Everyone always wishes for a restaurant to grab a quick salad and soup. Lettuce is just that place but they also offer a small selection of pastas and sandwiches so there really is something for everyone. Plus, the half n half combo might be the best deal in all of Walnut Creek. I love the Napa salad or the Big Cobb salad plus the Butternut Squash soup. Perfect for any day of the week and any season of the year. The owners are great and the service is superb.

Just the right ratio of meat vs veggies in their salads so my appetite is satisfied. Plus they are always great tasting without gloppy salad dressings. More fruity deserts please!

Joyful staff… even through the unchartered waters of the pandemic and the lingering staffing shortages caused by such. Always fresh delicious food, large portions, reasonable prices and great for dine-in or to go orders. One of my favorite “go to” places.

You cant eat inside but the outside dining area is open! Holy moly this place has great salads but the pasta is also just as fantastic! We enjoyed the Parmigiano, garlic bread, a large Napa salad with fresh berries and dessert! .. also there is plenty of tables outside to enjoy on a nice day!

Love this place! A great variety of freshly made salads, soups, and sandwiches. I was most impressed by their desserts. I have tried the Banana Chocolate Chip Donut, Strawberry Cheesecake Bars and Chocolate Brownie. They all were delicious and I honestly cant tell you which was my favorite. Yum!

Lettuce has become one of my weekly go-to spots for lunch. Great for both a quick to-go sitting the work day, or a dine-in to take out of town friends. Wonderful fresh salads and sandwiches with seasonal options. I love their 1/2 & 1/2 combos. And the staff and owner are super nice and attentive.

Lettuce had always been on my list of safe restaurants. They have recently changed the quality of ingredients they use. The meats are no longer fresh, and the oils are of lesser quality. I ate there today and have been in a ridiculous amount of pain since eating their now sub-quality food. I am saddened that I need to cross them off my safe list.

I heard a lot of good thing about this restaurant so finally me and my husband tried it for lunch. I am giving 1 star for the following reasons. 1) noticed staff are not changing their gloves when handling food ( touching other surfaces then touches the food) 2) gave me dirty spoon 3) me and my husband ordered clam chowder ( see picture) looks and tasted like mashed potato 4) i ordered the “special meal” (meatloaf with mashed potatoes and steam veggies) for to go, i though the one they have on the display is only for “display” but NO....the server POURED the display plate into container without warming it up at least...the food was COLD.

Good place to have quick fresh lunch you have choices of half soup or salad with your sandwich also good dessert plus friendly service I would recommend this restaurant if you are in walnut creek 👌

I have doing online (To Go) orders of salads through Covid and my orders have always been spot on - correct and well prepared. My only disappointment is if you order for 11am pickup, it might not be ready since the staff is also just starting up around that time.

Food & Sevice was great; very delicious, however, they need to pay attention to the women restroom. For instance, disinfecting the sink would be a good start .....This is the main reason Imrating them a 3 🌟 and not a 4 🌟

They were so nice and helped me when I was impossibly lost, no thanks to Google maps. I had to call twice. :(Sandwiches were also still very good when I finally got there.

They dont use organic ingredients & their choices for salad toppers are limited. I doubt there chicken is antibiotic free or their salmon is wild caught! They do have good desserts i can say that. If you want an organic salad, sandwiches, a healthy meal with lots to choose from try Mixt in San Ramon.

This was ok .. the place was a bit expansive for a salad bar and it wasnt as clean as it should be.

Salads - all of them are great. BLT sandwich - perfect. But Ive been going there for years and no ranch dressing. Good thing I always carry a 32 oz bottle.I like their desserts.

It was okay overall for a quick bite (great mushroom soup), but too expensive for the mediocre quality of the ingredients.More specifically, I got a half and half of pasta primavera and the SFO sandwich. Sandwich was mostly bread and lettuce, and the pasta primavera was mostly full of broccoli stalks with very little pasta to speak of.Maybe its just their schtick (they are called Lettuce Restaurant after all), but the food left me feeling more like I was being made a buck on rather than getting a decent bite to eat.This was my experience, but hopefully it wont be yours.EDIT: Oh and theres a parking lot but its not free, so saying there is onsite parking is a tad disingenuous. Just saying...

I love this place. I cant wait to go in and dine! All the servers are so polite. I give them props being a high end restaurant. The only thing I disliked were the bartenders, attitude wasnt all that unless you walk in with a suit and tie ‍

Very aesthetically pleasing on the inside. Staff is lovely, absolutely adore their energy. Had my food to go and it came out faster then I had expected. I got the angel hair pasta with no tomatoes and it tastes great! Has a lot of Italian flavors in it, even though this isn’t an Italian restaurant it made me think of my Nana’s home made cooking. Love it!

A great variety of freshly made salads, soups and sandwiches with tasty ingredients made while you watch. Also some good hot dishes. We really enjoyed the apple strudel with whipped cream. Friendly local patrons.

I contacted Laura to cater a birthday celebration and she did a superb job. The food was the perfect amount, absolutely delicious and right on time. I would not hesitate in using them again.

I appreciate the make-your-own salad option. Its a little pricey, but theres a large variety of greens, add-ons, and dressings. Its great to see that in any restaurant that offers salad.

I only wish there were more locations. Everything is delicious! The staff is polite and quick. The owner is super nice. Make sure to feed the parking meter or park in the structure across the street.

Had a horrible experience with a server there, was very embarrassing, he spoke to me like I did not understand english he spoke very loud towards me, I explained I have been there many times so I understand the procedure. It was embarrassing and hurtful also uncalled for from such a good place that usually has professional workers. When I payed the lady at the register all she said was hes being funny, when I told her I did not think it was funny she said nothing. No apologize nothing. Will not go back to a place with such a immature young man serving the public. There are so many pasta places to eat in wonderful Walnut Creek.

Our car is on automatic pilot when we get close to Lettuce. We cant help it. Its Pavlovian...we are such huge fans - when we are remotely close - we have to dine at Lettuce...twice in one weekend, recently. Extremely fresh and delcious ingredients.Great staff...very popular.

Lettuce is a delicious salad stop in downtown Walnut Creek. be sure to take time and look over the menu, as some of the pre-made salads are a deal compared to creating your own. asking to swap out an ingredient for another of the same tier, seems to be a okay practice. But some chefs are not as forgiving sometimes. highly recommend just getting a salad, as some of the add-ons are a little expensive. Enjoy your time. The apples in front are not for taking, you have to pay for them.

Got to enjoy sandwiches and salads at a catered shower and the food was fantastic, Fresh and delicious. Please open in Brentwood! We need this healthy and delicious option. You would do well!!

Really good food and very fresh. Price point is about $$1/2 depending on what you get and how you get it. They are very fast so if there is a line be patient. Its worth the wait. Wish we had something like this in Tracy. WE NEED THIS IN TRACY *BEGS* COME TO TRACY!!!!

The food here is indescribably good and good for you! Service is excellent. The only reason they dont get five stars from me is the ambiance. The interior is wide open with massive amounts of noise from the open kitchen and the packed tables. Go for the food but dont plan on talking much unless you like to shout! Sitting in their heated outdoor area helps a lot with the noise, but still isnt very restful as there is heavy foot traffic from the mall walking right past the tables. The food is worth it though and I suggest reservations since many others feel the same and theres usually a healthy wait at the door

Great selection if lunch menu items. I had the Sonoma salad which was perfect. I took home a Napa and it a little sweet but still very good. They also have a great selection of sandwich options. Great place for a quick lunch. They have plenty of seating and parking spaces.

We almost passed it up based on the name. If I had not seen it on Google and it listed the type of food. We both got the corn chowder. It was very fresh. The prices are good as well. They have salmon and other meats so not vegan as we initially thought.

The manager seemed to genuinely care about customers although some employees seemed a little less enthusiastic.However, if you really like salads, Id recommend coming here. Obviously if you dont like salads, Im not sure why youd go to a salad restaurant.

Great salads. The portions are huge. I left full and satisfied. I have gone back three times in the last month for lunch and dinner. Would recommend trying half soup, sandwich or pasta with salad. You still recieve a great portion and you are able to try multiple items on the menu.

They have an extensive salad menu, but you can make your own. I didnt think too many people would be here, but it was packed. The salad ingredients looked good, fresh, and staff did a great job mixing. Usually places like this will just throw things in a bowl and dump it out. The portions are big, its a meal.

I got the Roma sandwich which was 🔥, but I also got the butternut squash soup. This was the 1st time I had butternut squash soup so I cant compare it to anything, but I only took 1 slurp and it wasnt for me.

Says it’s able to accommodate gluten free but there were ample opportunities for cross-contamination - including but not limited to errant noodles on the counter and in other prep containers for chicken, etc., and the toast was on a platter on top of the salad prep area. Left disappointed. Did not feel confident the staff would understand how to prep a gf salad.

Delicious salads, sandwiches, soups and pastas. The butternut squash soup is one of my all time favorite butternut soups. The sfo sandwich is so simple but so good. The carbonara is Rich and so delicious. All the ingredients are top quality.

Fresh, healthy, variety and amazing ahi tuna. Nice staff, owner or manager or both is very pleasant and even though the atmosphere is busy, you dont feel rushed. I eat here one a week but I should go more often. I also think most produce is locally sourced which is pretty awesome too.

Fast, healthy but prices are a little high. Clean kitchen, fresh ingredients. The gluten free menu is kind of confusing. Huge servings, you wont leave hungry. My favorite is the half Cobb salad and half chicken sandwich.

If youre in the mood for a salad, Lettuce is a great choice. I go there frequently and my only complaint is a lack of diversity. They have plenty of choices but in the end I wish they had maybe some special salads every now and then. Their soups are great, I love the Mushroom. And their SFO sandwich is also delicious with great bread. Lines are long at times but they move pretty quickly.
