Before I took my boat in to get it fixed, I called several times to discuss questions about the problems my boat was having. I also called other repair shops. D & S was the most accurate in their responses to what the problems turned out to be. They were also very professional every time I called. I then took my boat there to get it fixed, and I received the same great customer service from all staff members while there. They fixed up the issues, and their rates were very reasonable. I hope I dont have to get my boat fixed any time soon, but if I do I will definitely go back to D & S. Thanks!!

I have spoke with the service writer a couple times and actually spoke with the owner today when dropping off my boat for a winter service. Very friendly staff and very knowledgeable. I was told of some of the suggested things that should be done as I was not familiar with this new to me boat. A good friend of mine has been using these guys and they are the only people that he trusts to work on his boat.

I had a seized steering rod which required the motor being removed from the boat. They discovered it was both the rod and the tilt tube that were rusted out. They charged me 5 hours of labor ($95/hr)and about $400 worth of parts for a new steering cable/rod/helm and tilt tube. They also fixed some electrical issues and brought my trailer up to passing inspection. It took about 12 days for all work to be completed. When I picked up the boat, the tech that had worked on my boat stayed past closing time to talk about what he had done and answered all my questions. All repairs look professional and i feel the total cost was reasonable. They also include a year warranty on their repairs. I would definitely recommend them!

We had a Mercury outboard repaired at D&S as well as some fiberglass work and some electronics work. All the work was top notch. The fiberglass work was flawless and invisible. The engine work was impeccable and came with an excellent warranty. After the serevice we had a problem with the engine unrelated to the repairs. Jay went above and beyond to help me resolve the issue. FAR above and beyond any service I have ever recieved. I am very grateful and D&S has earned a lifelong customer. Thank you Jay!
