I couldn’t have had a better car buying experience. Our salesman, Ethan Johnson, was attentive, knowledgeable, and sincere. I appreciated his mild-mannered approach that allowed me to navigate through the whole experience without feeling pressured. He was always ready to meet my needs, patiently answering questions and researching additional information where called for. One issue in my situation involved a little more action on his part. Bought a K5 . Love the car. Service not so much. I have a cosmetic issue with the paint and Kia refuses to fix. I cancelled the extended warranty, took a minute finance person kept pushing to keep. When I had the oil changed, they smeared grease on all my windows. Left tires at 28-29. Love car, but no service after the sale makes me regret the purchase. BTW, this is my 4th and last Kia. Yes. Ive talked to Kia and their sales manager Ty. Wasnt allowed to speak to GM, if there really is one.

I had The absolute pleasure of experiencing first-class customer service from the dealership as a whole, but most specifically with my salesman, Fernando.This is why I just came back to do business with him again. As first timers to purchasing a vehicle, we were very nervous about spending a large sum of money, but we didn’t feel pressured to purchase anything and felt that we could’ve taken our time with decision making.
The process was very simple. I knew what I needed before going in. No pressure. Cleve and Henry were helpful through the process. They responded quickly to my questions. Danny was helpful and nice while signing.
Go see Tyler Nowaski at University Kia. I had an unpleasant experience at another area Kia dealership (Dennis Eakin), left Killeen at 6:55pm, called Tyler 5 minutes before closing and told him what happened, what I was looking for. He took notes, found out how quickly I could get the car in my hands, and met me in the middle on my trade which was a good thing for both of us. Went down the next day, purchased the vehicle, and it was still being built at Kia in GA. Tyler kept me in the loop daily, called me immediately when it came in, and went down to get it. Tellurides are being marked up due to demand at every Kia dealership in TX. Eakin told me that they had the lowest markup in the region, and to go shop to see for myself. Glad I did. Would have never shopped or ended up at University until we had a disagreement on my trade at Eakin with no give. Glad I called University, they have the lowest markup, and you actually get something for the markup rather than it just being a markup. They included Weathertech Mats, along with ZurichShield. Oh, and got a call from Asst GSM Bobby, the following day after vehicle was in my hands to ask how everything was going. Thats not it, got a surprise package with a Kia branded Tumbler as well as cookies. Im in sales for my career, understand customer relationships, and most importantly RETENTION. When I seek a Kia in the future again, one place to go...University Kia.

Great if you are buying a car, not if you need to get your oil changed. I scheduled an appointment on Saturday at 3pm and they closed at 1, unbeknownst to me. I even received confirmation emails and text messages about my appointment. The Kia app scheduled me for that time, but it was not addressed correctly while I sat there for an hour waiting for a resolution. I was not even offered to reschedule my appointment. This was very disappointing. The service center is great other than that and I do not blame them.
Fastest car deal ever made but then they didnt trust us to drive the car home after paying $5000 up front on a cash by Monday deal. We had previously bought from them as well. Wow !It was really to bad our daughter had totaled her car & really needed something fast. I wont be back to buy with University Kia again.

I am a return customer. My initial experience with Oz, my friendly sales person was the decision for my return. Further, Pete, in the service department was such a happy and caring person with personality +++!! Yesterday, I drove through ice and snow and over 8 hours (one way) to trade with University Kia... Although my former friends were not there, I met Tyler, Buddy, and Freddy. All of these men were so pleasant and caring. They really made my experience a positive one. This team at University Kia are second to NONE!!Feedback on the car: This is my second Kia Stinger GT2. This car is much more quiet on the road. Further, as cold as it was, my 2018 Stinger would get cold inside the cabin-especially around the door and middle console. I am happy to say that Kia has remedied these issues, added a few other features I wanted, and now I am even more of a Stinger fan than I was previously!!

Absolutely the worst service department that I have ever been in contact with. I called the service department 4 times and was on hold 30 minutes each time before I was hung up on! I set up and appointment on line and was texted a message that they have overbooked the time slot and it could take several hours to complete any work! I have a recall that states that I should not park the car in a garage or near any other vehicle incase it catches on fire! I also have my steering linkage that sounds like its coming apart. I am debating on going to Dallas to get my Optima Hybrid worked on.
The entire experience was great! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. From the salesman to the appraiser, the finance guy and finally the general manager who also detailed my car before leaving. By the way the 21 Sorento is so much fun!!!

Found a car through Truecar at this dealership. Started discussing with the dealership about delivering the car immediately as we had been pre-approved by another lender.Salesman told me despite Truecar showing they offered delivery, this was no longer an option. Explained we would be coming to pick up the vehicle on Saturday and told them I was pre-approved and had all the paperwork but if they would rather finance the car to ensure everything worked out, that is fine.Received a call the day we were supposed to leave stating they sold the car a day earlier without even following up after a deal was struck. Had to chase the salesman for updates during the whole process.
Complete waste of time. Will not give accurate and approved trade in value. Also fail to tell you about $695 floor mats thats ate required.

I broke down in Waco on a Sunday night and have now picked up my car one month later. I absolutely have nothing but positive things to say about Waco not counting the road repair situation LOL but Oscar at Kia the best service help ever, Tow King absolutely outstanding, and Waco PD above and beyond. If you have to break down somewhere this is where you want it to happen. Its a long way from Fort Worth.

My wife and I had an awesome experience at University Kia!! This is the first time weve ever purchased a new car, we originally went to buy a pre-owned car but fell in love with the 2019 Kia Soul. It feels like a luxury car at a pre-owned price, there are so many features that come standard! Cleve Miller is THE GUY you want (tell him Rusty sent you)! He was very personable and in no way pressuring. Not only did we get an amazing car that we love, we feel like we got a great deal. The finance department was awesome as well, we were able to get a payment we could afford and choose the day we want them due. Then to top it all of a few days later we received a gift box from University Kia welcoming us to the family.
So that I can be as specific as possible and let everyone know exactly the kind of amazing job this dealership did, I will go through a list of items I believe any customer centric business should strive for and deliver on.1. Customer Care- I drove the ~90 minutes from the Austin area to do business with University Kia because they were honest and gave me the best deal. When every other dealer I had talked to in the Austin and San Antonio area was adding $3K-$6K in dealer markups, University Kia had none. Specifically, one dealer in the North Austin Area, actually told me that I was naïve for thinking that I would be able to buy a Telluride for MSRP. And just to make sure that I am 100% clear about how good this deal was in this market, University Kia also came with the same trade-in value as 2 other dealerships that I had been to in the previous two weeks.2. Dedication- Both Travis Cherry and Dannie Williams made sure that the sale got done and that I was happy with the terms and pricing. There were a couple of bumps in the road due to my lack of preparedness, but both gentlemen were up to the challenge of finding a path forward. Both men stayed past closing to make sure the deal got done, I cannot say enough about the Professionalism, Character and Dedication of both of these individuals.3. Honesty- There was no bait and switch, there was no surprise, there was no dishonesty. Both Travis and Dannie were upfront about what was being offered and simply asked if that was what I wanted or not.. There was no salesman pressure or the pressure to pay for an extended warranty at the close, simply two experienced professionals that did a great job in communicating what was being sold and seeing if it was something that I was interested in.4. Consistent Accurate Communication- Through the entire process there was consistent and accurate communication. The numbers did not change, the terms did not change, the add-ons did not change.To sum things up, I would recommend University Kia to anyone within driving distance or anyone that wants to fly to Austin drive up to Waco, buy a car and drive home. This is a premier dealership with premier people doing premier work. If my next vehicle ends up being a Kia, I will definitely make the drive once more and with any luck I will get the opportunity to do business with both Travis and Dannie again.

As we entered the University Kia showroom everyone were friendly and attentive. Previously, we had made phone contact with Sales Professional, Cleve Miller, who was locating us a manual transmission Kia LX. On our arrival, Cleve was with another customer, so he kindly took us to his office, provided us with water and a comfortable place to sit. He joined us soon and updated us on our inquiry about the car. We told him our plans had changed and we were considering an automatic transmission Kia LX. Cleve found three Kias he felt would meet our needs. We test drove one and looked at the other two in different exterior/interior colors. Loved the white Kia LX and started the purchasing process as they prepared, washed and delivered car to the front of showroom. The process was thorough and explained very well. Cleve gave us an overview of the vehicles many features and helped get our Android Auto Setup. He made sure we had the Kia Roadside Assistance number and his phone number if we had any problems come up. Tony greeted us as soon as we stepped out of our vehicle. He was friendly and courteous. We told him exactly what we wanted he was very helpful and knowledgeable. He asked what color my wife wanted then went to the lot and drove it to the door. He took her for a test drive...she loved the car. We filled out the paperwork, paid the down payment and were on our way with a new car shortly after. We worked with Dannie to purchase the hard-to-find 2021 Telluride and we had a great experience. From the first communication he sent us a personal video showing us the car coming off the truck and walked us through the details. Over email, he worked with us to answer questions and to negotiate a good deal for us, which was critical as were driving from Austin. We had a great test drive and Dannie gave us a thorough demo of the features and answered all our questions easily. The overall process was quick and we appreciated that there weren’t any hidden fees or add ons from what we had talked about over email. Great, honest dealership and salesman!
If you are in the market get a Kia...I have had wonderful experience with Kia...Dannie Williams is terrific...went over everything and even hooked up my phone to car...he was a great salesperson and I didnt feel like I was taking something I didnt want...Kia is an awesome car with little maintaince required...
