Wonderful old fashion type hardware store in the historical downtown of Wake forest. Outside, youll find beautiful healthy plants to adorn your home and gardens. Inside youll find lots of interesting things and a friendly owner and employees ready to serve you! I highly recommend you pay them a visit! Youll be so glad you did.

They have been in town forever. Dont let this small storefront fool you. They have tons of stuff inside.This is a true hardware store with that hard to find stuff that youve been driving all over town to find.Great group of people too.

These guys are outstanding. I recently had five chainsaw chains sharpened and they had them done in three hours - I have had to wait over a week at one of their competitors. All I can say is, do your research before you buy a Traeger grill from anyone. Search YouTube and watch the videos of others that never got their grills working, just like me. I wasted an entire Saturday on multiple hours-long conversations with Traeger tech support. After the 5th reinstall of the App on my phone, and countless resets of my perfectly good router that connects to every other device in my house just fine... tech support wanted to start shipping me parts. I cut my losses and returned it. I was going to leave a 3 star review and say they were nice about taking it back. However, after processing my return, the owner felt the need to call me and try to fight about it. Then he started trolling me with text messages. Not sure what he was hoping to achieve by that, thanks for making me relive a miserable experience. Regretting giving them my contact info now.

Nice little hardware store with just about anything normal you might need. If they dont have it wonderful people work there to help you find it. I was impressed with both the selection and the help I received while there.

Been shopping at B&W since I moved to Wake Forest in 1998. I have bought every type of rub/spice the have, Duke Cannon products, 2 Traeger Wood Pellet Grills, Traeger Grill accessories, a cooler, Orca cups, dog toys, nails and screws. I think I am qualified to give them a 5 star review! I find what I need online and if they dont have it, they will order it and it usually arrives in a couple of days at the most. Shop small and shop local so you can support a local family owned business!

On March 4, 2021 I entered B & W Hardware store in Wake Forest. Not one employee was wearing a mask. I saw three unmasked employees. I was very uncomfortable and disappointed to be put in this position. I left and will not return.

We purchased a grill from these guys and we had an excellent experience. Their patience with me was incredible. The grill was a substantial investment to us and we wanted to make sure we were making an informed decision. These folks spent the time with no pressure. Extremely disappointed in the phone call I just had. Let me start by saying my purchase and delivery last summer was a great experience. When I called a couple months later to report the issue I was having on my new Traeger Grill, it was a pleasant conversation with what sounded like an older gentleman that assured me the part I needed wasnt in stock, but should be before long, and I would be contacted once it was and they could send it to me or they would come replace it...perfect. Fast forward 6 months later to today. I call to follow up since I hadnt heard anything, and whoever the guy was that answered, after I told him I wanted to inquire about this part, basically told me they still didnt have any controllers in, and that his similar Traeger does the same thing...that it was a little finicky like that....and that eventually you can get your temperature right. He said that any new controllers went on new Traeger grills that were being sold. Obviously that doesnt give you warm fuzzies as someone that had already purchased his almost $1500 grill and wanted service after the sale. When I said I understood, but Id like to get mine fixed, he stated that a new controller could do the same thing. It was like I was being ridiculous for wanting to correct the problem I had...on a $1500 grill, after only a couple months use. One of my reasons for buying from here was the fact that I could go to them for any problems directly, which is what set them apart from other sellers. On this call I was told to call Traeger directly to resolve this. Definitely the opposite of what I expected when placing the call. It felt exactly like what youd expect from a big box store, and absolutely caught me by surprise. Ive reached out to Traeger directly to see if they can help me, but felt it was mt duty to share my unfortunate experience.Update - I spoke with Traeger and theyre going to send me out a new controller. Very easy and polite phone call, and they agreed that this should be reported as a faulty controller and replaced. She agreed that you should never accept the fact that your Traeger doesnt work as it is supposed to. Hope this helped.

Always great service. However this evening our office was struck by lightening causing a large hole in the roof. Kirk realized I was in desperate need of help due to the nasty storm approaching and came back to the office and did all he could to fix the issue then sent me the name of a roofer who came right out and repaired the roof. Amazing! Truly shows why everyone should support local businesses.

I went to B & W this weekend with my husband to look at grills. Right away we were greeted and asked if we needed help. We explained to them what we had in mind and they steered us to the perfect Traeger model. Kirk took the time to answer both of our questions and was extremely knowledgeable about all of the products. He knew all of the technical stuff my husband wanted to know and was able to explain the benefits between the different models for me. There was no pressure to buy, but when we did decide to purchase it that day, B & W was able to deliver it within the hour! We were shown how to start the grill and given a quick tutorial on all things Traeger. We will definitely be buying all of our accessories with them!
