This was such a nice spot with great decorations, great staff, and great menu. I had a Drip coffee with oat milk and cream and it was delicious. I also had the spinach artichoke pastry, so good! Everything was very affordable as well. I would come here every weekend if I lived here. Definitely recommend for anyone passing by Waco Texas.
Well, we were floored! Yes, it’s a tourist trap! The name, the artificial grass (lol!) But what a wonderful trap to be in. The drip coffee and specialty latte were delicious! The apple pie cinnamon roll was amazing! The icing was light and not overly sweet. The coffee cake muffin was a bit sweet. Plenty of seating, inside and out! Great stop! Sit, drink, browse, enjoy!
I wasnt as impressed with the coffee as I thought I would be, to be honest. We stopped twice: once for the 1905 and once for a caramel latte. The caramel to me was much better but my husband preferred the 1905. The shop is worth the experience and nostalgia though. Super cute place inside and out and the customer service is top notch. 👌
Great coffee spot. Plenty of seating outside and indoors. Great sweets and coffee of coirse.
Cute place, one of our favorite stops while exploring Magnolia. The staff was super customer-service oriented. I like my coffee more stronger and my husband likes his more sweet, so he wasn’t big on the Carmel latte.Four stars simply because of the long wait time. With covid and this being a tourist spot, there were definitely some long lines.
The pantries and coffee was wonderful. We had a magical time..
Very well trained baristas, good roasts, solid vibes. Baked goods served are the best I’ve seen for the volume they do out here. Price points are very high but it’s gotta be expensive to run this place and try to make a profit so I get it.For reference, I paid $22 and change for a 12oz bag of ground coffee and a large oat milk latte. Like I said, very expensive, but I’m paying to participate with the brand and their not exactly world renowned for artisan coffee roasting so I am eyes wide open that I’m overpaying and I’m okay with that because the overall experience delivers.
Visited for the first time, and loved it! The aesthetics are gorgeous (as expected) and there is plenty of space and seating. They managed the line very well and kept it from being too crowded inside. However, since this is such a busy place, dont expect to come here and grab a quick coffee if you only have a few minutes. The outdoor sitting area is lovely and has more than enough seating for all who do not find a seat inside.
Definately NOT worth the hype. Menu items are way over priced for the quality and size. Chi tea latte was good but coffee was nothing to write home about. Magnolia has taken away all parking and put in a baseball field and other little retail shops that are not worth going to.
Totally lived up to the hype! My wife is a big Magnolia fan and has been following Chip & Jo for some time now. I brought her to Waco for her birthday and we have absolutely loved it. More specifically, the coffee shop is awesome! Great lattes and cold brew, I also appreciate that they keep it clean in the shop. I’ve seen a couple reviews saying the 1905 latte is too sweet; because it’s a latte with two different syrup flavors in it I assumed it would be sweet so if you just ask for half sweet it’s perfect, that’s what I did! Well done Magnolia!
Good coffee and treats. Clean and friendly staff. Great places to sit and visit with family and friends.
The employees there were so helpful and kind. I enjoyed walking around and seeing the items and styles that I had seen on TV. I got a lot of ideas, and relaxed. Parking was a bit of an issue, however. We had to circle the block a couple times but it was worth it.
No no no..... literally one of the most beautiful coffee shops with 2 of the best coffee machines ... but I cant decide if the baristas are untrained or the beans are yuck or both. Whatever it is, the combo is very disappointing. I tried it twice to make sure it was gross and yes, it is. Thankfully Waco has some other delicious coffee shops that are worth the stop! It is not expensive to make a good impression or a delicious coffee!
Kinda cheesey/WONDERFUL! Look, you know its comercial, but i cant help loving every aspect of this place! The Gaines have created such a cool atmosphere that really sells great quality, if a little expensive, stuff. Something for every member of the family, and really good coffee!
Decent coffee, but a little too on the nose for me
Coffee shop with pastries. As soon as I walked up to the door a greeter/usher met me with a warm welcome. I order the 1905 hot with oat milk very delicious. My wife had the iced option with almond milk she enjoyed hers as well. There are at least 3 options for non dairy customers (soy, almond, and, oat milk) There may have been a 4th option but Im not 100% sure.
Good coffee here. The staff is pretty cool.
1905 is one of the best lattes I have ever had. And the atmosphere of the markets in the silos in the bakery in the home store is relaxing and fun very family-oriented they must see if you are in the Waco area chip and Joanne on Discovery Plus and HGTV they are the owners and builders of the silos.
We try and usually get thru here every year, and love it everytime. This time was special also.. we have been to all the places Magnolia Family has put their mark on, and this one is just as good as all the rest! Down to every detail! And the Staff, Rose and her supervisor that came over and treated us like gold. Thank you for the great service. And the added touch of spending time with the #SWEETTRUCK team.
Great coffee and the employees were very kind and polite, highly recommend for anyone visiting Waco Texas its a once in a life time experience!!
Staff was awesome, and of course the scenery set the right tone. This is a good place to drop in and grab a French Vanilla Cappuccino with whipped cream on top!
Its cute, of course. We got there early so only a small line that moved very quickly. Drinks were good. We didnt sit inside but its got the charm.
Fabulous coffee! I had the toasted marshmallow and vanilla and it was delicious!
Truthfully not that impressed. Pretty average coffee but the student discount is sweet.
Stopped by on the way home from vacation. They were having some sort of event so there were alot of people. I got a vanilla iced latte. The service was very quick and the coffee was AMAZING!
Got bottled water on cute tin container 😊
The artichoke croissant is amazing and is worth coming for alone. The lattes could have been better in regards to both taste and sweetness. Overall, the price and ambience are amazing. The indoor seating and outdoor are both spacious and comfy. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Service was relatively fast and I will definitely be back again.
Had a great cup of cold brew here as well as the best coffee cake I have ever have which is hard to find good ones! Staff was super friendly as well!
Hardly any wait time. Good customer service. Apple cinnamon bun was delicious. My cream soda was lacking flavor even though it was made with sugar cane sugar. Chocolate cream filled cake was average tasting. Relaxing atmosphere. We actually found a parking spot right in front. Got a teacher discount of 15% which is helpful considering their high prices.
Lovely coffee shop. Every detail is perfect!
Do note that the line gets very long for this coffee shop. Other then that, good coffee.
Loved magnolia express! Our cappuccino was great, the service was great.. we enjoyed our experience here
Well, Thanks to this place, we found world cup cafe.. Yup, After all hype of Magnolia, we found our self made to stand out in cold before we could go inside. Then, we learn there is no real breakfast items!! no taco, breakfast sandwich etc... WHAT COFFEE HOUSE has no breakfast stuff!! come on!!! even Starbucks has breakfast sandwiches!!! So we walk out!!! 3* because it does appears to have potential..
Good coffee and pastries. Such a fun place to get a drink and snack before walking around
Beautiful place to grab coffee and relax
The Coffee Shop service and drinks themselves were excellent. BUT, there were so many students (Baylor?) hogging tables with study materials that we customers were unable to find an indoor seat. One girl had her study material and bag scattered all over an entire large table while her nose was stuck into her laptop... it would have been great seating for the sweet family with six tired and thirsty children who were right in front of us, but they had to leave with their drinks since there was no place to sit. The two of us squeezed onto the end two seats of that same table, with no attempt by the young lady to oblige us by unscattering her bag. I know Baylor is a sacred place to the Gaineses, but how about creating a spot for them to study while leaving seating for the actual paying customers/tourists?
Delish Coffee!!Went back to the silos... just to get another cup! And relax at the outside tables
AMAZING COFFEE!! I’m a student at Baylor and I love going here in my free time and with my family. The iced latte with lavender is HEAVENLY! I also highly recommend the 1905 iced, it’s perfect to try if you are visiting and want to try something unique! Honestly everything is so good!!
First time here on our way to Dallas. So cute. Well planned and decorated. Plenty of seating not only inside and outside for social distancing. Friendly staff. Good coffee and pastry options (small).
The 1905 iced latte was ABSOLUTELY delicious that I had two! Thankfully they were offering the cupcakes from Silos Bakery and boy were they delicious. Best coffee and cupcakes Ive ever had and cannot wait to come back. Staff were super friendly and always smiling. The building itself is styled so perfectly and absolutely love the exterior color of the building!
As expected, it’s gorgeous. great service & friendly people. the drinks are extremely subpar. my husband ordered a decaf latte & got a caffeolé - if you don’t offer decaf espresso, just say so & we’d change our order!I ordered a green passion tea & it tastes like flower water. I have never had a drink that is so floral-tasting.if you are a coffee fan, i’d probably skip this shop & just enjoy everything else they have to offer 👏🏻
The staff was exceedingly nice and the shop impeccably clean, in spite of some patrons not wearing their masks.
Everything is bright & shiny and new. Very classy coffee shop.
Magnolia Press definitely lives up to its name. When you walk in the atmosphere is perfect whether you are simply there to enjoy an afternoon coffee or get lot of work done. The natural lighting adds to the perfect vibes as well. Their coffee is very well priced, much cheaper than Starbucks might I add. They also have magnificent spinach and cheese croissant. Overall, I would give Magnolia press 5 stars because of its atmosphere, prices, and quality of coffee and food.
This entire area is so well run. Plenty of good eats and shopping for all interest levels. Great play area for the kids.
Best vanilla cappuccino (and Im born and raised in Europe) I ever had. Tastefully done interior.
Super cute! Just what you’d expect of something by Magnolia
Beautiful coffee shop.
We arrived on a rainy drizzly Drury day and the crowds were still significant... and now I see why what an exceptional place top quality top-notch excellent staff great food great coffee great attractions simply a not to be missed feature worth the drive
Kid-friendly options! Hot cocoa and apple cider steamer. The pastries were also a nice treat.
I had a vanilla latte. It was delicious! Staff was very friendly.
What a great way to start off our day!!
