Ah the lost art of customer service isn’t lost here. A refreshing and pleasant experience in the current culture of “not my problem.” Ordered from clear across the country and had my order shipped with a personal email on a Sunday.

The customer service from Rob was outstanding!! I had to add a section of gutter above my front door and tie into an existing downspout from above. I had no idea what to do, but Rob took the time to use a photo I sent him and put a diagram into the photo and send back to me. I ordered that items he suggested and showed up quickly to my home. First time ever doing gutter work and thanks to Rob at Jay Kay Seamless Gutter Supply it saved me a ton of money and product and service was outstanding. Oh did I mention Rob worked with me well after normal business hours to ensure I had what I needed. Thanks Rob!! Photo attached, house is being painted this week.

Local and big-box hardware stores didnt have what I needed, Jay Kay did and Im grateful I found them. I ordered on a Friday afternoon and had the part Monday (I live in MD). The Y connector was exactly as described and fit the job perfectly. Worth every penny.

I cant say enough about how HAPPY Im with the Y Connector I purchased from Jay Kay Gutter Supply. I was combing the internet and I kept finding Y Connectors only from some pretty shady over sea suppliers. My tenacity finally paid off and I come across Jay Kay Gutter Supply. I called and spoke to a very nice representative who told me they were a small business and their Y connectors were handcrafted right in their shop. I immediately ordered the part. As you could see from the before pictures I was trying to clean up the prior owners sloppy looking sump drainage pipe and gutter downspout that were ruining the curb appeal on my daughters new house. I wanted to connect the sump pump drainage pipe and the gutter downspout so we had a nice tidy look.From the after picture you can see I was able to accomplish exactly what I was hoping for. Thank you Jay Kay for helping me with this project. If I could give you more than five stars I would!!!!!!

I found the Downspout Y Connector from Jay Kay on eBay. Ordered it there. It was fulfilled the same day and delivered a couple days later as expected. While not installed yet, the Y Connector is beautifully crafted seemingly with all the extra attention to detail required for a piece like this to work without a leak. I previously posted a five-star review based on excellent customer service, quick delivery and apparent availability of the parts I needed that were not available at local big-box home improvement stores. However, when I went to actually use them, I discovered that the Downspout Y-Connector _Standard_ Left was not really standard. At least with the Amerimax “standard” turns I bought at Lowes, they did not line-up exactly...probably 5 or 10 degrees off. I had to leave additional play in the joints just to overcome the mis-match with still some residual non-straightness in a few joints.The response from the company was (paraphrasing) that they are as-described on the web site and that everyone knows their custom standard parts are not exact and may need to be tweaked during installation to line-up. OK, so I guess hes trying to say that this is like everyone knowing that a 2x4 does not really measure 2x4, or, as I found-out recently, that 1-1/2 inch clean basalt rock is not really clean and contains lots of fines and dust (my own analogies).But I would have expected there to be some disclaimer or note on the web site about what standard means. Like when I buy HEPA filters for my home air handling unit. I buy 20x20x5 filters, but the web site lists the EXACT dimensions down to the 1/8 so you can tell if it will really fit in your unit.As another heads-up, in case anyone is also trying to do this same thing, the Upright Y-Connector (that my wife called the Saguaro Cactus joint) was also not a perfect fit for my application. I was using it to go around a gutter so that I could have a second story downspout go around the gutter and directly into the drain, rather than just dump into the porch gutter (which was overflowing). Although not specified or implied, I was disappointed that the “arm” did not extend far enough outward to fully go around the gutter. So I had to deform the gutter a bit so I could get the arm extension up to the second floor gutter.

I ordered a y-connector on line and just installed it today. I had a mess where both these downspouts met and this piece was exactly what I needed. It came promptly and exactly as advertised. Great craftsmanship, guys! Thank you so much.
