Absolute Precision Plumbing replaced our water heater. Ken responded to my call very quickly and called me back with all of the information about the different options we had. We scheduled a time for the work to be done. Bryan showed up as scheduled and arranged to have the new water heater delivered on time. Bryan was very friendly and professional, and finished the job in a timely manner. He also showed me what was different on the new water heater and made sure i had all the information i needed. With the endless rain we have had recenlty getting a water heater around to the back of our house through the soggy, muddy hill and lawn must of been a challenge but Bryan never mentioned it. We were very happy with the service Absolute Precision provided. We have been using them for years and will continue to do so.

Absolute Precision was recommended to us by various neighbors. They installed a ductless mini-split AC system in our single-family cape and we couldn’t be happier with the process and results. Ken and his team were fantastic from the start. From the first phone call consulting with Ken and inquiring about mini-split systems (before my husband and I closed on our new home), all the way through applying for Mass Save, scheduling, loan process, and install of 4 heads and two condensers just in time before the heat of late May (!) hit. Ken was super responsive, always ready to answer any of my questions, patient (Mass Save process), and accommodating to my ideal schedule of install. And he is funny and nice! :-) We are very happy to have found Absolute Precision. I feel they’ll have our back whatever (heating, cooling, plumbing) issue I’ll throw at them!

We were able to arrange an appointment for replacement of an old sump pump on fairly short notice. Our technician, Bryan, was on time and courteous. In addition to replacing the old pump, Bryan advised us on the best, most efficient means of distributing water pumped through exterior pipes and recommended against a procedure, which we inquired about, that would have been costly and unnecessary.

I have always had such a great experience with these guys. They have always been super helpful and responsive, they give me fair prices, and the work is always a quick and easy process for them to complete. For example, I called them up Thursday morning at 10 with a water leakage issue where i had to turn off the water at my house to avoid any damage. Ken got right back to me and said he would have someone over that afternoon. Bryan showed up early afternoon, came in, saw the issue, figured out the fix, and went to work. He also was very helpful in answering a few other questions I had. Bryan was very knowledgeable. Great experience overall and would definitely recommend.

I have a forced hot water system. One of the pressure valves was stuck . Bryan easily diagnosed the problem and fixed it right away. He also fixed the air that built up in the pipes and the lack of water flow. Very friendly and informative.

Ken and his team did a great job installing our basement sink and fixing our AC on the hottest Sunday I can recall. They were also very careful with our indoor-only cats, which we appreciate.

Update 5/2/2017:Well its been a year and almost done finishing my basement. Ken redid all the plumbing for my new laundry room and added a new laundry tub. Everything worked really well and Ken was really flexible with the scheduling which was key to this project. While he was finishing the tub I had additional work in the upstairs bathroom. I was replacing the bathtub face-plate when I ended up breaking a screw. 50 year old screw was stuck in the threading. I tired to remove the screw by drilling it and using that counter tool but after a few hours I gave up on that. Ken took a look and they tried everything they could to first drill the screw out and replace the pipe from our closet which already had a whole for access. After trying to finish the task with minimal damage, it was clear that my only option was to open up the ceiling below the tub and fix the entire trip=lever and drain pipe. Boy am I glad I did and Ken was there to do it. My pipe was all corroded and cutting back a section of the pipe, the other piece snapped off. This could have happened at any time. All this to say that Ken made the right decision and made sure it was fixed right. I wouldnt use anyone else for any of our plumbing needs. Thanks Ken and Absolute Plumbing and Heating!I used Absolute Precision Plumbing to re-pipe the pipes(house heating, hot water and cold water) in my basement ceiling because they were between 2 to 6 inches (or even more) from the floor joist. We are in the process of finishing our basement and since I am tall, the extra head room was needed. Ken came to our house and was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He gave me a quote in a timely matter for a reasonable price for the work to be done. The work was done promptly and his crew did good work. They did miss one of the pipe to re-pipe to the ceiling. It was in a slightly darker place of the basement. I called Ken up that night and he immediately scheduled the work to be done the next business day. To me this is what differentiates Kens business. It says a lot about Ken and how he treats his customers. He could have easily left me hung to dry but he didnt. I feel like my future projects will be in good hands and I definitely recommend Absolute Precision Plumbing.

I have used Absolute Precision Plumbing for smaller projects in the past e.g. garbage disposal installation etc and liked Ken’s (owner) professionalism, friendliness and attention to detail. I noted early on his honesty - I had bought a new house and asked him to look at a couple of things. I was worried about one of the pipes in my house but he reassured me that it was ok and not something that I needed to prioritize when it came to fixing some problems in the house. I appreciated his honesty and the fact that he wasn’t trying to get me to spend money on everything right away as I wouldn’t have known any better. After some research they appeared to be the best company to use for an oil to gas conversion for my furnace. I got a few quotes and they were one of the more reasonable. Fast, reliable, honest service. For 20 years, Ken has been advising us on our system, including expanding into two additions. He always took a conservative approach, to help us save money. This year, he advised us that our 30 year old boiler needed replacing, and I knew I could trust him. Since we will be moving in a few years, he did not recommend a super efficient and much more expensive system, since we would not live here long enough to get the savings, even though he would have earned more money doing so. Ken delivers honesty that is hard to come by.

These guys were great. Weve used plumbers in Wakefield in the past who have ripped us off in immense ways. Randy from Precision was HONEST, thorough and friendly. When we called we thought it was one problem, and although we were right, he went through 5 or so steps to make sure. The other plumbers with a large number of Google reviews in Wakefield took us for more than $1200 fixing an oil burner that, 7 days later, the oil company said never needed to be fixed. Im not looking forward to needing Absolute again! But when I do Ill be happy to call.
