Friendly staff, excellent communication with Dr Peters. He thoroughly explained details of my situation.
This office is horrible! I was sent there for a referral by my PCP to have a procedure done. Initially, they were great. The doctor told me I would be in pain for a couple days and that if it lasted longer or if I had any concerns, to contact the office. Well, after about 5 days, I contacted the office because I was still having some pain and I wanted to know if I should come in or schedule a video visit. I had to leave a message on the nurse line. Someone called me back and stated that the doctor that did my procedure was in surgery that day and that sometimes he checks his emails so she would send him an email and that if he responded, she would get back with me that day, and if not, it would be the next morning. I waited until the afternoon of the next day and never heard anything, so I called back. I had to again leave a message. The nurse called me back and after explaining the story again, and wondering why I hadnt received a call back, she said there was nothing documented in my chart regarding the call. She said she asked around and no one remembers talking to me. She said my doctor was on vacation and she would have to ask another doctor and that she would call me right back. Well, thats been two days ago and still no return phone call. Steer clear if you think you may need to contact them after any procedures, because their lack of communication is unreal.
Dont waste your time or money. Called to make an appointment for vertigo that had been getting progressively worse over the last three weeks - the person I talked to refused to schedule an appointment without my insurance ID - when I showed to the appointment (I could barely walk straight because the vertigo had gotten so bad) the ENT doctor spent all of two minutes with me before deciding I had an inner ear infection (Ive never had an ear infection in my life) and that I would need to go to their Raleigh location to get a three hour test done and get an MRI, neither of which were even available to do until a month later. Defeated, I went home and did my own research - 30 minutes later I found my diagnosis: a blocked eustachian tube, which I fixed in under five minutes. The doctor should have found the and treated it very easily as it is not a rare or difficult problem to diagnose. The receptionist also attempted to make me pay twice - they asked for payment when I checked out even though I provided payment up front when I checked in. Im extremely disappointed in this practice - the doctors and practice in general seem very money oriented and they are not focused on the quality of care their patients receive.
I went to Raleigh Capitol ENT last year due to experiencing breathing issues and sinus infections. The first visit was quick and underwhelming. I made a follow up appointment a month out and when I came in for my follow up, I waited in the room for 45 minutes and walked out because the doctor/staff didnt come in to check in and I had to get to work. To this day, I havent received a follow up call to reschedule the appointment or to get me back in the office for care. Knowing I have a serious issue, I went to a different office altogether, and the first thing they did was take a CT scan and review the results with me within minutes. The doctor was super friendly and thorough during the visit. She confirmed that I had serious issues that the doctor at Raleigh Capitol ENT dismissed during the first visit. Bummed I wasted my time here to begin with.
Dr Dennis and Michelle are wonderful. Kindness and warmth oozing from their compassionate hearts. God bless them..
Saw Dr. Dennis, he couldnt figure my problem out but Ive seen a few doctors and no one has been able to in general. However, if I had to go back to one it would definitely be him. Seemed to genuinely care and really took his time with me.
Had and appointment with Dr Steven Dennis this morning. He is one of the nicest and knowledgeable docs I’ve ever seen. Everyone there goes above and beyond and are super friendly. I cannot recommend this practice enough. Kudos to all of you!
I was greeted by your front desk office staff at the Wake Forest location in a very professional and friendly manner. The expediency of my visit was amazing - absolutely no unnecessary waiting time at all which reflects on the way they book all appointments. The nurses were excellent and my hearing exam given by Lisa was given in such a way to put me at total ease. Dr. Dennis made me feel as if I have known him quite a while ~ although this was my first visit. If I need to come back again, in the near future, I know I WILL be in good hands. Thank you all again!!
I’ve been there many times over the years including having Sinus surgery. They have always provided first class care and attention. On two occasions, they corrected bad advice received from other doctors.
Reception and medical staff were efficient, courteous and professional. They all deserve an atta-boy salute for their efforts.
Very friendly, well run office. Dr. Dennis is super!
I was taken in a few minutes BEFORE my appointment time! Office is quite pleasant in terms of comfort and desk employees. Dr. Price fixed me up quickly. This was the most positive doctors appointment I have had in quite some time.
Dr Steven Dennis and his staff were AWESOME today. They have always been awesome and give the highest level of personal care anyone could ask for. We would also like to recognize the male receptionist today, we witnessed him have 100% patience with a lady checking in today. She needed a lot of assistance and he was totally patient helping her and never acted frustrated. Best ENT office in the Triangle!!
Dr Brown was excellent as I expected he would be. He checked everything and provided good answers and solutions for a plan to help me with treatment options for the pain I have been experiencing in my ears. I like that when their I was able to have a hearing test without having to make an additional appointment somewhere else a different day. One stop treatment means a lot to me.
Nice facility with pleasant knowledgeable staff. On-time. Dr Price was terrific. His diagnosis was spot on and the treatment he prescribed worked. He was easy to work with and seemed to value my input. I had an excellent experience during my initial visit and at my follow-up. I highly recommend Raleigh Capitol ENT.
The doctor and entire staff are ALWAYS so friendly and caring. They make you feel like they are excited to see you and help you with whatever you may need. My son had surgery and I knew he was in excellent hands.
Dr Dennis was attentive, thorough, asked great historical questions and gave me a great referral. He and the front office staff were also very friendly. If I have any specialist medical issues in the future, I will go back to him for treatment/diagnosis. I could have done without the Christian music in the waiting room.
I always have a great experience when I visit Dr. Dennis. He is one of the most caring physicians I have ever had. I know that when I visit him, he is going to take all of the time that is necessary to answer all my questions, and deal with all my concerns.
I have been using this office since my daughter was 8 months old. We absolutely love the staff and have never been disappointed. We have always been called for our appointments on time and have never had a problem with a wait time. Our doctor, Dr. Ramakrishnan works great with small children. There are no complaints here, hence why we travel almost an hour!
Worked with Dr Stephen Dennis for a few years following suspicious growths. Turned out to be non-threatening, and followed until we are sure things are good. Always a pleasant experience. Quality care.
After filling out necessary paperwork at West Raleigh CE,N&T, I was immediately called back to an examination room, and Dr. Brown entered quickly afterwards. (As an aside, the waiting room is very ambient, with seashell displays, soft lighting, and a giant fish tank). I had very little wait time at any point in my visit. Dr. Brown and the techs/ assistants/ specialists were warm, relaxed, and thorough. Before I left, I felt that my questions had been answered, my problem was identified, and I understood what was causing my dizziness and imbalance. I would gladly return to Raleigh CE,N&T should I require further treatment.
Everyone was friendly and helpful. Dr. Price was wonderful. He listened to me and genuinely cared about my issues. I would recommend this practice to all my friends.
Warm and welcoming lobby and reception area. Large colorful aquarium full of interesting fish to view while you wait. And a separate kids playroom with toys, books, and a small table with chairs. Quite lovely.
I have been a patient at Raleigh Capitol ENT for years. I have been to all three offices, Lake Boone Trail, Wake Forest and Garner. Over the years I have seen all of the doctors. At each visit they have spent time listening to my health concerns and addressed them all. I have the highest regard for the care and compassion I have received from the doctors and staff. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone. You will not be disappointed.
Initially examined and evaluated for exposure to suspected allergens and treated for chronic sinus infection. Next tested for suspected sensitivities to discovered workplace irritants. Finally given follow up exam for treatment effectiveness and explanation of test results and future treatment options. Always seen promptly at time scheduled. All my questions answered . Knowledgeable and caring health care provider.
My experience at Capital ENT with the people at the Wake Forest office was nothing less than great. Everyone there was so helpful and attentive. Dr Dennis is the best. He explained everything thoroughly and answered any questions that I had .
We met Dr. Wilkins when our son was born tongue tied. Dr. Wilkins came to the hospital on a Sunday to help us! He was just as friendly when we followed up with him. He clearly enjoys what he does. The Wake Forest staff were also friendly and welcoming.
Staff is wonderful and Dr gets right to the problem
Would not recommend. They demand payment upfront, regardless of what insurance states, holding the patient hostage. I ultimately received two checks from my insurance and when I discussed this matter with the staff they were uncaring and dismissive. I had multiple instances where an appointment was confused with another patient. I suggest looking elsewhere.
I was treated very very nice. My Doctor got me in and got me out. He made sure to tell me what I needed to hear and my options. The whole staff is very nice and I was very comfortable. Thank you very much.
Our experience was great. The staff and atmosphere was very nice/clean. Everything was explained so you had no questions unanswered. No long wait.
I enjoyed my visit. When I arrived, I filled out my paper work an was promptly taken back and was seen by Dr. Clark . Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the practice.
Love Dr. Dennis. He is amazing and take time to answer questions.
As always, Dr. Ramakrishnan explained everything about my condition going forward, including a possibility of toxic shock syndrome and all the signs. I always feel fully informed when I leave the office. Also happy that you come to Wake Forest on Wednesdays -- very convenient. I was pleased that Dr. Ramakrishnan suggested a fairly new procedure that would really help my nose heal better. Front desk staff was excellent help and even called my internal medicine practice to get physician information to update my record.
Friendly, fast and efficient staff. Doctor was knowledgeable and listened to our concerns. He helped us get a game plan. Great office. Thanks
The entire appointment was very structured and ran very efficiently. All the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Other than learning I have hearing loss, it was a very good experience.
Dr. Steven Dennis is one of the most caring physicians I have ever had and Heather is top notch in making sure I am comfortable. I cannot imagine ever going to another ENT. Thanks so much for being on my team.
Everyone from Receptionist to Nurses were so outwardly welcoming! Very good experience. Dr. Clark & his nurse were very informative.
Great caring professional smiling staff nurses n docs
Love doctor Dennis. Worth the wait
I was an hour early to my appointment by mistake but I was taken right back to a room as soon as I filled in my paper work and was only in the room minutes before Dr. Medders came in. Not an experience that happens a lot in medical offices. His team and Dr. Medders were extremely friendly and eased my typical doctors office anxiety (I can always tell by my in office blood pressure...). Explanation of my treatment and ease of check in and check out was great. Beautiful office. I recommend this practice to anyone.
Dr. Jeevan Ramakrishnan is a great ENT doctor. He is very patient and listens to the patient carefully. When I had surgery at an outpatient surgical location, I wanted a specific anesthesia because of side effects. The person administering anesthesia at the outpatient location did not listen to my recommendation and Dr. Jeevan Ramakrishnan stepped in and made sure I got the anesthesia that I recommended. The surgery was successful and I had no side effects. I appreciate that he sided with me and made sure it happened.
The staff at RCENT are always friendly and willing to go the extra mile to help. Dr. Dennis, despite his heavy patient load, takes the time that is needed to answer questions and provide the patient with the best care possible. I would recommend RCENT to anyone needing care.
By phone I scheduled both an exam and allergy testing at their Wake Forest location on February 19th. Discovered once I was there that no testing would be done at that time or that location and would have to wait until April 29th for any allergy testing to begin. Saw Dr. Medders and told him that I believed I had a nasal infection. Without even doing a swab, Dr. Medders told me that there was no infection because there was nothing appearing productive. I went instead to another practice where a nasal swab was administered. The results: both staphylococcus aureus (considered by Merck manual to be the most dangerous staph bacteria and untreated can lead to bone infections, heart valve replacement, or pneumonia) and bacillus was found. A follow-up complaint by phone to their office resulted in the following: 1) the infection took place afterwards 2) the cost of swabbing everyone would be prohibitive 3) we only listen to patients when we want to. So, many thanks to Raleigh Capital ENT for making this a total waste of time, money, and effort.
Very pleased with my visit. This was my first visit At Raleigh Capitol ENT...it was a positive experience from the time I walked in...early...until I left. Everyone was polite, efficient and respectful.
Nice facilities. Friendly staff. Brief wait. Dr. Dennis is the greatest. Couldnt be more friendly. Disappointed that the earliest allergy screening appointment available is 4 months away.
Timely service. Kind & thorough doctor. Great with getting paperwork done for disability purposes.
They doctor was very child friendly, he had a wonderful since of humor and took his time with my child.
Dr. Brown and Stacey were very pleasant and efficient. They were very understanding about my reluctance to have an ear cleaning every few years and cheerfully put up with my apprehension!
Dr. Price is a caring and competent provider. It is always easy to make an appointment with his office within a few days of calling, which is fantastic (and very rare these days, it seems).
Been going to Dr Clark for a lot if years, very pleased.
Great experience. Courteous staff and very professional. Really like Dr.
Dr. Dennis did a great job of resolving my issues with my ear. Nice, professional and effective.
I visited Dr. Medders at the West Raleigh location. Everyone I came in contact with in the office was professional and helpful. Dr. Medders was on time for my appointment. He listened to my health concerns, examined me and made a plan. Good visit.
Communication is great. Administration system and staff is great. Attending doctor/nurses and system/process are super.
I was incredibly impressed by Dr. Dennis. His willingness to truly listen, his empathy, and his thorough evaluation are second to none.
The staff and doctor were all very pleasant and informative and I had almost no wait at all.
Had a great experience from the receptionist who was very professional and nice to the Dr who did a great job and treated me with respect!
Dr. Medders and staff are courteous and down to earth. One can feel their compassion and concern for your health.
My appointment was with Dr. Clark. Excellent discussion about procedure and what I could expect will be done during surgery.
Dr Steve Dennis is my husbands ear Doctor for many, many years.Patient name: Isham Ted Hedgepeth. We both rate Dr Dennis the best
The front desk was polite and efficient. Dr Clarkson was very caring and put me at ease.
I had a wicked swimmers ear that was so painful. I visited urgent care on a Sunday. They gave me antibiotics - the pain was so horrible that night I considered the ER! I was able to be seen by my primary the next morning who referred me to dr. Dennis. This man is a saint!!! So are his wonderful nurses. Going to an ENT isnt exactly fun LOL but dr. Dennis was very kind, patient and caring. If I ever have another ENT need I will come here again and AGAIN. Thank you all so much.
You or your family need a great ENT? From front desk, to the nurse practitioners, to the Dr. Come here!
A joyful welcome at the front desk, wonderful assistance by talented nurses, and the very best surgery by Dr. Clark!!!!
DR MEDDERS is inappropriate, unprofessional, and mixes personal issues with medical care, I was unknowly seeing a medical DR. with a personal grudge againt me very scary. Now after going their for allergy shots for over a year 1 & 1/2 I must find another ENT.
Very kind employees and I was seen quickly and treated very well.
Staff very polite and appointment with Dr Durland who was very easy to talk with and understanding.
The staff and doctor was very friendly and made my son feel at ease!
A little unorganized and not very personable as far as if they are great doctors I cant say as I went with another for surgery
The technician was wonderful. I came in to pick up a hearing aid that had been repaired and he was very patient as he learned how to pair it with my phone app.
Excellent service; caring staff
Dr. Medders and his staff are great and the Wake Forest office is convenient to my work and home!
First time at Raleigh Capitol ENT on Lake Boone and my experience was great! Staff was very friendly and the doctor was very knowledgable of my illness.
I was in to have a tube put in my right ear. Everything went well. In and out in no time.
Dr. Wilkins is doing everything he can to figure out what is needed to treat and cure this issue in my right ear. I couldnt ask for a better doctor...
Dr. Ramakushnan is Very knowledgeable and an excellent addition to your staff.
