I just moved to Waltham couple months ago and i loved. This comviniun store is the only one near me but there is a skinny indian guy he is so rude really really bad costumer service the worst customer service i ever had and my whole life

Its a weird store. Very convenient to Brandeis, but the owners are a mixed bag. They can be friendly, but they also were closed at 9:20 tonight despite the fact that the listing here says open until 9:30. Two people including myself tried to open the door while the clerk looked at us and basically turned down two sales. I also was in there once when a guy yelled at them because he said one side of the front door was locked and wasnt labeled. At first I thought he was just a jerk, but hes got a point, now that Ive experienced the same thing.

The middle eastern owner refused my money because I’m black. Don’t shop there if you’re black. Support the movement

The store itself is in terrible condition--the inside is unsanitary and run down. The products themselves are very limited in selection, and I suspect there are quite a few expired products too. Prices are exorbitant. Staff are rude and watch everyone like their customers are criminals. There is a $5 card minimum, which is very atypical for this area and this year (2019).

This is a good place to get your small shopping done and get some wine.
