Some items are available by order while others are ready in-store, but the folks working are super helpful with making affordable & thoughtful recommendations. Shop deals with mostly refurbished used bikes, all fixed & maintained in-store. Sustainable, reliable, and locally-sourced service at this shop. Dollars spent here remain in the community :)

Great selection of both bicycle and beach gear! Cool hats, shirts, and other apparel. Also a good selection of stickers/decals, shells, necklaces... Too much to mention. Plus, very friendly customer service! Do yourself a favor and stop by!

Surf 🏄‍♀️ 🏄 and bike 🚲 shop with a super friendly and helpful owner who goes out of his way to make sure you are happy. Specially:He let the boys pick out their own boards and then come back and trade them for different boards when they wanted to try something else.Suggested local beaches and instructor/lessons that were available, but wasn’t pushy.Made sure that the boards fit into the minivan and showed us how to stack them to protect the car and fins.Had very reasonable, posted prices.Made sure he was open on a holiday (day our flight was) so that we could maximize our surfing time, which we so appreciated, Mahalo!Gave us location and parking tips for surfing at Waikiki.

Since we found this shop a couple of years ago, we make it a point to stop in every time we are on the island.LOADS of aloha as soon as you step foot into the shop.The owner is top notch. We have never been in the shop when he wasnt there, and hes the one who always helps us out. Doesnt matter if youre a local or a tourist, he happily takes the time to answer any and all of your questions.Not that it really matters to us, but his prices are the best weve found on the island. (Even if he was higher, wed still be shopping there.)Its one of those few places where you leave feeling happier than when you walked in, no matter how much you spend.

I needed some fins. The staff was awesome. Very knowledgeable and got me into what are the best fins I think I have ever had.

Had a great experience at Hale Nalu Jan 2016. Rented a mountain bike to ride around the North End of the Island for a week at what I thought was an incredible price. Also rented snorkeling gear at almost half the price of the other shop in Waianae. Thanks.
