Wonderful experience! The owner was friendly, welcoming, and very personable! She definitely went out of her way to accommodate some diet restrictions someone in our group had, that in itself says a lot about her and how she runs her shop!Tea was amazing, we were very impressed with all the options. And the food was marvelous!There’s also a small shop, where you can buy teas, tea pots, cups, books, scarves, etc. Left with a few items myself!Highly recommend The Tea Leaf for anyone looking for a tea house

Wonderful owner, experience was incredible! We went while celebrating a Bachelorette party, it was perfect. Thank you for everything! Also, to add, the owner went out of her way to make Gluten and Dairy free pastries and scones for the bride to be. We really appreciated it!

Went here with my friend and it was amazing! the lady us super sweet, and there are plenty of tea options as well as desserts. everything tasted incredible, definitely going to need to take all of my tea loving friends back here cause its seriously one of the best places you can go if you are looking for a nice afternoon or morning tea time.

Good food, good tea selection, good service, solid price.

My mom and I had a great time at afternoon tea yesterday. The shop is adorable with a good selection of loose teas, teapots and accessories, and miscellaneous gifts. The tea, scones, tea sandwiches, mini quiches, and desserts were delicious. We especially enjoyed the tart cherry scones and the egg salad sandwiches. The owner was friendly and knowledgeable, and gave us our second pot of tea (each!) to-go. Im looking forward to going back.

The food and tea were delicious. Everything was well decorated from the walls to the napkin rings. Sally was very friendly and even when the place was full of patrons she was hospitable and attentive.

My first time there. Had the Tokyo tea (really good, try it, sweet and warm just how I like my tea). Amazing service, the owner is so friendly and treats you like a guest to a 5 star hotel.

Charming! Tasty food! Excellent tea! The service was a bit slow but very attentive as it was just one person working there. It was luxurious getting to take our time and savor everything. The F on the teapot stands for the type of tea that is brewed in it. I dont remember the name but it was very nice and I had a whole teapot all to myself!

Cant wait for The Tea Leaf to reopen! I had the best scones and cucumber sandwiches there! Its so clean and cozy ❤

Took my daughter in law here as a treat, and we were both delighted! Wonderful atmosphere, delectable eats, friendly owner who makes most of the food herself! A nice respite from the outside world!!

I love it there! The food is fantastic the price is extremely reasonable especially for the quality. The vegetarian sandwiches were to die for and my meat eating friends said that theirs were amazing as well. Sally is so nice and offered to take our group photo! We took our time and enjoyed the atmosphere. I would recommend this place to everyone. I plan on going back soon! If you are looking for something relaxing to do with your friends this is for you.PS The reservation was very simple. I even called when they were closed and left a message. She got right back to me during business hours.

Marvelous authentic tea room!! The owner/hostess is delightful, the food and tea are delicious, expertly prepared and presented with panache!! Highly recommend when visiting Boston!

Cute tea shop, good food and huge selection of teas, both herbal and traditional which is often hard to find. We had the three-course tea and it was all very good; only downside was not being able to pick your food selection - its the scones/sandwiches of the day.

Enjoyed it a few times with my wife... just recommended it to my son and daughter.

The tea and food were excellent. The hostess also managed to get us a full gluten free menu somehow and gave us tips on where to find good gluten free bread!

Terrific place to take the kids they have a childs tea, Ive taken all the kids (boys like it too) and now Im getting ready to take my granddaughter took my grandson back he enjoyed it so much

The owner was very friendly and helpful and wanted to make the stay special. The store was fun to look in and had a good variety of items for any tea lover. The food was good and a great variety. The tea selection was also very good. For tea lovers, it would be a great stop. Free parking behind the shop on 88 Maple.
