This Costco is great! It is a bit more compact than others in the area but I’m glad it’s here. Parking can be a bit tight it’s right across from a Mass General location so that’s one thing to be aware of.
Consistently great meats and vegetables. High quality products at relatively reasonable price. A bit busy if you visit them on weekends.
Excellent choice if all products and good prices. Ive been a member for many years..Gary L 😀
Great meat. Good individual portions for lunches. Gluten free bread fresh. Big family favorites like dumplings and ravioli in the freezer. But variety tends to vary.
Costco always has good stuff with reasonable price. Every location Ive been has had extremely nice, helpful, smiling staff. (Except in Canada)
The employees are very helpful and supportive. The most part I like about Costco is consistency of the product and the price.
A little chaotic. Different answers from different people
I went in to have an eye exam and pick out some new frames. The process of setting up an eye exam was fast and easy online. The exam itself was wonderful. And I was able to find a few frames I liked, and one that I loved (thats the one I picked!)
Its not like regular Market its different. I think its good for a big family members. Theres clothes also. Appliances its good store. You have to be member to shop here.
Costco Waltham is conveniently located with helpful and knowledgeable staff. Items are well stocked and store is easy to navigate.
Comparatively smaller size Costco. No gas..feels crowded always..
Various food including oriental ones. Always clean and professional.
I have used Costco Pharmacy for 15 years. They have always been helpful and kind. I will continue to use them.
One of our favorite stores! Organic, great quality, unique, innovative, cutting edge produce to whet our whistle! Thanks, Costco! :)
Always a challenge to find a great group of employees at a big box store but this location has done a good job with hiring and retaining good employees. Some have been there for over 15 years and are very friendly and helpful. Selection is good and the store is always organized and clean.
Thats the worst attitude Ive ever seen. The goods in this shop are badly arranged. Theres a lot less variety, and a lot of vegetables and corn are moldy. Theres a really long line at the checkout. Youre wasting your time here because youre going back for a refund. This is my first time become Costco member and I will never trust any Costco.
Very good for wholesale and retail - value for money
We almost going to complete our nine years with Costco. It is a wonderful place for groceries and home products . We like this place.
They are great. Great quality.
Nice and clean. Always have what I need.
Can be crowded at times because of the variety of goods but the bulk rate pricing on many items and holiday gift baskets can not be beat. I live in Worcester and make the trip every 3 to 4 months to restock. The bakery is wonderful as everything is fresh and has no preservatives (muffins and croissants can be frozen for up to 4 months). Also not a bad place to grab a bite (chicken bakes are amazing).
I hope to give ZERO stars for this store. The casher named Martha B gave the worst experience. I give up my member for this year. I bought a lesson, and I will NEVER buy items at Costco.
Costco is generally a nice place to pick up essential items and find new products, but as always with American grocery stores, the bakery is poor, and caters to unsophisticated American tastes. What a place it could be if it revamped that department and introduced quality baked items!
Somewhat better prices sometimes, as compared to other. Not sure why. E.g. school supplies.Z best, in times of all getting more expensive.
Great place I found all I wanted
I’d love to have a nearer store. I live in North Grafton. Could it be possible to have one closer? Thanks in advance.
Costco usually has the best discounts on certain products I need.
This branch is Excellent and staff are are very cordial
Wholesale market with good deals. Nice to be there.
This Costco is very nice although always crowded but thats why people love it. It opens at 10 but people starts to wait at 9:30. If you come at 10:10, you will see people come out with cart loaded with stuffs. Used to buy a lot of supplies and meat. Just found that Costco also has very nice furnitures. True not a lot of choices buy what they offer is really good bargain. From time to time they also offer pretty good discount. I would consider buy my next dining table and sofa here.
Nice variety of products. Seems to always be busy.
Not too many people. Fresh produce. Good selection. Hotdogs and pizza when kids get hungry after a long haul. Wine, beer and liquor when adults get thirsty after a long haul...
Costco saves us thousands of dollars a year and you can’t beat their return policy- don’t like it? We take it back! No receipt no problem!
Good store. Smaller than the Everett store. Has a covered parking lot.
Typical Costco. You buy for bulk not for one or two. That said, a star off for the free samples. Because of covid. Just two different vhps in a bag to go, takes away from the FS charm.
Best Costco in Boston area. The crew at this location is what makes it the best, most of them have been at this branch since its opening 25+ years ago, theyre like family to each other and towards us costumers.
The best store ever
Only if it also had cosco gas station
I visited cosco Waltham cosco for buy nuts and coconut water . Its was amazing shopping experience the nuts are very good and less price compared to other whole sale Mart. Lot n lots of whole sale items are available and especially many things ate really good like men n women socks varieties, dress n frunitures and food items.whole hold papers and meat r also available.
Great selection on all items I can always find what we need. The employees work fast and lines move quickly.
Costco is probably the only big box store that has ever earned my loyalty as a consumer. I do love that each individual Costco has a slightly different assortment even 30 miles apart! The kosher selection here is refreshing and the Costco branded liquor is better priced than anything I can purchase in NH!!! A plus store only complaint is that the food court is slightly smaller than others.
Location can be a miss. The roads next to the Warehouse are terribly full of potholes. Weve started going to BJs instead because of that. My car got a few dings while parked in this Costco parking lot.Good warehouse, but Ive seen customers in the aisles without masks sometimes. Anti-maskers or oblivious people talking on the phone or shouting at their kids.
Clean, everything you could want. Helpful people.
Always great quality and best options for everything
Horrible experience. I usually go to the Everett location (wish I had, it’s much bigger, better customer service and better selection). Our cashier Meghan M was horribly rude and not helpful at all. Seems like she hated her job.
Not too busy today. Lots of good sales on summer items.
A great Warehouse to shopping but need more organic products
One of the worst Costco I have been to... Poor collections... Would rather go to the one in Needham
Just a normal Costco. But I miss their gas stations like the western stores have.
Awesome shopping experience as any other COSTCO. Parking could be bit tricky but it also has parking garage, if you do not want to search for parking right in front.
Ive come 3,000 miles & thankfully Costco is still Costco. Except theres a liquor store inside the warehouse. Were not in CA anymore!
Not as organized as the somerville Costco, but it felt of a larger size and with more options.
Not too busy. Got what I neededParking lot under the building is great on a hot day
Great value. Items in stock and readily available. Easy shopping.
This Costco is fairly similar to most. Theyve got their little food court, liquor area and countless isles of goods ranging from the staples like bottled water and TP to unique items that come and go by the month. Where it differs is the pure and utter chaos that ensues during any period of high traffic. The parking lot is an absolute mess, think horns beeping at people backing out into traffic every other minute. Pro tip here, drive in, take a right and go all the way up. Its a nice walk and youll probably end up saving time i the long run. Getting back to checkout, I have never seen lines at a Costco like Ive seen at the Waltham location. Insane. Go on a weekend and get there past 5 minutes after opening and expect to spend anywhere between 5 and 15 minutes waiting to check out. They never open all the registers... I mean, why would they, right? Their patrons keep coming and queue up so I suppose it doesnt matter! The other issue I have with this Costco is their lack of Organic fruits and vegetables. At one time, they had a huge selection, and even dedicated a section of the store to it, but now, its slim pickings... Very odd. To wrap up, I do love Costco as a brand and store, but this Waltham location leaves a lot to be desired. If it werent for the proximity to my home, I would not be coming back.
They accept only Visa credit cards! And not really worth buying your daily groceries here if you are not a big family. Have to buy bulk!Limited choice of products under each category... But I guess that is their business model. If you go without a plan youll end up buying a lot of stuff you did not want to! Pretty decent quality inventory though. I wish they took more precautions for covid related things like sanitizing the carts between customer use and having carts returned from the parking lot to the store entrance. Almost every time the carts in the parking lot are over flowing the return area and two parking spots or so blocked... Sometimes even half the driving lane blocked with carts!I have heard they treat their employees really well! So kudos for that!
Great place if you are on the budget and they have an amazing returning policy! Veggies could be better but everything else is good!
Costco has a lot of stuff there. They have a wine shop, clothes, some books,a little bit of toys, baked goods, and lots more! You buy items in bulk they have bulk size items. So i advice that you come on down to Costco.
Generally like shopping at Costco … until they lost the glasses I dropped off and claimed I never did.
Overpriced, Oversized Packages, Limited Choices, Horrible Staff, why is this place so crowded?
A place for those who buy food in advance and at wholesale prices. There are great suggestions here. There are a lot of attractive baked goods, and in general the abundance of goods is impressive.
This location can be busy at times, but it is clean, stocked well and has a wide assortment of vegan options! The prices cannot be beat and I always buy staples here, but tend to purchase produce from other grocery stores such as apples and oranges as I dont find them to be as fresh/ tasteful here.
The early shopping hours for seniors make this easy. We were home by 10:30, packing our purchases away. Love it!!
Not all items had prices. Ask before buying if youre not sure. It will save you a headache. Otherwise, good stuff, stocking, and clean. Appreciate the Elder Hour.
AMAZING per the norm!!!Love Waltham Costco!! Staff is out of this world friendly!!!
Rude staffs and limited varieties of products.
Great store quality meat /produce and everything under the sun including sunblock at fantastic prices
I love castco
It is Costco. We have shopped here before and never had a bad experience. The prices are reasonable for wholesale and we will continue to shop here for wholesale items.
Quick in-and-out. Staff very helpful and friendly. Store clean and neat. Love belonging to the Club.
Well managed easy to locate items Rates very reasonable
Best combo for quality, quantity and prices. Always get their brand coz it’s the same quality (if not better) as famous brands but much cheaper. The bakery, seafood, cheese selection, frozen food, ice cream, snacks, produce, detergents, vitamins.. everything. Also prescription eye glasses, they have a good variety of frames. And their alcohol, also the best, again, their brand. Can say enough about them. Surely Recommend it!
This Costco location has a lot of variety as compared to other locations around the Boston area. The clothing here is more brand-named and has a greater variety. There is more customer service to help you navigate, and the store stocks very fresh produce! I have not had any bad products from this location so far. Would definitely suggest it and say it is worth the extra driving as well. We pass a Costco close by just to get to this one because of the quality and variety in products. Hope I could help! Happy Thanksgiving! (Their turkeys and stuffing are awesome)
Absolutely bonkers during the weekend, but go during a weeknight and youll basically have the place to yourself. Costco is always worth the trip, great prices and products are high quality.
The Costco staff is wonderful, they are efficient, they are alive(!), very prompt and professional. I felt a bit silly moving about in all directions with the other customers. We all look like mummies, totally lost. Please, let the rain fall, and clean these lands. I want to enjoy the pleasant lazy moments again.
Still no samples, no combo pizzas and no pasta salad.
Big costco but it was super crowded. would have been nice if they regulated the number of people in the stores with covid still going on. everyone could have been stocking up before the storm. this was my first time here and not sure if it is usually this packed.
Costcos is everything that is wrong with this country. The fact that you have to pay a yearly membership for the HONOR of walking into their establishment isnt bad enough, the employees are not helpful, impossible to find anything youre looking for since the aisles are unmarked and the fellow customers are completely rude. One and only visit. Never to return.
Great store would be good if they had signs around telling you what was where, but overall worth it.
All essentials at one place, but a bit difficult to track
Customer service and also optical folks very patient and helpful
I like the store and product quality but my issues are 1. Products that I like (food and other) and want to buy regularly are not available most of the time. Then one day they may appear for a few days and again disappear for months.2. At the tree location in MA that I go, many of the staff are very rude, unfriendly and unhelpful.Like today I was going to buy a tv console, I asked someone to help, he came, hardly moved the huge box onto the flat cargo cart and left. I asked whether I should carry it myself to checkout, he said yes. Obviously, I could move far that box which weighed 3 times my own weight. Then a guy at checkout almost shut at me rudely thai have to buy two boxes of Danish pastry, which was already big and there was nothing saying that you have to buy 2. Disappointed for a while now. Thinking to cancel membership
Quick and easy, found exactly what I needed.
Cashiers - need to be trained in manners, etiquette & human decency aka CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am baffled every time I have visited this Costco in the past two years and today I seriously questioned why am I shopping here for this kind of rude treatment? What was my mistake? I brought over a cart full of items to purchase? It is very clear there is a lack of management, & it is also very clear the employees are not being taken care of, hence the bleed over of pain, & rudeness to innocent customers.
Good prices a d can find what I want.
Always good services, good values, and well organized, imbued with professionalism spirits. I will recommend friends to shop over there.
Good for general items
I love their products and people are always friendly, ready to help but I gave it only 3 stars because during this pandemic months the store has always been packed with people. Too many people. Couple of times I left without getting the groceries.
Great selection... but understaffed. Demand has outgrown the store size. Extremely crowded, staffs are overwhelmed and stressed. Profit must be great, but customer and employee experience is taking a hit.
Very nice store with helpful employees.
Parking was a bit congested compared to other Costcos but I was fine.
