Solomon with MB Trucking went above and beyond to accommodate my move. At the last minute I was called into work and could not only meet the movers at the storage unit, but also had to leave prior to their arrival. I communicated my issue with Solomon which he was extremely understanding about. He offered to protect my assets until the movers arrived and arrived at my apartment in time for me to leave for my mission essential position.Afterwards, photos of both the condition the apartment was left in as well as the condition of the packed storage unit was sent. He then emailed me to inquire as to how I wanted my storage key returned.Im new to the area and this was by far the best service and consideration I have received since arriving. I usually don’t write google reviews but I feel this company deserves it. MB movers were excellent. They arrived on time (earlier then us, even!) to our storage unit, and moved the entire unit quickly and efficiently. They were very professional and fast! Moved many large items such as TVs and appliances with out a single scratch. Solomon was very kind and fit us in at the last minute due to a schedule change because of a snow storm coming. I would highly recommend this company and we will be using you all again!!

I had to move a LARGE piece of furniture last minute, and luckily they were able to come out the next day to move it. The movers were exactly on time, and they carefully wrapped and moved the furniture expertly. They were very professional, and they did a fantastic job! The price was very reasonable as well. I will be using them again next time I have to move something.

I would avoid this company. I scheduled my move and called to confirm the day before the move. When I checked my email I noticed an invoice sent to me for $75. When I spoke to the owner to confirm the move, I asked if I needed to pay it and he said yes so I paid it thinking it was a deposit of some sort. On my move day the movers were great. They did show up late and broke one item, but overall they were great. They did not advise me of a start and end time but of course I kept note. Once the move was complete, I was told by the moves I would receive an invoice. The owner called and asked about the movers and I replied, they were great. He said he would send the invoice I called him back to ensure the $75 would be deducted. He said the $75 was an administrative fee. First he said it covered supplies used for the move. I told him no supplies were used as I had my own. Then he said it covered gas and insurance. I should mention that the movers showed up with a rental truck from Enterprise. The company is a few miles from my house and the distance of my move was only about six miles. I informed him that I should have been informed about the fee and he told me it was in the moving agreement. I then asked to see the agreement or contract with my signature and he said, one does not exists. I replied, exactly, there is no agreement. He then attempted to send the invoice twice and could not and asked for my credit card number over the phone. I did not agree to that. He then asked me to cash app him the money. I told him I would try, I but usually do not use that app. He then then fixed the issue with his square on his end and did send the invoice. Of course he rounded the number of hours to six. I did pay the invoice and its not worth going to court for, but I will never use this company again.

NIGHTMARE!!!!! A move that has taken me only 5 hours to pack and unpack in the past is now going into hour 6 with no end in sight. Of course the fact that I was told they would be here between 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. and they didnt show up until 10:30 a.m. wasnt a good start. On top of that, instead of the 5 or 6 men I had contracted for I got 2 who clearly didnt know how to move let alone pack a truck (which is now being unpacked and repacked because someone with actual moving experience showed up in hour 4). Since my furniture is going into storage I contracted for furniture bags and then shrink wrap. Still waiting to see a bag! No TV boxes either, even after the manager said he forgot them and had to get the from the office. What he came back with were two boxes about 16 x 16 that hes going to cut down to protect the TVs. Hate to tell him but two 16 x 16 boxes cut down or otherwise will not protect 2 TVs sized 42 and 48. Guess he doesnt care because hes vanished and is no where to be found. Who knows what time this nightmare will be over tonight because theyre not done packing things the right way and we still have a 1 1/2 hour drive (one-way) to the storage unit. Did I mention the damage done to my walls? Im not talking about the usual dings and bangs you expect when you move, I am talking about serious gouges that will require drywall repair. Finally finished at 7:30 p.m. with the storage unit packed in such a way I will never find anything.If you use this company DO NOT BELIEVE anything Solomon or Dominic tell you - even if its written into the contract. I now have furniture sitting in a storage unit that is not in the furniture bags they promised (and I paid for), not shrink wrapped and standing on its side. Glass top tables and mirrors totally unprotected. I am going to have to hire people that know what theyre doing to cover furniture and repack the storage unit so my furniture isnt ruined. Obviously, you cant leave things stored like that for any length of time. And, the nightmare that is MB Trucking and Moving continues!

Wonderful job! Very friendly and efficient movers with a family-like demeanor. Tony and crew took care of us during a complicated move (one location to two locations). They planned the move and packed our antiques and family heirlooms in a well protected, sensible manner. Their prices are very fair, one of the best in the area. My Costly DilemmaI booked and confirmed my moving date with Solomon for July 30, 2020 @ 12:00pm. Everything we discussed has a paper trail. However, the day of the move, he wanted to changed it to the following day. I was a tad-bit bothered because of the short notice and I saw rain in the forecast for the next day. I mentioned that, and I’m pretty sure he could hear my concerns in my tone so instead offered me 3:30pm that same day and I accepted. Not to mentioned, I accepted and scheduled other services he offered as well. At approximately 4:30pm, I called regarding his offer for a cleaning service and to touch bases about the move. He assured me that they were definitely coming and that it will be “after dinner,” whatever that meant, I was still patiently waiting. I never imagine anything that could go wrong. Besides, I was simply planning to move out that day and nothing else. Plus, I mentioned to him that I had to be gone by July 31st, so he must on his way, I thought. Around 6:30pm, I received a call from a young man who identified himself as a worker from MB Trucking & Moving, to tell me that they would arrive around 7:30pm. By this time, I was appalled and my dilemma began. Soon after his call, the weather forcast an up and coming rainstorm. I called the number back, no answer...I called Solomon, no answer. What am I to do!?! It was drizzling when the young man returned my call. I was panicking and concerned about their mission. He mentioned that they can work in the rain but I was not having it. I have a lot of cardboard boxes and nice furniture! He apologize but I did not want to be patronized. Furthermore, rain is in the forecast for the next 7 days...Anyway, they showed up in the rain and the storm was steadily approacing so I refused their service. Shortly thereafer the storm arrived, it was pouring! Now, I had to call my landlord, SMECO, and Verizon back to ask for more time that I have to pay for; I paid for a storage unit that isn’t being used. And I will take the $75 that I paid MB Movers as a loss because I don’t want to have anymore dealings with them. I like professionalism, respect, and courtesy, one is no good without the other.And as far as the good reviews about this company, I wish I was you.RESPONSE TO MB’s RESPONSE:I did not need your service in June 2019, my initial contact was October 2019. I had to cancel with you only twice, not four, due to failed home contracts. Both times you were notified well in advance. I allowed you to hold the admin fee because you seemed to be professional and I knew I would be moving eventually. Yet you mention my cancellations like you were inconvenienced somehow.This last cancellation was due to my dissatisfaction and my concerns about my property being moved while it was pouring.Side Note: Remember, that’s why I was relunctant to do it the following day, because rain was in the forecast. Side note #2: and a little concerned about the young men safety while working during a thunderstorm.I have record of missing 1 call from you, not several, which we discussed on my move day. I didn’t recognize the number ad you didn’t leave a message so I had no idea you were trying to reach me. Besides, we’ve been communicating via email so that’s what I would’ve expected.I understand that you are a “business” but all parties involved should come to an effective agreement to be honored with respect. Keep that in mind. Your business will always need customers to flourish. No way around that.With that said, to top off my dilemma, you have the audacity to respond with false allegations instead of making it better, wow! I have too much integrity to falsify this review. I used this company to transport a grill I purchased from Lowes for a graduation event.On the day of the event, the grill I purchased did not fit into my vehicle even after I had assistance from an employee to take it out of the box. After several attempts and no luck, I contacted MB Trucking and Moving and explained my situation and how urgent it was for me to have this grill delivered. Surprisingly, I was told they could transport it that day (on such short notice) and they did. Not only did they deliver it in a timely manner, but they also assembled it. My daughter’s graduation event began on time, as scheduled, with the help of this company.I was very satisfied and pleased with the professionalism and services I received. I will definitely be using this company again for a future move or delivery.

I just happened to find this company on Yelp. My goodness, they were such a god-send. I had to call this company to clear out my entire house and they responded immediately. Within minutes, the owner was out to give me an estimate (literally). Scared of what the price would be for such a massive undertaking on short notice, I was pleasantly surprised that this company was affordable. The day of they arrived early and the staff were pleasant, friendly and respectful of my house, my belongings, and my family. In addition, this company took the extra time to go the distance to ensure I was taken care of on things I overlooked. For example, I overlooked the amount of items that would need to go to goodwill and the dumpster. They took care of that for me. I would, without hesitation, highly recommend them to anyone in need of moving services.

MB Trucking and Moving helped me out when another moving company left me in the lurch. I had scheduled my move over a month in advance using Uhaul Moving Helpers. After several attempts throughout the week to call the vendor I sent an email on Thursday before my move which was Saturday to try to get confirmation of my appointment. The vendor sent me a response to my email on Friday at 5:53pm that said that they would not be able to make it.I was set to pack and relocate to another state the next day. I called MB and spoke with Mr. Solomon at 7pm. Anthony and Wayne showed up Saturday afternoon and did an amazing job!! They are both perfect gentlemen and were extremely skilled in packing, moving and loading. If I was ever in the DMV and needed movers I wouldnt use anyone else but MB. Those guys were heaven sent and made my day.

Our apartment and storage facility to our new home. Solomon was super friendly and personable and gave us an extremely fair quote. Our closing date on the new home was repeatedly delayed and Solomon was patient and very accommodating with scheduling. (We closed on the home Friday evening, called Solomon on Saturday and he schedule us for first thing Monday morning.Dominic, Tony, Tyreek (Im sure I spelled that wrong, sorry), and Wayne were extremely punctual, friendly, courteous, cautious and professional. They arrived at 9:15 for our 9:30 appointment, assessed the items to me moved and got right to work. Even though some of our items werent packed properly (thanks Mom) it was a challenge that they took on with no problem.All of our belongings were carefully wrapped and cared for including a large number of heavy books, dishes, art work and mirrors. These guys were the best! This was my first time hiring a moving company. I truly wish I would have found MB Trucking & Moving sooner, I would have saved me a lot of stress and money. Solomon gave me more than a fair price. Domonic, Wayne and Tony were SUPER!! They moved my things with care as if my things were their own. They were patient and took the time to wrap my furniture, which I was really worried about my memory foam mattress getting dirty or torn. I was really impressed that they took extra time with it. I even heard Domonic say make sure it does not touch the ground. MB Trucking & Moving is an honest company...a few days before my move I dropped an expensive ring behind the dresser and couldnt find it. Tony found it and gave it to me. Just before everything was all packed in the truck, Solomon showed up to make sure everything was going well. My experience with MB Trucking & Moving was a pleasurable one. They are professional and made my move stress free. I will be hiring them again to help clean out my two storage units. I cant say enough good things about MB Trucking & Moving.
