I will not be returning to this establishment, due to the fact they have very poor customer service, they are very unprofessional and disrespectful. I called the store ahead of time if they had a certain item in stock the woman who answered said there was plenty in stock. I asked if she could put two of them on hold for me while I got there (I drove a long distance) as soon as I got to the store they had only one left in the whole store. I asked an employee and she was confused and wasn’t able to help much. The person that picked up should be held accountable for misleading. I was able to get at least a discount from the store manger for the inconvenience but the cashier ringing me up kept questioning why I was getting a discount and for what. She tossed my items and was very dismissive. Terrible experience will not be returning, cashiers name is Maria.

Very rude cashiers. I lost my wallet while shopping here. I went thru checkstand 4 paid for my items then when i got to my car I noticed i didnt have my wallet with me. I went back inside asked the cashier at checkstand 4 if someone had turned in my wallet she replied Dont ask me ask the checker on #6 Well reason I asked her was because I went thru 4 not 6. Lady checker at 6 said she didnt know nothing either. I asked if they had a lost and found and got no response and also no eye contact. Like what kind of customer service is that? No lost and found they just said I dont know ask her. They didnt even bother to take down my number incase someone later turned it in. I dont care about the money but i had my real I.D. in my wallet. Very bad cashiers at your store. Date of incident is 8-3-21 time approximately 11:30am cashiers working 4 & 6 need to be retrained.

Has an average array of products. Some organic produce and products are available here for good prices! Medicines are way overpriced though. Unfortunately this store has a foul odor, and during rushes they are slow to open registers.

Manager Cameron is a VERY disrespectful person. Doesnt greet customers at all. He was at the register scanning items and throws them all over the place. He scanned items from two different persons and when the lady told him that one of the items didnt belong to her but to the person behind her, he just flipped out and said: YOU PEOPLE JUST SAY SOMETHING AND dont wait until I scan them. I was like WOW! Anyways, this guy Cameron needs better customer service training.

Never ever adequately staffed. Come here if you want to wait in long lines with 2 of ten checkout lanes open. Also, no deli. What grocery store doesn’t have a deli???

This store is very well stocked, and in most cases much cheaper than Ralphs stores. I live close to a Ralphs store where prices have almost doubled over the course of this year due to lots of new housing being built. So I totally recommend this store for the prices being more reasonable and stock. It does have motorized scooters for those who need them, also ample parking. However you must bag your own groceries so be prepared for that. They do have bags for purchase. For those who have disabilities or those who are not tall, I recommend taking a grabber to help with higher placed items. Just like Ralphs, they do have managers specials, especially in meat, deli and bakery items. Well worth taking your time to check those out. I saved a bundle on meat that way. Also this is a warehouse store so it is very large. They carry bulk sizing on products as well and their pricing rivals Costco! There are certain items that might not be as cheap as Ralphs but they are few and far between. Well worth your time to explore this store!

Wouldve given a 5 stars. They need to open up more registers. If you think of it, its a win win situation. More customer count for every hour for your store and for us, itll be a better experience, in & out!Store appearance: always organized & clean. Been coming here for years. Jessica, a cashier there, is wonderful. She always makes sure I found everything I wanted. She always has a good attitude and is delightful to talk to. Produce is really good as well, better then the Vista Vons for sure. Also they play good music!

Its a good place to shop. Sometimes they have really nice sales and its usually a quick checkout time. Its pretty much the go to place for my family considering the price and location. A good variety of items, always stocked, ans not crowded. Pretty high up there for groceries if you live near.

Pay your essential workers like they’re essential. They’re working through a pandemic and putting their health at risk. While they themselves or they have family that are immunocompromised. The hoards of panic buyers have generated Food 4 Less millions of dollars in a matter of seconds across your stores. Y’all have enough to pay your workers time and a half during these times.

It was about 8:30 and grocery shopping was not what I wanted to be doing, but a must, frustrated because I couldnt find help by the meat section, long lines, and only 3 open this late, I asked a cashier if another line could be open and the answer was no. lines kept getting longer and the Manager noticed and when she was done checking out people in the express line she opened it up and called me up, I then explained my frustration at the meet section with pricing assistance and she nicely matched the price to that of a similar item I was buying. I then explain I had brought this one item up to the register so she could charge me for it as days back a cashier had missed to charge me for it and I didnt notice it until later on when I had already left the store, there was nothing she could do now she said and she thanked me for mentioning it. Then, after I had paid and I was baging my groceries she gave me 2 free bags when she noticed I wasnt going to have enough with the ones I had purchased. I had a really great experience tonight again!👍🏼😁

This has been my neighborhood grocery since 2008. Theyve had great deals on avocados and Ive rarely had a bad one. Its where I discovered that the best chicken nuggets or strips are Foster Farms and Food 4 Less always has the best deal on them. The spicy chicken strips are awesome. I like the Wells Fargo that inside the store and that they are open weekends. I like the staff and many of the checkout clerks are friendly, some are funny, and some are pretty. Its usually clean and is very easy to get in and out of the parking lot, and easily accessible directly off of the 78 freeway from 2 different exits.

First time coming to this Food 4less... glad I did. Saw the prettiest and cutest manager from Escondido here in Vista. Looking good mija... 😉

Teresa H(cashier) should be re-trained. Be courteous to everyone. The store is not yours or giving anyone anything for free so dont act as youre paying. The way of payment is not your business either.

This place is pretty close to our house. If we need creamer or eggs, we come here. Never, ever buy baked goods made in their store. We once bought fudge brownie from this place for my wife. Ive never been so sick in my life. The only similar thing we ate that night was the brownie, and I only had one bite. Was violently sick throughout the entire next day. Almost went to the hospital. So yeah; dont but baked goods but anything like creamer or eggs and your good to go.

Love its my go to place good prices and good food. I missed giving a last star because its always packed. Not enough lines open. But the staff is amazing

Ive been coming to food 4 less for the last 12+ years the prices are reasonable and the staff members are most helpful. The best thing is they sell beer till 12:00 midnight when they close at midnight,,,, not crowded at all at 10:30-12:00 !!! And thats A BIG PLUS in my books.... 😂

While the location is great, right off the freeway at 78 and Vista Village Drive, the design is flawed.Traffic pulling into the strip mall comes in right in front of the entrance to Food 4 Less, creating a backlog of cars waiting for shoppers to go into and out of the store.They need more cashiers. Half the time theres only a few lanes open. You know its bad when theres a long line at the 15 items or less express lane.

There was a large selection of products, food and otherwise, marked lower than the average grocery store. I liked that I could find more ethnic food than my regular store, cheaper too. The produce selection was excellent, however some of the fruit spoiled quickly but that could have been my fault for choosing well ripened fruit. Overall I was very pleased.

One of my best place to shop. Always get a good deal when I go there. The meat is excellent.

I usually find my every day items so much cheaper than any other grocery store. I feel I get much more for my money in one trip than to have to keep running back and so with that it saves me time as well.

Always a pleasure shopping there. Only problem, not enough registers open between 9 a.m., to 10 a.m. This is the most heavy traffic I believe when you have early shoppers!

The Fresh Vegetable and Fruit department does not have a good variety. They have items that are high price but not Eye pleasing and already or about to turn. Not too Fresh.

You cant sell food for less with only two clerks working. Every time you shop here, expect to spend 10 minutes waiting in line to checkout. This place makes you bag your own groceries, but cant invest in self serve checkout? Im lost?

Store is usually full on Sunday and Monday nights so I avoid it those days otherwise just another grocery store. No issues with freshness fruit is always looking and tasting good.

Would have been a 5 but the 2 ladys running separate 15 Items or Less lanes did not have any customers. They got upset when my husband and I went to check out at one because we had approximately 20 plus items.We would have not gotten in their lane if they both had customers but there wasnt any and no one came the whole time we checked out.One of the ladys seemed to making a big deal out of nothing at all. They were getting paid to work and help customers but one of the seemed to try and get out of work any way she could.Funny thing is; my in-laws happen to know one of the managers.

This place is always crowded. They have very good prices on everything. The produce isnt always choice but they dont run out of onions and chilies.The Wells Fargo branch inside of the store is open on Sundays.

Lots of food items other stores in the area may not have. But there must be alot of theft there because loss prevention kept following me. I hate when they do that because I feel stereotyped.

Went there for a cake for fathers day, i found a chocolate cake, i asked a guy from the deli if he could put a message on the cake and he said that all he could do was to give me a few props for the cake and i would have to Buy The icing and do it my self! They have some good priced stuff comparable to most known supermarkets or better. I chk there weekly ad in some cases I find an item I usually buy from a competitor at an even a lower cost.

Went early morning, store is clean, fresh meat was fresh and well stock, people friendlyand prices are reasonable. I dont go often, but when I do I feel important.

Fast checkouts, theres always a cashier opened for the 15 items or less line which is good for me.

Everything are cheaper. Lot of fresh products, cheaper too. More selections than most grocery stores. Closed at midnight.

I used to love Food 4 Less, no matter what county I was living in I would always go out of my way to shop there. The last 3 years I was (I thought) unlucky to not live Within an hour of my ex favorite store. Now I see that I was in fact not missing anything. In just three years it seems that Food 4 Less has drastically changed. The prices of every single thing I went in there to buy had gone way up. What I used to consider a discount store is now more expensive than Vons, Albertsons, even sprouts etc. Their hair and makeup Department has shrunk down to probably 15% of what it was. I am so disappointed. And I will not bother shopping or even looking in that store ever again.

Awesome grocery store! The prices are fantastic and the quality is generally very good. Sometimes you want to be sure to check dates on things like eggs and milk or packaged veggies, but it is all usually just fine. The staff is quite friendly! One time I was looking at prickly pears but wasnt sure if I wanted to get them since Id never tried them before. I asked an employee (sadly dont know her name) if she had had them and if she liked them. She said she had not but she took one off the shelf and cut it open for me and let me try it! Talk about great customer service! (I didnt care for the prickly pear btw haha). They arent exactly a health for store by any means but you can get the good basics here, and you can always load up on the fruits and vegetables for a good price. Good selections of alcohols as well as home-goods and toiletries. They also have a couple of ATMs to use, a Coinstar, and a bank.
