This place is hit or miss but when it hits, its a HOME RUN! I love any and all of the hot dogs especially for the price. I was not a fan of the buffalo chicken or then honey mustard (which was more like ghost pepper hot sauce). Cheap and fast (once you get the rush times down) lunch option if you work around Waltham!P.S.- They would have gotten a 4 but our office used to use them for catering every Friday and it was terrible. Going in is a much better taste and more accurate of the good food they produce.

Ran out of too many things before they closed, i mean no italian bread at a sandwich shop? And the lady at the deli counter is too snippy. She should just write down the orders, itd be better for her and the customers. The prices are extremely high. I was not impressed. Some dude was hanging out distracting the lady too, get him out of there.Edit: added a star because the sandwiches were so delicious

I had hoped to get ice cream, but the outdoor window was not in use, and the staff indoors were unmasked. Since Waltham has a mask mandate right now, and this place is blatantly not following that, I chose to go elsewhere.

Overpriced ice cream. $6.50 for a large that is a small at other similar ice cream stands in the area. 3 stars because the ice cream was good...but not that good.

Overpriced mini-market but it saves you from going to a large grocery chain store and taking forever. Homemade ice cream that is extremely overpriced a kitty size ice cream is $3.50 and a small is $4.50 but they are very large servings if that makes a difference dont go unless you have a lot of money to spend

The food and ice cream are great. Cute little spot, especially for Waltham. Unfortunately, there is a woman running the show at the deli that is remarkably unpleasant. (This could be the same woman wearing the Trump 2020 mask cited in previous reviews). The shop is always pretty busy and I know food service can be stressful. But the rudeness exhibited by this one person has our family hesitating to go there on days when we would prefer for their delicious foods.

My first time coming here and I will be coming back. I got a cotton candy ice cream and it wasabsolutely delicous. I need to experience everything they offer.

Employee was rude no customer service at all, then served me a salad with wilted rotting lettuce, rotting peppers and onions… when was the last time you checked your product. I was already long gone as I took my salad to go, HUGE disappointment, I won’t be back.

It was a normal every day visit to get ice cream. Employee was polite and efficient. Ice cream size was ok and flavor was satisfactory. Nothing about this visit was spectacular but nothing was wrong either. Just normal.

Pizzi Farms is not only the best ice cream place in Massachusetts, it’s an amazing deli, market and store, also offering fresh soups. They fill propane tanks, sell pumpkins, Christmas Trees, fire wood and flowers/plants. Waltham is extremely lucky to have Pizzi Farms with all the offerings and exemplary customer service!

Love the food and ice cream here and have been coming for a few years now. However, at my last visit I encountered a woman wearing a Trump 2020 mask. While I am all for free speech, I felt that wearing a political statement at work was inappropriate. All of the other workers had plain or patterned masks on.

My coworker took me here, its really cool! The wrap was awesome and fresh, tons of flavor too. Can easily grab the necessities while youre at it, perfect!

Must try sandwiches.Ice cream is good and creative. I recommend the pumpkin chip when in season!My only complaint: The older employees working the deli can be a bit rude as if we inconvenienced them by coming in while they were trying to work on other things. The younger staff is friendly and eager to help (go to them if you have a question!)

Great quality sandwiches and ice cream, and excellent service. I wish there were more local small businesses like it around. Prices are on the higher side, but it is worth it. Definitely come here to support local business.

Love it, theyve been in business since 1964. Have a bit of everything, all fresh, I love it here. You may come in for one thing. BUT youll leave with a few more, hard to resist!!!!

I’ve lived 250 yards away for almost 6 months and just now tried this place. I don’t really eat sweets so I could care less about ice cream, but their sandwiches are AMAZING. My Cape Cod hot dog was one of the best I’ve had, and my friend said the Big Ben was stellar as well. I’ll be back, seeing as it was a 7 minute walk, round trip.

I was craving a Rachel sandwich today. I was not disappointed. The bread is made there and the ingredient are top notch. Serving size is large. I usually share or save the other half of the sandwich. I ran out of time for ice cream........bummer

Love Pizzis! They always have the best gourmet options. The sandwiches are delicious with an extremely generous amount of meat and cheese. The ice cream is an added bonus and delicious!!

It was only today that I discovered Pizzi Farm Market & Deli. I wanted to get a gourmet quality ice cream and decided to try Pizzis. As it was my first trip there, I did not know where to order the ice cream, so I went inside. I was impressed with the market but the ice cream stand is located outside, on the north side of the building. I chose Heavenly Hash. One adult scoop of ice cream, approximately five ounces, cost $5.00. I think that is expensive but the ice cream was very good, rich and creamy. Next time, I will shop at the Pizzi market.

Whether its for a fresh deli sandwich or an evening ice-cream treat with the kids, Pizzi delivers. Quality deli sandwiches and fresh baked products are unmatched in the area. To avoid a new addiction stay away from the Pizzi brand of salsas and relishes, outstanding!!!!!

We live just down the street and pass by this place almost every day. We often notice a crowd and our first thought was, its probably because of the Mac Arthur Elementary School right across it but then even on weekends, it gets busy so we thought we should stop by one of these days and see what were missing out.We stopped by for a late lunch on a weekday. I couldnt decide what to order and feeling the pressure to order as my turn came up so I asked the lady behind the counter what she can recommend. I just told her I prefer chicken. She suggested I have the chicken wrap and so I did. It was okay. Nothing great.I was like, okaaaay, maybe its the ice cream. So on to my favorite part, dessert---ice cream! I had the coconut and strawberry and again, nothing extraordinary. It was just like having a scoop of my favorite Friendlys flavors at home.The only thing nice was their outside space. I like being able to sit outside and watch kids get excited as they order ice cream and enjoy their treat. It was good to have been able to check it out but I dont think I will be going back anytime soon, if at all.

Great deli and ice cream! All of their sandwiches are excellent. My favorites are the pressed paninis especially the Rachael and Pig & Fig. Theres a great variety of options in the deli and the ice cream shop. The deli does get very busy at lunchtime but you can call in your order or place your order online. My only complaint is that I wish the deli was open 7 days a week and the ice cream shop was year-round. Guess you cant have it all! I highly recommend stopping by if youre in the area or becoming a regular if you move to the neighborhood.

We went this evening for ice cream. They have a good selection of ice cream, sherbet, and sorbet. They also have soft serve and sugar free options. I had the coffee oreo ice cream in a sugar come. The ice cream was delicious and has a good consistency and texture.

Variety of ice creams and each one is delicious! Great place to hangout with friends/family. There is a small lawn where kids love to run around and play. There is also a pokemon gym if you are into that!

Its not the best in the area, but they have a good variety of hard ice cream, soft serve, and flavor burst, and its nice to leave Boston sometimes!Definitely go for the ice cream, but Id avoid their sandwiches from the store.

We were a group of 6 friends that visited Pizzi on a Saturday afternoon to enjoy some ice cream. The ice cream and service was good. Unfortunately, 5 of us got sick the next day or two with throat pain and fever. The only place we all ate together is Pizzi so very suspicious if we got the infection from the ice creams.

Tons of ice cream flavors and a big tent to keep off the rain or heat. Liked it a lot. Didnt expect to find this in Waltham.

Graham Central Station will change your life. Ive only encountered this flavor at Moozys in Belmont and here at Pizzi Farm. Their portions are decent. Gets packed after dinnertime so parking can be a little hectic, but theres always the school across the street to park in.

100% come here during their ice cream season and be absolutely satisfied.Theyve got a great selection of flavors and their serving sizes are super big - my wife and I usually get the kiddie size (which can be done with two flavors) and are full.

Horrible place,, today was the second time there. And it was a horrible experience, ordered 2 hot dogs on my first visit a month ago waited almost a hour,,, today on my second visit, I skipped the food, ordered a smoothie,,They only had 1 young girl working on ice creams and it was busy lunch hour, I waited over 20 mins for a smoothie!!!I had no choice but to stop here because this is where my boss stopped for lunch!!!! Incase your wondering why I came back a second time after Singh a long wait for hot dogs, the first time!!!After all the smoothie was not that good, they used regular bottled peach juice for a mango peach smoothie, thought everything would be fresh in a place like this

Dont bother, thought i would try them but the workers were not sanitary. Their hands and nails looked dirty. That was the first sign to leave. But i was already in line so i kept watching them as they serviced other customers. They were not using gloves, licking their fingers while cutting bananas and licking spoons after serving fudge and ice cream then taking brownie out the package with no gloves on after she scratched her head and face which was full of pusy acne. Well i couldnt think of eating there so i walked away. Maybe because their a bunch of kids and dont know any better. I still wouldnt risk getting sick. Hopefully management will one day change how they serve customers.

The food is great! The ice cream too. It may seem expensive at first glance but the portions are pretty large so once you get your sandwich youll see why it was 8ish dollars. They have a lot of really neat items inside for snacks, like cookies you can mix and match, and canolis. I think ive even seen baklava before. The only reason i didnt give it 5 stars is because sometimes the service is under par of what i would expect from such a small place. The staff is very straight to the point but they over look small things, like a smile, or hey, how are you?
