the future.

UNFORTUNATELY AUSTIN HAS SOLD ROUGH ROAD. At this time the new owners retained one of Austins mechanics . Hes a good mechanic so that is a plus. I have only met the owner informally once. I cannot vouch for his ownership or can I un-vouch (new word😜) how he runs the business. The new owner is expanding his business and made Austin an offer he couldnt refuse.😵 I would encourage you to give the new owners chance. I dont know how good they will be at prefabrication so thats up in the air. But I will say that I will give them a chance to gain equal trust... I hate looking for new mechanics. Im keeping my fingers crossed. If the new owners keep Austins old mechanic then I think Rough Road will do well.As for Austin, hes still a great mechanic and fabricator and a great guy. Im sure he still works on his vehicles on the weekends when necessary but he has decided to change directions. I am not at liberty to say what direction he is changing toward. But if he is half as good in the field he has chosen that he was in the automotive industry hes going to do great things. I wish Rough Road Auto all the best and I will be seeing you soon

I called last minute to see if some work could be done on my car, Kevin had answered the phone and he was able to fit me in automatically and did the work on my car in record time and I am extremely satisfied with the service provided and I will always recommend Rough Road Auto and the new owner Kevin is phenomenal I will always be a returning customer.

Austin is what I would call an honest mechanic...and yes, they still exist. He replaced my obsolete alarm system after I had put it off for too long, and then swapped out my starter when it left me stranded at work after a long shift. Austin, Cory, and the rest of the team at Rough Road work fast, putting in good workmanship for a fair price while being just good people. I look forward to having them do more work on my truck in the future for performance rather than necessity, but know I can rely on them regardless!

My wife and I have been taking our cars to Austin at Rough Road for years, and hes awesome! We had a 2003 Toyota Matrix, and currently have a 2005 Mazda and a 2015 Mercedes CLA. He is always honest, and WAY less expensive than other auto mechanics. He always gives us choices so we can make the best decision, and never tries to push us into anything. We HIGHLY recommend him for ANY car maintenance or car problems, not just off road or desert vehicles. Its difficult to find an honest auto mechanic, but youll never need to look for another one after coming to Rough Road.

I have used Rough Road Auto several times for both my personal and company vehicles. There is no better shop anywhere. I use them for big jobs as well as routine maintenance. Austin, the Owner, has an exceptional knowledge of vehicle mechanics as does his team. Not only can they fix problems that most mechanics cant they will usually be able to fix it faster and they will do it right the first time without selling you on crap you dont need.
