Top notch dealership - Ive been a customer for over 20 years. Although Ive received excellent customer service in the past, this trip exceeded past experiences - it was a 1st rate encounter!!! - I watched as my salesperson, finance manager, service manager and the general manager join forces to make sure I had everything I wanted in my vehicle. More importantly was the price of the vehicle/maintenance plan, that I found attractive and affordable.  I had no plan to purchase a vehicle, I was alone - no worries, my salesperson (Frank Mitchell) delivered the vehicle to my home later that evening gased up and detailed! Frank also provided me with helpful videos about the vehicle, but what impressed me most was that he very patiently - over the phone - walked me through steps to get things set up. So, if youre looking for a great vehicle and exceptional customer service is a must, this is the place to go!

This is the first time Ive had an issue with this service center, but honestly, one time is all you should be allowed when it comes to safety. As far as I know, my car was sitting on the lift from Thursday last week, to Saturday with nothing being done. I brought it in for routine maintenance and to have my AC checked with other minor things to look over. After being told it would take weeks to perform a diagnostics due to the backlog of cars sitting on the lot waiting for the same thing, I just opted for the routine maintenance which included an oil change.To make a long story short, my experience from Thursday to Saturday encouraged me to seek a second opinion with another mechanic. After having my brother check the oil level, we discovered the oil level was barely in the safe zone. The second mechanic (of a non-related service center) confirmed that DARCARS service center technician failed to replace filter cap properly which caused an oil leak. Without completing a diagnostics (to pinpoint what is wrong with it), DARCARS quoted me $495 to repair my AC. The second mechanic performed a full diagnostics which determined I only needed freon. A can of freon costs $9 (or slightly more) and with labor I doubt the final price would be $495.Furthermore, the full diagnostics performed by my second (and new) mechanic revealed that the list of items found wrong with my vehicle according to the DARCARS service center was incorrect. Simply put, I was given an expensive and inaccurate laundry list. If you are having your vehicle serviced by this particular service center, I suggest you get a second opinion from a professional of no affiliation with this establishment. It may serve you well to have someone knowledgeable in the basics of vehicle maintenance accompany you as you drop off your vehicle to make sure you are not being taken advantage of. Whether it is this place or somewhere else, often times, mechanics will tell you anything to drive up the price -this holds true for anyone whom they believe are not familiar in this area, and more so women. If I didnt go with my gut, I would have been running errands thinking I had oil in my car, and it was safe to drive.

This is an awesome dealership! I highly recommend visiting them if you’re in the market for a Jeep. I’m located in Northern Virginia so Waldorf, Maryland is a little bit of drive for me but it was well worth it. I will be back when I’m in the market for a Jeep again.Angie, Cole and Mike all went that extra mile to ensure that I was happy with my Jeep Gladiator purchase experience. Its tough to give a car dealership 5 stars because so often it is easy to walk out feeling had. In this case, not so. Im not an impulse buyer. I have been looking for almost 2 years for a new used car. I had driven multiple cars and narrowed it down to 3 possible make/models. When one showed up at the DarCars in Waldorf I had to take a look. Frank Mitchell was the first person I met. I appreciate his candor on questions and his ease of communication. I didnt feel pressured or like I was wasting his time (even when I said I wouldnt walk out of there that day with the car). I returned the next day to drive the car again (further and faster than around the block). Frank was off and I saw Mike Williamson. Again, I felt comfortable. He answered every question and then came the negotiation. I found them to be fair. I had an amount that I wanted to pay monthly and we got there. NOW, heres where the 5 star comes in. I bought the car and 2 weeks later took it on a cross country trip. Somewhere in Idaho (in August) the temperature dipped to the mid 40s and guess what, heater doesnt work. Upon our return, a referral to the the makers dealership, a bill of $650 later, and Im back at DarCars, not happy. I had no real legal leg to stand on. I was over the first 1,000 mile if anything goes wrong and it wasnt covered under the warranty I bought. But Tim and the team did a good thing. They have worked it out and will take care of my car. I know our family will need a couple of more vehicles in the next year or so and my first stop will be with these folks. Oh and I *love* my new used car!!! Every time I drive it I thank God for leading me to it!!

I had a FABULOUS experience here today: Tiara Simmons, Elliott Davis, and Ali Dadrast all worked so hard (for many hours!) to find me the best deal. They were also incredibly patient with my daughter, and had no problems helping to keep her occupied while I was involved in the process of purchasing a brand new (beautiful and perfect!) Jeep. I would never purchase another vehicle from this dealership ever. Ive been put through the ringer and the entire transaction is unacceptable. For what Im dealing with I would not want anyone else to go through this under no circumstances. I had to return a new vehicle because of issues. Then they put me in a second vehicle, which should have been set up as a replacement instead of a trade. The first vehicle showed up on my credit report, which I only had it for around 10 days. As of today, it still is an open loan on my credit report. Also, Im riding around on expired temp tags because no one has the paperwork for the truck I actually have in my presence. Absolutely, horrible experience. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS DEALERSHIP.Whats amazing is Darcars replied with a customer service number. I called customer service on April 26, and was told to email my complaint, which I emailed a two page letter and no one has bothered to reach out to me yet. But you can respond to this review?

We drive by this dealer all the time, and finally decided to stop in this week. We met with Cole, who was extremely down to earth and easy going. We didn’t feel any pressure at all with him! We ended up taking the car for a test drive and then Cole came with us to another Darcar location. When we got back to Waldorf, Cole and his manager Mike worked with us to negotiate a price on a Jeep. From start to finish our experience was phenomenal. This place is military friendly, and truly seem to care about their customers. Unfortunately we weren’t able to purchase the Jeep right now, but we will 100% be back in a few months to work with Cole and Mike again. I highly recommend this dealer and couldn’t have been more pleased with the service we received.

If youre looking for a used car stay far away from this dealership. I purchased a 2016 vehicle from here in August and have had many issues since. The battery died after a week of driving the vehicle, a couple weeks after that the check engine light came on for a bad O2 sensor. When I took the car in to be serviced (at a certified shop at this point as I had little faith in these guys now) they found that the transmission fluid was basically black so that had to be changed. The latest issue was that the front rotors were installed incorrectly causing these to be replaced after a couple months of owning the vehicle. All these items would have been addressed and fixed by a reputable dealership before even selling the car. They didnt even fill the gas tank up when they sold me the car. The manager Chris Goins has been unresponsive in my multiple attempts to have even a portion of these problems rectified and reimbursed (even with statements and records of the services that were needed). Im not sure how the new car department is but the used car department is truly awful. Stay away from these guys, They re just looking for a quick sale and are the epitome of the stereotypical shady used car salesmen. I would give zero stars if I could.

I set an appointment up for 3pm 5/8/2020, verified the car I wanted was there and drove an hour there( I left work earlier to do this). Arrived early to wait and be told they are pulling the car up. The salesperson says the vehicle was no longer there and that they had a similar car for me to look over( which was already put in the front) I was in the market for a Liberty not patriot. No finance just cash to buy the car. I was told I could wait for the car because it would be back by 5pm. I did not wait for the further disappointment. Later that SAME DAY, I received an email stating the car had been sold.

After delivery, I was told they would get me the second key fob. I still haven’t received this and when I call no one can answer my question. Talking to anyone at the dealer has been difficult, when I do get through to someone I have to leave a message however no one ever calls me back. I purchased my vehicle on May 14, 2020. Once I finally received a call back after I called in the middle of July to check on my tags and title and found out that they hadn’t even been submitted for transfer. It is now September 24, 2020 and I still don’t have a title or tags for a truck I purchased from this dealership in May. I also now have expired temp tags and still don’t have the secondary key fob. I am very disappointed in the customer from this dealership.

This was my second visit. The first time parts guy was on lunch, nobody acknowledge me or even greeted me. Second time, I got service, but it took over 40+ minutes to find out they had to order the part I needed due to their computer being down. I will never go back to this dealer again!!

He explained the necessary work that needed to be done regarding the mileage I had on my car. He didnt try to sell me work that was not yet necessary. Fantastic used cars! They will try their BEST to get you in a car TODAY! I bought 2 cars from here, a new Chrysler 200 limited edition 2017, pearl blue, almost white interior...floated like a newborn baby! I also bought a used Jeep Cherokee, 1 owner, a beauty, fully loaded, custom paint, 4 wheel and over wheel drive, sound system etc....fantastic condition, no problems, great price! JESUS CHRIST. If I could give the service NO stars I wish I could . The receptionist ( Kayla ) Is very rude and disrespectful. I called about a Jeep Wrangler that was shown in stock and as soon as she answered the phone . She hung up immediately, then I called back and she rudely answered and said “ NO THAT CAR IS NOT IN STOCK GOODBYE” I had to call back on a later date to figure out who I was originally talking to. I was so stunned by this service ! I will never recommend here to anyone !

Totally in awe of the experience I had. Made an appointment to come see the jeep I thought I would be purchasing left work early to make this happen had all my paper work together, only to arrive and have the Sales Manager Adel Milani tell me the car was not there and would not be there till 3pm on Thursday 2/13/20. They made no effort to help me in any way and was also told I would probably need my dad to help me buy this car. First these people do not now my finances or any of my life. I felt like I was being treated as a 5 year old. If I was a male coming to this dealership I would have been treated with more respect. I will not be returning to this dealership they lost a sale, and will not recommend anyone to deal with them. They did not any offer to compensate for the car not being there even though I made the appointment for that day. How can you buy a car if it is not there. Went there to buy this car yesterday guess I will find one somewhere else that has more respect for the female buyers

If youre looking for the old school car dealership feel where you still are allowed to look at the numbers, negotiate with a real person, and actually understand the financing process, this is where you need to go. Ive never met a group of individuals so dedicated to getting you into your car as well as the service being spot on. This didnt feel like a sales deal, it felt like a family who cared about you. Give them time and let them work. Ali is one of the best finance guys out there and as for sales, Tim really listens to your needs and finds whats best for you. NOT EVEN 1/2 A STARI had the worst experience with the service Dept. I have been having issues with my 2015 Jeep showing different Warnings such as first time was have transmission and brake serviced. When I took it to them they claimed the service tech did several test drives and nothing was showing up on the computer so as far as they were concerned there was no issue. When I started my Jeep to leave the mileage read the same mileage it did when it was put on the tow truck, so test driving several time didn’t even equal one mile. I called the customer service department for Chrysler and they told me if I had any more issues to take it back to the dealership immediately. Over the weekend I experienced trouble starting my Jeep several times. I return to the Jeep dealer yesterday to explain to them I was having a different issue. Chris ( in the service area) claimed he was just getting ready to call me to let me know if I had any more issues with my Jeep I should take it to another dealership so a fresh pair of.eye could look at it. Not letting me to let him know it was a totally different issue. This time it not starting, he proceeded to tell me I needed to take it to a different dealership. At that time I called Chrysler and they agreed that I should take it to a different dealership also. So when I got ready to leave my jeep would not even start at all, when I went back into the service department Chris was not at his desk so I asked if he could be paged. After waiting at least 10 minutes I went into the sales floor and talk to a sales person and explained that my jeep would not start at all. He proceeded to get somebody to come out and jumpstart my Jeep. The sales person explained that he thought it was my battery and then if I left my car there they would give me a rental and would be able to look at it on Thursday. And it wasn’t covered under my warranty! I left and took it somewhere else and had my battery changed and so far it hasn’t had any issues. Poor service from the service Dept and if the sales person wouldn’t have come out to help me I don’t know what I would have done.

Went to look at a jeep wrangler today and was pretty much ignored and had to go in and find a salesman. The salesman offered me absolutely zero input and then he suggested looking up to see what else was available to them. The man sitting behind the computer was in absolutely zero hurry to help. I know I look young but come on dont treat potential customers like that.

I had a terrible experience with the service department. I dropped my Jeep Sarah’s off in the morning, per my scheduled appointment. I used their shuttle service to get home. By 2:00 pm I had not heard from them.... I called back at 3:00 pm to check the status and was told that they have not looked at my vehicle and that it would be another day. I told them that I was coming to get my vehicle and that I could not take off work another day.I am not one to write reviews, but this was ridiculous. They should have called me as a courtesy to let me know the status. If I had not been persistent in calling, they would not have been in touch at all. I will try different Jeep service department.

This dealership has had my car for over a month. They told me they would cover my rental until my case was fixed. My car still isn’t fixed and they are trying not to pay for my rental. I have children I have to take to school and just the one vehicle. It is unacceptable and unfair that a service department can be so nasty and unfair to its customers.

Had a pretty awful experience with these guys - they acted extremely uninterested in selling anything. I was very clear that I had a check ready, price was good, whole nine yards, no haggling no waffling, I wanted a specific Jeep and had the money ready. I had to call them several times each week to get an update on where my vehicle was, they never once contacted me.To top it off, they sent someone who couldnt drive a manual to pick up my Jeep, and they burned out the clutch. they lied to me saying it was a factory defect that required repair to be in new condition. Only after several rounds of messages did I finally get out of them that they damaged the vehicle. pretty dishonest.almost 4 weeks out I still dont have my deposit back either.took my business elsewhere to a dealership that was actually interested in selling something (and not breaking it).

Very poor customer service! No stars to be given, if Google allowed. Today, I arrived at the DARSCARS Chrysler Jeep Waldorf to inquire about test driving and buying a new used car. I have always been a fan of Jeep, as I previously owned one years ago, and I was seriously considering purchasing another. After parking the car around 3:15pm, I was approached by a young man who came out of the main office building. He said he was there to answer any questions I had presently as they were closing and would not be able to assist me today. He did not tell me his name nor did he ask for mine and his demeanor seemed less than pleasing. He made me feel like I was wasting his time. I told him I was in the market for a Jeep and wanted to test drive a Cherokee. He said I could not test drive any vehicles as they did not have any tags. He did not say whether they will have tags in the future. I said ok, he nodded, and walked back into the building. He never greeted me properly, told me his name, or gave me a business card for future inquiry, which has been the standard customer service I received at other car dealerships, especially in Waldorf. And furthermore, this is totally unacceptable, especially as someone who works in customer service. I also checked the closing time and online (google) the dealership closes at 5pm on Sundays; not around 3:15pm, as I was told. And it astonishes me, that a DARCARS dealership would not to able accommodate a potential customer on the weekend. I honestly feel discriminated against as a single female and a person of color. I felt he judged my buying power right when I stepped out of the car. I seriously hope this can be rectified as the car industry is a very competitive business, especially now that you can purchase new cars online without a dealer. DARCARS, your potential customers deserve better and I hope no one else has to endure this kind of misconduct in the future.

Nice people but horrible service . I brought my car in for a recall. I was without a car for a week due to staffing issues . I explained my issues with the car when I made my appointment and voiced my concerns. I requested to have my car checked out with my recall repair. It is apparent that was not done in this case. I received my car back after a week of a rental car and paying out of pocket for a manufacture recall. My car worked for one day, Shortly after my car stopped on the highway while I was in route home. My car should of be evaluated before it left the shop. And any other issues with the care should of been brought to my attention. Instead this dealership allowed me to leave with a malfunctioning car, and I was almost hurt due to the negligence. I wasn’t even offered or made aware of services . I am highly disappointed. Horrible first impression.

I had to wait on the phone for over 10 minutes during my 30 minute lunch break to be connected to the service department. I say over 10 minutes because I never spoke to anyone. All the time I am listening to a recording about how Darcars value their customers. I called back twice after waiting 5 minutes to be told each time that there was only one person answering phones in the service department. The receptionist was very snappy. I have purchased two new vehicles from this dealership but will not be purchasing a 3rd. If this is how you treat your valued customers.............

Worst customer service ever they need a negative star for these people! Sold my wife a vehicle that she was paying for in cash and put someone with financing in front of her and kept her there late and as soon as she walked out the door told her be careful its dangerous around here locked the doors and turned off all the lights. Wife and kids standing there in the dark with the vehicle on E because they refused to put gas in it, and I had to take the vehicle in for service in the 1st week we had it and had to fight with the dealer to activate the extended warranty I already paid for told me it would take 30 days to activate (a lie). Now 45 days later my temp tags have expired and after calling them repeatedly over the last 20 days to get them. run right by this dealer to anyone else.

Excellent experience with the Darcars Chrysler Jeep in Waldorf Maryland service department . I enjoy and appreciate making appointments to get my oil changes it makes things work out so much better for me in my busy daily life schedule. Called here multiple times to schedule and oil change and a recall inspection. Took me 5 tries to even get to the operator and every time I would get sent over to the service department, I would get hung up on immediately after they answered the phone.I was hoping that I could use them since they are closer to my house but after this first impression, I’ll definitely stay away.

HORRIBLE BUSINESS conducted at this placeSo long as you have a downpayment they’ll put you in anything even damaged vehicles. the moment you complain they treat you horribly. i was told by Ali that he, doesn’t have time for my issues. I only had my car for 3 days at that time AND they’ve been giving me the run around on getting service to look at it. save yourself and CHOOSE A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP!

I purchased a Mopar tire warranty with my vehicle (in Tysons Corner), less than 9 months ago. My tire had a slow leak. Every day Ive had to fill it up from 26-29 psi. I made an appointment with Jeep Waldorf (closest to my house) and they couldnt get me in for a week. When I got to the appointment they then told me nothing was wrong with my tire. They rudely told me they didnt accept the tire warranty I purchased either. Eventhough the Jeep dealership (Tysons) I purchased the warranty from told me any Jeep/Mopar dealership would and should. So I then took the vehicle to Alexandria Jeep (second closest to my house) they told me they wouldnt accept the warranty either. At this point I decide to drive back to Tysons (nearly an hour from my house) They were extremely helpful. They stated the other dealerships definitely could take the warranty and obviously chose not to. Again this is a Mopar warranty. Jeep is a Mopar vehicle. I will never go to any other service department for anything again. Tysons was the best. Their service department is very professional and helpful. They saw the warranty information and told me not to worry about anything, they would do what they needed to fix my vehicle.I would never recommend going to either Waldorf Jeep or Alexandria Jeep for service.

The heat in my car stopped working so I took it to dealer to check out. I was told that the radiator had a leak and needed to be replaced and that is why the heat was not working. I authorized the replacement of the radiator and flush coolant. I also authorized an oil change. When I picked up car 4 days later it still had no heat and steering wheel was shaking while I drove, which is not how it was when I dropped car off. When I called another CSR who said he was not familiar with the case suggested I return car and that the steering wheel was probably shaking because when an oil change is done tires are rotated and they may not have been balanced properly so I should return car. I returned the car as suggested and received a call saying now they think it is the Heater Core that is causing the heat to not work which is not what they initially said and quoted me a new price and said that I needed four new tires which was the reason for the steering wheel shaking. When I asked if they checked the car before I picked it up initially to make sure heat was working, I was told no. I also asked why they did not call me when they rotated the tires and found that they all need to be replaced and was told they did not know. I then spoke with another CSR who had the manager call me and said he could not explain whey they said it was the radiator and did not check the car before I picked it up to make sure heat was working. He also could not explain why when they rotated tires they did not call to let me know all tires needed to be replaced. He said guess we need to do some customer service training and that the initial CSE had just started in October. I had never had such terrible service at this Chrysler who had been servicing all of my car for over 15+ years. Matter still unresolved. After I filed a BBB complaint they are now saying car was checked and had heat but still cant explain why I was not notified that my tires needed to be replaced-which is not correct - One tire needed to be replaced not all four. They refuse to take responsibility for their lack of communication between mechanic, customer service rep and customer!

Very rude and bad customer service from the managers. My friend went there twice, first time I was with him, they were not very friendly and the second time he went with his family to actually buy a car, they managed to anger and send them off. They need to hire better sales representatives and managers specifically.

I got a used van from here and turned out to be the worst experience Ive ever had with buying a used car. After a week i realised all the tires were bad even if they looked good. Now i have to replace all tires. Checked out the engine and it was bad. I had to have all the fluids and spark plugs replaced. The plugs seemed like the original spark plugs with 2x the gap in them. After a month and half the water pump and tube for water pump went bad. Went to another DarCars service center and they said the whole exhaust system is no good and would cost $1600 to replace only after 1 and a half months of owning van. They even said there is no way possible the vehicle could have passed MD inspection with exhaust that bad.I feel taken advantage of by this place. I feel like i bought a crappy car from an auction. Now i owe alot of money for a terrible car.

The people were extremely nice and polite, however, my experience was extremely disappointing.Before visiting the dealership I researched their website and found 2017 Jeep-stock# 769506 Vin 3C4NJDBB6HT646053; MSRP $29,380 Savings -$6596=$22,784. We test drove the jeep and decided this was the Jeep.After 3 plus hrs the finance person kept the price at $29,389 and only minus $2200 after tax, license etc was added it was over $27,000.On their website, they advertised Jeeps under 20,000 hiwever, not one was on their lot.Is this what they call bate and switch?

Great experience purchasing a vehicle after being extremely disappointed with the previous two dealerships we tried to purchase from (GlenBurnie Browns Toyota and Waldorf Hyundai). Sales person John was very nice and sales manager gary was very sweet and genuine also. We arrived around 10AM and we were on our way by 12:40PM and they even brought in the vehicle I wanted from another location. The only reason I gave 4 stars (would of gave 4 1/2 if possible) is because there was some damage to the vehicle we didnt know about until we saw it in person (although its not so much of the waldorf locations fault but would of been a nice added bonus if the DX driver looked it over before bringing it down) and there were some specks on the back that were not able to be cleaned because of the weather so I was told to come back on a nicer day so they can get that taken care of. As long as they stick to their word I will change this to a 5 star review. Also the gas tank was pretty much on E. Again, not too big of a deal as it only cost $30 to fill it up with mid gas but would of been nice to at least get half a tank. Overall very pleased though. They were very warm and welcoming from the time we walked in until the moment we left. Another added bonus was they let us test drive on our own! I hate when there is a pushy sales person in the backseat. Just makes things uncomfortable. Awesome job Chrysler Jeep Darcars of Waldorf!
