Great candy shop to find all of your favorites, including truffles and fudge. They also have a second room for home decor with beautiful wreaths and swag. I cant wait to see my two Christmas door swags when they are ready!

If I could 10/5 i would!! The two women working were not only helpful but extremely kind to my young daughter who was in absolute heaven! They made excellent suggestions and also caught when we almost got our 2 year old chocolat covered espresso beams... when we left they gave her a balloon that just.made her day! Aside from excellent service they candy is delicious! They have something similar to a.soft mint but it taste like cotton candy, highly recommend! I wish I knew the names of the employees so I could thank them by name, I HIGHLY RLrecommend stopping by and getting some treats!

We came from across the country, and left, finding our best friends forever! People here were so nice, and so helpful. Not just with candy, which was delicious, and the truffles are adorable. But they served as wonderful guides for the area. They really helped us solidify that the triangle area is the place for us to move to. I cant wait to come back, and bring our girls to this place!

All my daughter wanted for her 6th birthday was to visit Sweeties Candy Shop and I’m so glad we did. The owner is always so sweet and personable and love that she has so many great options. We purchased lots of candy, some fudge and truffles. Everything was great! My daughter told me to give 100 stars to Sweeties. Thanks for making my daughters day! Highly recommend!

The owner asked me for ID when I gave her my bank card. This was for a $16 purchase. Im a 67 year old man and expect to be treated with a little more respect. Normally I would have just walked out without buying anything, but the candy was for a friend so I bought it anyway. I thought the candy was over-priced, but my friend liked it.Bottom line - if you want decent, over-priced candy and dont mind being treated like a criminal, this is the store for you. I certainly wont be going back.

Sadly, today my friends and I had wanted to go to this shop and just spend our money on the sweets. We were going to spend our own money and buy these sweets giving her business. Now, as soon as my friend walked in with her service dog, she was told that she had to leave her dog outside. My friend needs this animal to help her, he wouldnt have done any harm to the food or anyone that came in. I had been wanting to come here for a while but now I have no want to go into that shop, get candy and leave. We just wanted to be simple customers and we were hushed out.

I cant highlight enough how much my family enjoys this candy shop in beautiful downtown Wake Forest! The staff and owner are extremely kind and considerate of my children (4 and 1) when we come in the store. You will not find a better selection of candy for the children and treats for adults anywhere close by!

Being the worst kind of customer there is....I was in need of an immediate gift of candy to be delivered on the same day. The worst, I know...But the helpful staff at Sweeties, specifically Belinda, was able to not only arrange a beautiful basket of the perfect goodies, but even though her day was already crazy busy, she was ALSO able to get it rush delivered for me in the same day. Id give 6 stars if I could! More companies should take note and strive to give this kinda of customer support.

I was in the store when this occurred. The owner handled it very professional. They were yelling and very rude. Their yelling scarred other customers. She allowed the dog but ask that it stay at the front until other kids that were scarred by these rude teenagers to leave. She stated that she had in the past had dogs that were supposedly service dogs that drooled and try to eat the candy. The rude kids would not listen and kept yelling at her that she was breaking the law. She said she would call the Wake Forest police to inquire how to handle. And again they all starting yelling NO. I have visited many times and this was handled very professionally. Please do not let this drama situation judge the eight years of superlative service keep from shopping. Here.

Love Sweeties!! My kids and I frequently visit!! I do appreciate the owners keeping a close eye on who may or may not be a true service dog! The service dogs I have seen are clearly TRUE service dogs they know how to act in public *and so do their owners when questioned* That could be a disaster in a candy shop! It is sad how a few kids can go online and bring down a rating! I do enjoy Sweeties and will continue to go back!!

The service was very helpful and friendly, and the place was clean and colorful. However, there was nothing so special about the store that would make me really want to go back. The candy selection was average. Under no circumstances should you buy the key lime truffles.

I agree with the comment that there are two sides to this story. Unfortunately, we have a lot of people that twist the facts to fit their needs. Perhaps if they had shown a little respect and conducted themselves more maturely, the young lady might not have become so distraught. Yelling and screaming in a business like that is poor behavior, not to mention threatening to the rest of the customers. In my day, I would have been in trouble at home if the police had been called due to my behavior in a place of business. Ive always had a good experience shopping for sweets.

WARNING the owner of this shop refuses services dogs. Was having a great time with my friends and then the lady wouldnt let us in because of my friends service dog. She treated to call the police on us and then even when we left she actually called 911. My friend ended up passing out because having a panic attack from this and we had to call 911 for her. Thank you so much for ruining the day for everyone and being a horrible being.

You refused to allow my friends service dog past a certain point in the shop. You violated the Americans with Disabilities Act and caused my friend to have a panic attack. You threatened to call the police on her when it was you in the wrong. She then had a panic attack and passed out, causing us to have to call 911. You had no right to refuse to allow her to come into the store. Please do not lie about what happened, face the facts and understand you were in the wrong. Youre candy was overpriced anyway.

First, I am a long time customer with a service dog that has frequented this store many time. I have spoken with a trusted friend of this establishment and will add my 2 cents here. First, an Emotional Support Animal is not a service dog. The fact you used this terminology suggest that your animal is not a trained service dog as well. The first rule of being in public with a service dog is it MUST be well behaved and under the control of the owner. From what I gathered the animal was not in control and was identified as an ESA which is not protected under public access rules within the ADA. Secondly, any business can and should ask 2 questions...are you disabled and what task(s) is the animal trained to perform. If you cant articulate this information it suggests your dog is not a Service Dog. From what I gathered from trusted sources youre harming this persons business over false facts and you putting REAL SD teams in jeopardy by being in public with your un-trained animal. Myself and my partner have been in this store many times and had 0 issues but we are legitimate and she is never out of control while working :)

The woman who was working was rude and mouthy. I walked in with my kids that were so excited to be in there just for her to complain about them the entire time and tell them that they didnt need any more candy. She followed my kids around telling them not to touch anything. We left without buying anything. WILL NOT BE BACK.
