So far the brakes seem to work well. Over time we will see if the job holds up, since I’m a delivery driver.It was more expensive than I would’ve liked, based on an estimate given me by a friend who knows car repair very well.I did have to wait longer to get it back than I was told to expect, but if it was to ensure the safe outcome of the repairs, it was worth it.

Needed an NC inspection, threw in oil change for good measure. My vehicle ended up failing for tires, which was not unexpected. Carl did not have the tires my car called for onsite but proceeded to find them locally, went & picked them up & installed for me ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON. Definitely above & beyond service! My 1st visit will not be my last.

Carl is amazing and so helpful, if I was the Pope I would canonize him because he is a literal living saint. I cant say enough nice things about how much he helped my situation. The customer service is unmatched. I was told by two other places that they have never seen this problem before and that it needs to be taken to the dealership. But meineke never gave up on me or my geriatric vehicle! I have never experienced such exceptional communication. They went out of their way to accommodate my work schedule, I said I would uber over when I got off to get my car. They sent someone (I believe his name was Michael) to pick me up from work!! I do not have words for how much I appreciate their hard work and determination. They are so patient, kind, helpful, honest, and thorough. This shop will go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect and that you are in the loop. Take all your car problems here!!!

My husband bought my car in, unsure what the issues were because the car was hesitating when I was starting it. Anyway, he was told that they would do diagnostic test to see what the issue was. The test is $115 and if we had them repair whatever is wrong the fee for the diagnostic test would be waived. After testing they found out it was the battery, so he had them replace the battery. They then refused to waive the diagnostic fee and instead charged him half the fee. He referred back to the original conversation and ask why the fee was not waived as that was the initial agreement. Person at the desk claimed that it was hard for them to do the test so they had to charge him half the fee. This was very upsetting, my husband paid and left because he’s a black man in this country and did not want any confrontation with the police. However, this is unfair business practices and taking advantage of a customer during a time when we’re all trying to keep a few dollars in our pockets. Needless to say we will never use them again, and will tell everyone we know not to either. We have been using this business for a while now. Yesterday was our last time.

The work was outstanding and my car drives great after they diagnosed a damaged strut, repaired it with my custom parts, and aligned the vehicle. The managers were patient and responsive and reassured me that the job would be done. They are very personable, knowledgable, and are car enthusiasts.

I had the worst experience ever! They did not know what they was talking about!!

Took truck in for AC repair, and It cost me over thousand dollars. Technician had to take apart the dashboard to get to everything. Now either the technician forgot to reconnect the cables or he loosely connected them. We were headed on trip the next day and the next morning we woke up and the truck wouldnt crank. Now we have never had an issue with the truck up til this point. This was the first major repair in over 2 years of owning the truck. We had to cancel our plans, get a jump from some nice folks, and then head back to Raleigh. The cruise control wasnt working and the lights were coming on all the way back. All of a sudden the pleasant customer service was out the door, and we had real hard time getting the owner to accept any kind of responsibility. I brought my truck in for AC repair and all of a sudden there were other issues that werent there before. They reconnected the cables, and everything eventually worked right again. Their mistake cost us a family trip, and many headaches getting the truck right again. I wont ever return to this auto repair shop.

They offered me a car to drive while my car was in the shop since my car needed to be there for a long time, they explained everything that needed to be done and made sure I was comfortable with the decision I made. They really go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service (so much so, that another customer offered Carl to talk to his son who writes and publishes Children’s books to honor and recognize their excellent customer service! Too many shops in the past seemed to recommend things to make a buck. This was the best experience I have had with Meineke. I called in advance to book a appointment they said they were booked but if I could come as soon as possible they could fit me in. I was able to arrive in 30min and they did my oil change in less than 20min on a snow day. All other places Ive taken my car took took a hour and half to get things done. They also replaced my air filter and was able to work out a deal for a great price. The mechanic greeted me with a smile and was professional. I will be coming to Raleigh shop from now on.

I went to this location for an oil change. The process of making an appointment online was seamless. When I got there, the manager named Kenneth assisted me and he was extremely sweet and helpful. I had a coupon for $10 off of an oil change and he accepted it. He gave me a rundown of their oil change process. He asked if I was leaving the car or staying and I told him leaving, so I can go to my classroom and and get some items that I need to use to teach my students virtually. About 2 hours later, he called and told me my car was ready for pick up. When I arrived, Kenneth was who assisted me with checking out. He told me my total which I was extremely shocked to hear because it was $40 cheaper than what I was told the price would be. He realized my startled face and said, “Thank you for all that you do for students. I hope you will accept this 50% off discount that I applied to your total today.” I was stunned and so happy. I am only giving 3 stars because 1. Employees didn’t wear mask, nor did they enforce customers to do so. 2. There was no windshield wiper fluid which I was told was part of the oil change. 3. The next morning, as I was sitting in line at the car wash, my check engine light came on, car started smoking, and I had to get my car towed to the repair shop across the street from this location. I wouldn’t bringing any of my cars here again, however, I appreciate the customer service that was received.

From my call to make an appointment and walking through the door Rob I think his name is was very friendly and when I walked in he greeted me with a warm welcome and addressed me by my last name. The manager I dont know his name overheard a conversation between myself and another customer and exhibited a real case of humanity towards me. It brought me to tears I am grateful to him for that. They were great! They were able to get me in the same day I called. I went to the wrong location (meineke on Jones dairy rd, wake forest) they were very rude and was pretty much irritated I was there 15 minutes before they closed. I called this location telling them about my mistake and I wasnt going to be able to make the appointment due to I was 10 min away from this location. They told me to come anyways they were able to work me in. So now I was late the manager (who I think is the manager) tag team my service so they could still leave on time and my service was fast. They informed me of everything that needed to be done and gave information on prices for the things that need to be done at the next service. Will definitely come back!

We have been taking our cars here for over a year now. Rob, at the front desk always has a smile on his face, listens to the concerns we have going on with our vehicle and relays back what the guys will do while our car is there. The service was great, very pleasant and courteous. Eric kept me informed of what needed to be done and the cost. He even had a loaner car so I could go pick up breakfast. They also didn’t overcharge me as other places have done in the past. I did find out that they perform services that I didn’t realize they did so I’ll be back to get my catalytic converters replaced!

A great shop is hard to find and this is a great shop. Very easy to work with. Top notch work that was ready when promised. Aftermarket mods that other shops didn’t want to touch; complete catback exhaust, wheel spacers & they wired-up the side mirror turn signals. They aren’t the closest shop to me, but they’re worth the drive. I’ll definitely be back... I have more mods in mind. 😎

They also noticed a rattling (that I have noticed for a while now) and took the time to find out what it was. It was a loose piece underneath. They fixed it for me at no charge. I really enjoy this Meineke and they never have done a bad job, but they are not wearing masks during the pandemic. Not requiring customers to wear masks is one thing, not wearing them yourself as a business is another.This was very disappointing for me to see. Masks can save lives (no matter what your views are on them).And Im talking about the front-desk staff. I dont care what the mechanics do behind the scenes, away from me.

On Friday September 18th, I took my wifes 2012 GMC Acadia to the Wake Forest Meineke location #1875 for a state emissions and safety inspection. The morning of we had to jump start the vehicle for reasons that were unknown to me and the check engine light was on. After it failed the inspection, I left it with them for further diagnostic. They called later and said the alternator, battery and wiper blades needed to be replaced to pass the inspection. After leaving the vehicle overnight the work was completed and went to pick it up Saturday afternoon.After paying $868.64 for the work completed, we noticed the remote start didnt function, the engine light was still on and it had a rough idle that was not there prior to service. The vehicle appeared to be in worse condition from when we dropped it off. After informing them of these issues they brought it back in then shop but with much hesitation. You would think they would eagerly say lets pull it back in to see what happened. But they initially told us if something happens over the weekend bring it back on Monday.After waiting some time, they gave us the green light and said it was fixed, which it appeared to be. On the following Monday the car wouldnt start. We brought it back and after a few hours they said it was good to go. Then on 9/24/20 while driving, it started raining and the new wiper blade came off during a rain shower. I had to take the vehicle back again making this my fourth trip to the store not including the re-inspection test that occurred on 10/3/20. During this process there was other work discussed that they didnt follow-up with me on until I had to return for the re-inspection for the emissions test. The service provided appeared to be ineffective initially and done in haste. My son was late for school due to the car not starting, I had to take off work and use my personal vacation time, and we were exposed to a major safety hazard when our windshield wiper blade came off during a rain shower.Edit from 10/13/20 at 9:23 am: Our SUV had to be jumped again this morning and is now at Meineke once again. This time they want to hold the vehicle for a few days to figure out what is going on. Still no solution after going back and forth for nearly one month.Final Update 10/20/20 - In order to leave our vehicle at their shop they needed to get us a loaner vehicle. They couldnt come up with a loaner vehicle that was comparable to ours in size because they would only stick with their one dealer and not look elsewhere in town. We wouldnt settle for something smaller since we have 3 car seats and other items that are needed daily, which is why we have this SUV. At that point I reached out to their corporate office for a third time and finally spoke with someone after a call back. After re-telling the whole story, as soon as I shared about them not getting a loaner vehicle that was comparable in size, she swiftly cut me off and said you refused to accept how we were attempting to help you so we wont do anything else and a refund is out of the question because the shop did perform quality work. Its unfortunate that everyone involved turned a blind eye to what really happened, including the owner who refused to speak with me over the phone. Quality work solves mechanical issues, not create more.

I booked my appointment online which was convenient and simple. The technician who helped me check in made the process easy and the work was done quickly. I was surprised though that the employees were not wearing masks. That was disappointing.

But this isnt what struck me to give them five stars. It was the overall consistency. He ran into a few customers who werent as happy and he remained kind and friendly. He found the best solution he could for each customer. These are reasons to come back over and over.

My appointment for an oil change was at 10am and I arrived 20 minutes early my car was serviced and questions I had answered, I drove off a happy customer by 10:30 am. The mechanic and front desk person was very professional and gave me a timeline when to start looking for new tires. A glutton for punishment. Ive been coming to this one for over 4 years now. Ive seen I cant even count maybe 7+ new managers and again another needs to work on customer service skills. Got an oil change and tire rotation...needless to say pay attention look out into the bay to make sure they are doing what theyre supposed to. Their tire rotation is side to side same axle . They did not move the front tires at all and then the manager wants to debate saying he did. I know my car. I also had a coupon for $10 off ANY synthetic oil change. Needless to say that did not apply to my car because mines uses the synthetic blend. They pulled my car in and out so fast I dont even know if they actually changed the oil. They were good years ago, but I really believe its time for a change. I wouldnt trust them with my car any longer. Its just hard to get good service these days.

Ive had two excellent experiences with this shop, with different managers, so its definitely a company/store culture that is great. My first visit was for brakes and to get some other maintenance done. I was told by another shop that I needed a certain service, but when the folks here inspected my car, they not only told me I didnt need the service, but they explained and showed me why I didnt need it. They were great with working with me about coupons as well. My second visit was a follow-up to a continued issue, and Meineke first tried to fix it at no charge, and when that didnt work, they accurately diagnosed an issue that a dealership didnt believe was an issue. The staff kept me informed at all times, was incredibly friendly, and I felt like my business was very valued. I will be using this shop for my auto needs from now on. I highly recommend it.

The manager James is great and staff is attentive.Example: I took my truck to Jiffy Lube down the road because I had a free oil change and while I was there I asked them to take a look at my tire because I thought I had a small leak. Long story short, they said they couldn’t find anything wrong. I brought it to James and they found two separate tires with two separate nails… SMH. You get what you pay for I guess!

I scheduled appointment for oil change yesterday, and they were ready to begin the oil change promptly, as scheduled. New manager, Ken Dalton, was very efficient, courteous, and informative. He did not push up sells. However, while waiting for the oil change, we chatted and he reviewed my vehicles service record. He mentioned that at some point I might want to consider transmission service and tune-up. Neither had to be done immediately, but I knew both services were needed. My car has about 120,000 miles on it and according to manufacturers guidelines, I knew it was time for transmission service. Meineke happened to have a transmission service special promotion, so it was a great time to do this preventative maintenance and I was grateful they were able to do it immediately.Also, my car had started skipping a little, not a big problem yet but I could feel it skip occasionally. I just had not considered the problem significant enough to take it in for repairs. The car had never had a tune-up, so I decided to also have it done this visit. When I saw a spark plug they removed, there was a considerable gap so I am confident the tune up will fix that skipping problem.I am extremely pleased with the service and expect many more years of problem-free vehicle operation thanks to timely preventative services. I really appreciate Kens help and suggestions. I admit I procrastinate with addressing car issues, so I am grateful that he told me about these services and that he was able to work both additional services in with my oil change visit, and even more so because the transmission service was available at reduced promotional price. Price was very reasonable and work was completed pretty quickly.

These guys are great. I have always avoided the national repair companys but this place is different. They fixed my car and did it at a fair price. In addition they pointed out some other parts to keep a eye on buy did not need repairs at this time. I guess I am use to people trying to push unneeded repairs. They said just keep these issues in my mind and the next time I go for a oil change have them check the possible needed repair. They were great and I highly recommend them.

After living outside the US for several years I went to Meineke in Wake Forest because I had a coupon I found in the mail. My first experience was friendly and helpful customer service, a clean and comfortable waiting area and reasonable prices! In fact I was so impressed I went back a few weeks later for a repair. It’s a great place for quick and reasonable maintenance! The ability to schedule online is a plus too! I highly recommend you check these guys out! They’ll take good care of you!

Really appreciate the service. Had a 9:30 appointment for an oil change and was out by 10. Person working behind desk (didnt get his name) was really friendly and efficient

I went to get an oil change and my name was not on the schedule. Kyle had great customer service. He thought that the wait was going to be at least a hour or so but he and was able to find someone to work on my car and he got me in and out within 30 minutes. He was very nice an apologized for any inconvenience with the mix up in scheduling. Customer Service is my top priority. Thanks for accommodating me.
