Absolutely incredible museum! So many one of a kind pieces. The owner is very knowledgeable and passionate. Amazing wartime toys, including the legendary Mickey Mouse gas mask. It’s easily the best collection of early 1930s Disney and Fleischer animation memorabilia I’ve ever seen!
This museum was even better than expected. It was filled top to bottom with original art, antique toys, and TV and movie props. It is obvious the owner is passionate about his collection. He gave us a tour and had a wealth of knowledge about every piece. I learned so much about the history of toys and media. I plan on stopping back every time I visit Maine.
Sadly theyre only open on the weekends through December 22, 2019 for the winter.Google hours are wrong. They do offer private tours when available.
The owners are very nice, and the sheer amount and quality of the pieces is amazing. Definitely worth a stop.
Pretty much the coolest and strangest place in Maine. Everything from Micky Mouse to Hopalong Cassidy, with some really rare original stuff. The owner can tell you about every piece in the building, his love of all things toys and art is evident. Dont miss it!
This is a great fun place. Chock full of rare and wonderful toys, memorabilia and more.
