Terrific location. Plenty of parking and helpful staff. Had a great recommendation by one staff member for Tequila. Oh, and they usually have my favorite (local) gin, Oak & Grist! Its a genevere-based gin, that doesnt taste like a pine-cone and distilled in Black Mountain, NC!

This store is well operated and clean, but I have to remove a couple stars because it operates under the auspices of the NC ABC. This antiquated program simply needs to go away.So many of my northern friends have come to NC, utterly confused by the ABC system. Im usually perturbed when a newly transplanted resident says, Up north, we did it this way... but in this case, theyre right!

Huge store, hardly any liquor, and unfortunately only 1 person at a register when there was at least 4 people working. It could be so much better.

I had to walk past several signs before accessing this store for the first time.The kind Cashier tried to force a mask on me. I said I could not wear one and am exempt. He said I can go get what I need.I am guessing he did this because the misguided Wake County Commissioner, Matt Calabria, is trying to force masking on everyone, (Aug 2021) but the Town of Wake Forest is not onboard with this one mans forced plan on an entire County of 1M ppl.I guess you can say it is important to know how to combat tyranny, keep your distance to be respectful of those who are fearful and know the competing government guidelines arent law. The Legislature makes laws, not Wake County Commissioners, not the Mayor of Wake Forest etc.How do you check photo ID and verify age with a mask on anyways?How do you identify a shoplifter, if masked?

Nice spacious store. Clean and everything was easily organized and identified.There were two registers open in preparation this Friday for the holiday weekend too! 🙌Staff seemed friendly as busy as they were!

This is the one to go to, plenty of selection, plenty of parking, and the staff were friendly. A lot better than the usual location by Triangle Town Center that we go to.

NC likes to brag about First in FREEDOM its on there licence Plates even and yet they have a communistic state run liqueur store what gives . you do not like what or how they run there business well to bad you have no choice that being said I went there to get some things for a Party and attempted to use a Cash Card and was told that they do not accept Gift card I attempted to explain that it was not a gift card it was a visa cash card that I get from my work it gets filled with my bonus money when I hit numbers and it specifically states on the back NOT A GIFT CARD accepted anywhere visa is accepted but nope the guy refused to take it say no its a gift card the best part is I have used this car before and now after this event at other abcs without any issues.

I will not spend my money at any establishment that makes me wear a mask.

This store really has a huge selection! We went here specifically because we heard that they had more to pick from. We were very pleasantly surprised with what was available. The store is very neat and organized. There is nice overhead signage to easily find what you are looking for. I was also surprised at the number of mini bottle options they had!! The store had a line at checkout but they were being checked out very quickly and we didnt have to wait long before we could pay.

Good selection, better than most ABC stores, staff is always friendly and always offer assistance with the doors to those in wheelchairs

The Wake Forest ABC is a beautiful store with lots of options. This is a great stop if you are looking for a run of the mill liquor or bourbon. For my bourbon heads... Wake County doesn’t really fit the mold for a lot of the hard to find stuff.

Large store a little bit hidden in the back of a mall. Nice and clean and a large selection of alcohol available. Would be nice if they had carts rather than just hand baskets.

Best selection around. Fantastic NC section which is a good place to get some cool gifts for out of state family members. NC has great Vodka, gin Bourbon and Rum distilleries.

This location has the most variety. I visited several different ones looking for specific brands of spirits for gifts. All have the most popular brands, but for specialty items like Pimms this is the one to visit.

These guys are very conscientious. Small store and staff, but when I accidentally hit the curb - tires only and no damage either way (new shoes and found the clutch instead of the brake), they double checked that I had not been drinking. I had not, just a clumsy oaf, but so good on them for checking!I got my whiskey for my holiday eggnog, and they are keeping a watch out for drunk drivers. Good on you, Wake Forest ABC store!

The new store has a HUGE whiskey selection and is much larger! The staff is great. I am always finding a new distillery to try.Old review - Decent little store. My complaint or only issue would be that it is small and never seems to have small batch or unique whiskeys.

The new location in Wake Forest (behind the Walmart) is very convenient. Laid out well. I always get the feeling were paying more than we should be due to the ABC setup in NC but hey, its the only game in town.

Its a liquor store. I mean I didnt really hang out or have a cup of coffee. The conversation with the employees was pleasant but did not have me enthralled to a wich it consumed an hour of my day. I pretty much walked in straight to my liquor of choice put it on the counter said Hey paid and walked out. I give it 4 out of 5.

For an ABC store I was super surprised at the selection. They have almost all my favorite Bourbons, which is no small feat, and my all time favorite tequila, Class Azul, which I never expected to find in NC of all places. Its wild expensive and a once a year kinda purchase, but they got it. Oh, and yes, they are super nice their too.
