Unfortunately, I was sold a used machine instead of a new machine that I was promised. The machine was dirty, dusty, had hair, and fingerprints, and an impassable error message right out of the box. When I brought my concerns to the owner, she was patronizing and dismissive and insisted that I knew I was being sold a used/floor model machine and to clean the machine myself. The owner, Susan, was not present during the sales process but maintained that I was told I was getting a used/floor model machine. The owner is unwilling to replace the machine with the brand new machine I was supposed to be sold. Instead of replacing the machine with a brand new one, they offered to sell me software at a discounted price. The owner showed no remorse and is unwilling to provide acceptable remedies so I have contacted Brother International Corporation to get assistance. After all, who spends $16,087 on a used PR 1055X? Even at a car dealership, you get the CarFax, I did not receive any information including the Trip time or count on this machine and feel that this was a fraudulent sale.

As a growing small business I truly appreciate the kindness shown to me by the staff at Quilt Lizzy. Our company decided to venture into the world of embroidery so I made a visit to Quilt Lizzy on a Saturday evening to explore our options. Karen was very patient in showing me the features and capabilities of their embroidery machines, demos included. Although the store closed at 5pm, she stayed well beyond closing to ensure my needs were met. The owner was also very kind enough to personally assist the following week to bring in equipment that had to be specially ordered. I look forward to being a long time customer!

The classes are always fun and I learn so much. Great place to shop and definitely worth the drive from Raleigh!
