Had a great time with underwater Oahu!Good gear, fun and competent crew!I felt very safe and they took us to two great dive locations.I highly recommend! Next time I am in Oahu I will dive with this outfit.Also there are great beached near the marina, where they are based that are quiet and not crowded. Good break from the crowds of Waikiki and the North shore.Also check out the “beach house 604” for a good bite to eat and a cold one after the dive👍🍻

Our family of 6 (including our 10 year old grandson, recently certified as a junior open water diver and our just certified daughter-in-law) took a 2 tank boat dive with Underwater Oahu. AJ and Ashley were great and very patient with our new divers. They pointed out some wonderful marine life and took them through some easy swim throughs. While the reefs were somewhat disappointing (we dive mostly in Cozumel so maybe its not a fair comparison), those 2 made the dives great.

Amazing. If you want an authentic, fun, and safe experience open water diving, Underwater Oahu is the way to go.We came out for an introductory dive. We did two different dives with Mike. The first was a wreckage, the second was a reef. Mike was professional and gave a brief over view of the equipment. He stayed by our sides the entire time and let us dive at our own pace. The dive was so much fun that we came back for our open ocean certification.We signed up and were assigned Bart as our Instructor! We spent the first lesson in his pool where he went over several different exercises. Then we did 2 walk in dives at Electric beach. The last day of the course we did two dives in open ocean. Bart was professional, knowledgable, and encouraging. He repeated exercises until my husband and I were comfortable with performing them. He took us through a cavern tunnel, and showed us octopuses, turtles, and various other marine life. I left his class feeling confident in my abilities as a diver and excited to continue my diving adventures!We saw something cool and new on all 6 dives, and we heard Whales while at electric beach then saw them the next day.Underwater Oahu is military friendly. All of their employees are professional and SME in Diving. Its an authentic diving experience.

My husband and I scheduled with Underwater Oahu for our first scuba experience and also first trip to Hawaii. Being a small company attracted us because we werent eager to jump in with a large group of first-timers. Mike explained the basics well and took us out on the boat and we practiced skills just below the surface before descending the line to catch a glimpse of beautiful coral, a couple of sea turtles, an octopus and many tropical fish. We visited 2 separate dive sites during our 90 minutes.

Underwater Oahu team is extremely professional and well experienced. My husband and i are first time divers and we had never swim in open waters. Mike and Mark our Scuba instructors were very patient with us and made us feel comfortable. We tried scuba scooter dive with the other entity. They were feeding fishes in the ocean just to get few pics. This is not the case with this team. They are very respectful towards the Ocean. Overall Scuba diving experience with Underwater Oahu was great. If you want have a good relaxed authentic scuba dive experience I highly recommend this team.

We are a family of four, we came from Calgary to do our open water dives. Michael took us to some amazing places. Both our beach entry and our boat entry dives were in really nice places where there was a variety of fish and cool coral. Michael led us around looking at really awesome stuff and we would stop every now and then to do the requirements to get our open water dive certification. He led us to a really cool water pipe where the water was warm and there were lots of fish inches from our faces.

Had the privilege of diving with Travis of Underwater Oahu four times this week. What a fantastic experience. The dive shop staff have been top-notch with customer service, knowledge and skill. Travis in particular was the best dive master weve ever dove with. Cannot recommend this dive shop enough.

Hands down, the best dive charter company not only on the island, but in the state. They take safety very serious, no short cuts, but every dive is more enjoyable than the next. This company does not operate like the other cattle car companies, they are not on strict schedules, so if they take a bit longer on a reef, or on a surface interval, .... no big deal. Just sit back and enjoy the moment. Patrick is in this business for providing a safe, enjoyable, and educational experience to all his divers on each and every dive.

My dad and I had a great dive experience with AJ from Underwater Oahu at Electric Beach. It was easy to contact the shop and booking was simple. AJ was really knowledgeable and even took a few photos and a video of us underwater. Would definitely dive with them again.

This was such a positive experience. Our Divemaster, Travis, had at this point over 6500 dives and it showed in how well he knew his stuff. I have over 250 dives (I know, nothing compared to Travis) all over the world in all kinds of circumstances, from luxurious live aboards to shore diving from a pier and the service we got today’s was as good as any ever. You will do right to skip the high priced Honolulu dive shops and drive an hour west. Also, your rental gear is included with the price. Mind blown.

Such a great diving experience. We had great instruction and I felt ready and comfortable to dive safely. Highly recommend these guys!

Gday to everybody. Geoff Parker here from Melbourne, Australia. Spent a week in Honolulu recently & spent the time there diving with Parricks. We did two& sometimes three dives per day, and I dived every day I was there.My thoughts about Patricks are that they are a quite professional outfit with the care of there guests first & foremost.Coming from Melbourne where the dive scene is jump on the boat, kit up, get in the water and enjoy your self, to the care Patricks had with a dive master to lead every dive . I would certainly recommend them to any body who wants a good diving experience.

Learned how to scuba dive here and loved it! I had Patrick and Bart as instructors and always felt 100% safe and confident with what I was taught. Its a fast course but I never felt like I was rushed into a new skill too soon and loved the student discount they give on gear, super helpful. Will always reccomend.

Patrick is a great instructor. The entire staff at Patricks Diving are fantastic people! I highly recommend them!

I leared to dive from Patrick. I dont think I could have learned without him. I wasnt comfortable clearing a flooded mask but he helped me. I went on to do a PhD with a field component centered around diving in remote areas... so hes pretty great!

Unfortunately I can not give more stars because there was never a dive. Four days before my departure I was there to book a dive. The friendly employee contacted me and informed me that he unfortunately had no boat there for the next two days. So we made an appointment for the last possible date for me. I should be there at 8 a.m. Unfortunately, no employee knew anything about me that morning and so diving was unfortunately not possible on that day. After all, the very friendly staff offered me to organize an afternoon dive in Waikiki. The second star. But was too far for me and did not fit into my planning. So unfortunately I leave the island without diving ...
