Consistently slow, but otherwise no major issues. Less than stellar staff. But it’s the closest DQ and they have outdoor seating for Gunner to eat as well!

This place has really gone down hill. Used to love going. Prices have gone up and the quantity and quality gone down. Dont get a float if you expect ice cream in it.

Update:The store manager has since reached out to me in regards to my review. She listened to what I shared about my experience and rectified the situation. I appreciate her reaching out. We are partial to DQ ice cream and look forward to going back.We love getting ice cream at our local DQ. Unfortunately yesterday we were disappointed. This is the second time we have gone and ordered cotton candy blizzards, have paid for extra toppings, only to not receive what we paid for. The cotton candy blizzard is our favorite one, we love the sauce and candies in it. Apparently this DQ location has been out of the candies that make it the cotton candy blizzard, which was not made known to us both visits. We paid extra for sauce and candies in the blizzard, only to get cotton candy blizzards with extra regular springs. I know that was done to compensate for not having the cotton candy candies, but the employees should let us know beforehand or even ask if we want regular sprinkles. Had we been asked we would have just passed on it all together.

Attitude at the drive in after asking for extra napkins. I ordered a double dipped cone and get couldnt get that right it was cracked down the side. Thats why I asked for the napkins. What a delicious mess!

Ice cream was delicious! I just wish they would open the inside so you can eat in there. Ice cream melts eating outside with temperatures so hot.

I always get soft ice cream on the corn. Love that. Just right.

7/22/21 I am really concerned about the Covid19 with the gloves handling the dirty money and the with those same gloves on the employee go and make product. This is totally against the Health Sanitation Dept rules, worked in foodservice for 28 yrs. So instead of reporting to Health Sanitation I decided to call the manager I spoke with someone name Sarah saying she was the store manager. I voice my concerns about what I just observed by the employee she immediately took to the defense we had health inspections last week and they said it was OK for them to wear the glove then I said I know for a fact that they cant use t h e glove to get money and then go make products. Sarah was not thankful for bringing that to her attention .

Feel bad for them, always a favorite of ours for ice cream treats but lately they have never had food with their machines being broke down. The staff was hardly wanting to work it seemed and even then everyone looked miserable. Last I went by they werent even open in the middle of the day. Sad.

The light skin girl with the piercing on her face was very rude and unwelcoming. It all started when she was taking my order over the microphone and she was sassy and just belligerent then I get to the window and ask her “are you having a bad day?” And she rolls her eyes and says “no” then proceeds to tell her co worker, you help her. I never in my life witness such poor customer service. I don’t understand where they get these employees from. I left and didn’t spend one dime at this location and now I’m at another restaurant giving them my hardworking money. The least they can do is be respectful, it’s never anyone at this location anyway. Note: I did call corporate and the owner is supposed to be investigating and notified of this terrible experience.

Dairy Queen offers a dense, heavy soft serve thats not over whipped with air. My only wish is that they would pump up the flavor, as both chocolate and vanilla flavors are very light. A Madagascar Vanilla would be worth an even higher price, should they ever step up to to that level.

This Dairy Queen is understaffed and I cant recommend. I waited in the same spot in the drive thru for 10+ minutes with 5-6 cars in front of me. Ive had a long wait every time I visit. The employees are very kind, but management should address staffing and efficiency. Very disappointing since this is the only DQ in the area.

Very poor service...Went through the drive thru when there were no cars and sat for a good five minutes without acknowledgement of any of the workers. Decided to pull up to the window and the worker told us she can’t take our order and she can only take it where we first were. I would not recommend this DQ to anyone.

We love going there for many different reasons, but date night is always a fun night for us. The Blizzards are my favorite and the soft serve on the cones are my husbands favorite. The employees are always friendly!

Not much of an ice cream fan but when I eat ice cream the blizzards are the best. The family loves to go. The staff is always friendly and polite. There is some seating inside and outside and plenty of parking. Has a drive through as well if you would rather use that option.

The only thing I want to suggest is please teach employees how to make a large ice cream cone! If I pay for a large, I want a large, not a medium. It shouldnt be skinny. Otherwise, the ice cream is great!

You can tell the owner takes pride in his store. We sat outside and there were lovely flowers around the outside seating area, as well as a fountain. Then there was also a seating area with nice beach wooden chairs underneath some trees. That looked like a nice place to hang out on a nice summer night.I had a corn dog and fries and both were super hot and fresh! The fries were as good, if not better than some sit down restaurants. The pretzel sticks my dad got werent the best and the queso wasnt that great, but his ice cream was super great DQ quality.The cashier was nice and gave my dad a large cone instead of a small because she forgot about it. The staff was friendly and got our food out quick!The bathroom was clean and well stocked!Overall- great experience!

Our family and golden retriever have visited twice in the past month and it has always been an enjoyable experience. The outside seating is comfortable and colorful flower garden is a nice touch by the drive thru. The doggie water bowl outside is thoughtful. We will be back.

The 4 piece chicken strips special for $4.99 I purchased for me and my wife was great and cooked fresh to order. I also took advantage of this months special 99 cents small shake. Vanilla is my favorite and it was soooooo good also. I dont go to DQ often unless theyre having a good special meal deal and I was not disappointed with it. I cant ever remember having a bad experience at the Wake Forest DQ and I highly recommend them. The staff have always been nice to me and this time was no exception. Keep up the good work, WF DQ! I just wish this location served burgers, too.

Love the new royal strawberry cheesecake blizzard, went today for it, me and hubby always stay in the barkinglot enjoying our icecream, they were closing 9:04pm in any other place youll think people would run home when it comes to 9pm but not the workers in there..... a truck driver came after they close, of course he went to the door and they were closed, and am just telling my husband while he is going to their door I feel bad for him, probably he is hungry, they drive all day, if it was me, Ill take his order and just when I finished my sentence, that nice teenager working in there, I know him from going there but not his name, he came to the door while the driver is leaving and when he saw that he is a truck driver he opened the door for him........ its that nice pure act of kindness that keeps us going...... we love everybody working in this DQ... 🤗🤗🤗😊
