Great place to have your car serviced. If you drop it off in the morning, you will have your car done by noon, if they aren’t busy. Great people and customer service ! ❤️

We absolutely love these guys. I started using them when I was single and they always treated me so respectfully, were prompt and trustworthy. As a lady who doesn’t know much about cars, that sure did mean a lot. Then I introduced my now husband to them, and we won’t have anyone else work on our vehicles. We trust them completely and they do amazing work. They get to know you, they care about our family and they try to work around our schedule with kids etc. on repairs.

I had a genuinely great experience with this shop. I had to have my car towed here because it was the closest and most convenient. Leslie and Chad were super nice and even replaced an extra part on my car for free. I would definitely recommend.

I unfortunately did not have a good experience with these guys. I was grateful, they let me drop my car off and swing by at lunch to pick it up, but they didn’t inform me of any of the prices before hand and it was not cheap. They seem like nice people, but I definitely will not be going back.

Typically starting your morning at the mechanic’s shop is no good. Which is why I come to Certified Auto on Wooded Acres. I thought my starter was going out but Chad and the team found it was just the battery. I needed an oil change too so they are doing both and I’m out of here in under an hour. I get asked regularly where people should take their car for repairs in Waco. There are several good places with honest people, but my answer is always Certified Auto. Go see Chad. He’s family for me and he’ll take care of you too.

I needed work on my air conditioner. I really thought it was going to be a compressor replacement and would be expensive. I had to have work on it the previous year and it had stopped cooling. They evaluated it and said couldn’t find anything wrong except it needed refrigerant. I told them it must have a leak and was told they used the detector and couldn’t find a leak but they put a color in the refrigerant so we could find the leak if there is one. When they test drove the truck they noticed a rattle in the front end and asked if I wanted that fixed. I had noticed the rattle and intended to mention it to them but forgot. They also changed the oil and did my safety inspection. Very reasonably priced, no pressure shop. I am always leary because I know very little about the mechanics of cars and we had just moved to Waco. Recommend highly.

These people are WONDERFUL! They are honest and prices are reasonable. They are friendly, look at your care, find out whats wrong, AND fix it in a timely manner. They will have my service for a very long time!

Leslie was extremely nice, and couldnt have been more helpful. I had to talk to him from across the country to have a look at my moms car. I will continue to have my mom go there for all her car needs.

Dont remember the purpose of the visit . The place is a fairly modern shop with four bays and a comfortable waiting area. Good to get to and off the busiest streets

This is the only place in Waco I trust. They have an attitude that I would summarize as: “if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it, and don’t lie about it.”My check engine light is on, and I’m headed here tomorrow morning. Wouldn’t recommend anywhere else!

I never leave reviews, but felt like I really needed to for Certified Auto. I was new to Waco when my car broke down and they were the only shop that answered when I called around town. Leslie and his entire time were so helpful; they explained the issue(s) with my car without belittling me, were patient when I didnt understand how the repairs would work, gave fair estimates, and called with each update and recommendation before they acted on anything. I loved my experience so much that when my car broke down AGAIN (unrelated to their great work), I immediately took it to them. Leslie explained they werent an appropriate shop for the repair, but referred me to a machinist in the area, and called ahead so they knew to expect me. Before I left, he even showed me what went wrong (my spark plug burst, I think?) and dismantled a portion of it, free of charge, so Id be safe to drive it to another shop. I cant thank this place enough. It was overwhelming to move to a new city, but add car issues on top of it and I was so stressed--these men were courteous, so helpful, kind, and made me feel extremely comforted. Ill never take my car anywhere else for as long as Im in Waco!

This place is absolutely phenomenal!! The last honest mechanic in central texas. Dont even think about going anywhere else especially a dealership. This crew of mechanics will be cheaper and wont rip you off and their workmanship is impeccable.

We had engine trouble while in town for business. These guys got us in and out in no time. Great customer service!

I called the shop in a panic because my car battery / alternator needed to be replaced and had the last bit of juice to make it to a repair shop before it died again. I arrived minutes before closing and the owner was so incredibly kind, he even offered to give me a ride home in case I didnt have one. They called me in the morning to let me know what they were going to work on before they proceeded and had it ready by noon. Standard pricing of about 20-25% markup on the product and $45 for labor. The shop is located in a pretty good area, I felt safe going by myself unlike some other sketchy shops around town.The only concern was they left my car outside by the road with the window down and the keys inside until I got there to pick it up. I would recommend rolling all the car windows up and keeping all the keys inside the office color tagged or in marked bags for safety and customers peace of mind.

They were amazing. Had an emergency and they took my car right in and fixed it. Did not have a ride and they took me home and then came and got me when my car was ready, they were a lifesaver for me today.
