I had the pleasure of meeting the owner of this Enterprise and he was the nicest stranger/INDIVIDUAL i came across in the last few years . I look forward to him doing my 79 Coupdeville Cadillac because not only have i seen his work but he comes highly recommended .#greatguy #cantwaittillitsfinished
Four years ago I had automotive enterprise restore a 1960 MG for me. This was a frame off total strip and bring it back to it look like new type of restoration. all I can say is I couldnt of been happier with the way the car turned out they did a beautiful job.As for this Michael G I dont know him but a friend of mine does and works with himhe said hes a hothead and a liar. What else youd need to know!|
My car is still in his shop after 3 daysHe said done in 24 hrs. Now lm stuck without a car for the weekend.Went to pic it up and he was CLOSED, Not even a phone call.Yah pretty RUDE. You dont mind waiting till God knows when by all means use his service. NEVER AGAIN.Give NO STARS but this site doesnt have this option.
The owner Bob is a nice enough guy when you meet him... I dropped a load of stuff off for powder coating and was told he would have them done is 1 or 2 days. A week later, numerous phone calls and he even hung up on me once, they still werent done. At one point he tried to tell me he didnt even have my stuff. Then he stopped answering my calls. This place is about 30 minutes from me and I started driving there trying to get my stuff back. The first 2 times I went there he never opened. The third time I went he was there. I asked if my stuff was done and he said no and he couldnt do it because he had a heart attack 3 weeks ago... So he apparently had a heart attack a week before I dropped the stuff off, and he was fine to do it at that time, and now suddenly he cant do it. If you cant do it thats fine, but dont take the job and promise a 2 day turn around if you cant. 2 weeks of my time completely wasted and I still need to get my stuff powder coated... Not to mention all the gas I wasted driving out there numerous times.Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.
I called to enquire on having a few pieces powder coated for a polished brass finish for a client and wanted to ensure that the final finish looked like polish brass. I understand that it would not look exactly like polished brass but wanted to know how close it would be. The owner stated I did not know what I wanted and immediately hung up on me and let my follow up call go to voicemail. I knew exactly what I wanted, and wanted to ensure that the finished pieces would be acceptable for the client. The finish I wanted, a polished brass look not a brass colored finish, is possible with the proper technique as one can determine via an internet search. This would have been the third time of using this businesss services. None of which were completely satisfying. The first time was a set of steel wheels for a car which where sand blasted by him and then coated. There was bubbling in the finish at the rim and center seam on one wheel and the all wheels began showing rust within 6 months. The second time was a steel support for a kitchen counter for a client which should have been a solid dove grey color. It turned out flecked grey as if there was contamination with another color powder. Initially I attributed it to the powder, which I supplied, but on having other parts coated with the same powder by someone else, which did not exhibit the flecked appearance, I concluded it was due to this coaters process.I let the first two instances go but the absolute rudeness of the last, and final, interaction compelled me to leave a warning review for other potential customers.Regarding Bill Tetlows review. I dont know who he thinks I am but I can tell you right now it is impossible for him know anyone who works with me as I work on my own. You sir are committing libel.
