Please do not buy Pokemon cards from this store. Ive read the comments and the replys by the owner. They are not selling them at MSRP. They are selling them at scalper prices and trying to make a huge profit. If their distributor is selling them the cards for over msrp then the owner should talk to them about it or decline the product. $300 for an item that is $100 MSRP is insane and horrible. There is no place else, beside ebay where they are selling Pokemon cards at these prices. Youre supposed to be to a part of the community not against it. Fix the problem, dont be apart of it!Reposnes to owner: you are right distributors sell to you for net you should sell for msrp. Ive worked in retail and re-sale of goods. Small mom and pop places, and we never got gouged by or distributors or given different prices because we are buying less then other places, so maybe you need to find a new distributor if thats the case. Like I said you can decline the product and ask for better pricing, instead you except and try to make the collectors and player pay the price. Fix the problem, dont be apart of it!!!

I just wanted to give a big shout out to the staff at this shop. I popped in to pick up something my husband had on hold. Right away the girl knew what I was after and told another person where to find it. I asked for something in addition to his order and they grabbed it right away... all along joking around with me about how they have significant others who dont the play games/cards either. All around very clean store and great atmosphere!!! Thanks for being awesome, ETERNAL GAMES!

Great place to play tabletop miniatures plenty of terrain lots of space friendly people

People complain and complain about scalpers. But no one talks about the scalpers that work their way up to a store front, get cozy with distributors and scalp straight from the source. $90 for one Celebrations ETB!? A $50 dollar item being marked up $40, I waited in like to get robbed.

Just visited today for the first from Ohio and by far one of the best shops Ive ever been to in the 20 plus years Ive been playing MTG. Staff was very helpful and cool and knowledgeable of the games and products they sell.

This went from my favorite LGS in all of South East Michigan and now I will never go again because of the price gouging on these pokemon celebrations items, 30 to 50 dollars over msrp! Way to build a fanbase just to take advantage of them.

Chris was incredibly attentive and even helped us with DnD minis when he was on his break. This store has a fantastic selection of minis, books, dice, dice trays, board games, and MtG cards. There is even a play area. They also do DnD on sundays.

Solid prices. Willing to order what you need. Clerks are very helpful. Great gaming area too

The place is great and the help is even greater, my only gripe is the store being labeled an OTS store but having very little in its yugioh selection. Other than that I still love the place.

Today was my first time stopping in and they had the game I was looking for. I will be shopping there again as they had a ton of board games. The guys working there were friendly and knowledgeable.

As cool as the store is I cannot give a higher review if they are going to charge scalper prices for pokemon cards. No one should be charging nearly 6 dollars for a pack when the retail price is 3.99.

It is rare to find businesses that become communities, but that is what Eternal Games has achieved. I love taking my kids here to share my love of tabletop gaming with them because I know they will be welcomed. Rudely ejected before even getting a foot in the door for not wearing a mask. Wouldnt have cared much except for the whole rude part. You guys can afford to treat customers like that eh? Good for you, happy to take my money online or elsewhere.Edit: Apparently they cant even be honest about the interaction. I didnt say a word and turned around and left. And they miss the entire point: No amount of signs makes screaming at a customer and pointing for them to leave acceptable, at least if you ever want them to patronize your business.

The few times Ive been to the store the atmosphere was somewhat relaxing. Everything is pretty well organized and they have plenty of games Id never expect to see let alone thought existed. The play area even though I have yet to make use of it always seems pretty tidy. I thought the selection of dice sets were pretty amazing. The only thing is that when shopping here it might be best to bring a shopping tote.

Crazy good stock of games that was extremely well organized. Between Eternal and RIW it shouldnt be too difficult to find LCG content in the area.Service was quite good as well. Will certainly stop in again.

I have to give Eternal Games 5 Stars they are following guidelines to the tee with temperature checks and proper distancing. The staff was accommodating and the store has all kinds of gear and games for your pleasure.

Great employees who are very helpful and dont mind fielding questions. I collect and play MTG and this is one of the best if not the best store in the area inventory and price wise. I also recently played FNM here for the first time and was very happy with the process for both signing up and playing. Not only are the staff friendly but the other customers and players are as well, its a very easy going environment.Would recommend anyone to come here and shop or participate in their events!

I just got into the area in April and was interested in checking a different local gaming store that is pretty popular. Then my cousin told me that Eternal Games was right across the street. I had no idea they were right there because the sign is hard to see. I still never checked out the original game store I had in mind because Eternal Games has the kind of gaming community I was hoping to find.The first time I walked in, I was greeted by both of the people behind the counter and they answered my questions about open gaming. I returned a couple more times to look around. I even brought my son with me on one of the visits because hes big into D&D and they have a nice selection of materials.When I had a question that time, the man working at the counter was doing a trade-in for some MTG cards for another customer and saw me waiting. He took my quick question as to not keep me waiting too long. I appreciated that.Since then, Ive been in several more times and participated in some open gaming. The community was very welcoming to me even though I was a complete stranger. I asked one group if I could watch their game and they invited me to play. I returned and played more with them and every single person Ive met there has been very friendly. I was looking for a great gaming community to be a part of and Eternal Games has provided that for me.Thank you.

I just dont want to see politics when Im shopping for games, ya know? I totally get that you have to do it in order to run your business, but I hope you guys can get back to normal soon. Had an amazing time in this store. Great selection of board games and card games. They have a huge selection of Magic Cards too. They have a demo area with games you can try and they have tournaments. Employees were very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely check this place out.

Great staff, super helpful. The whole place is nice too. I go here on Mondays to play MTG for their modern Mondays thing and its a great time, the people in the tournament were all pretty cool guys too.

We are from out of state but used to live here. We are visiting family and we wanted to get a board game we play a lot back home. This store assisted us on the situation and we were beyond speechless and thankful for their assistance.

Staff is very friendly and the shop has a wide variety of games. That being said, I love how the games are organized on the salesfloor. Its very easy to find what youre looking for. Ive been in some other game shops and they can get wild disorganized. Not here.

I have never had a bad experience here. Staff is friendly and they always have an event going on. They have a large selection of products at a great price as well. I play D&D and they have a great selection of minitures as well as all the main stream books and accessories. They not only encourage gaming at their store they go out of their way to make you feel welcomed for it as well. This is definitely my first stop for tabletop gaming.

This store is wonderful. They have a large selection of demo games and a clean and large playing area to try them out in. My kids (ages 8 and 10) love complex board games and this service allows is to try things out and make sure the games are challenging enough to be worth the expense but also clear enough for the kids to catch on and play. The workers are wonderful and kind and the atmosphere is great.

It was a great experience and a large selection of games and accessories. Next time I would stay a little longer if I hadnt had to catch a bus. Ill be back again.

Went to buy three packs of cards for the current magic card set, the store charged $7.00 per pack bought three packs a week ago from the same store for three for ten. Im very disappointed. I didnt expect price gouging from this establishment.

Went into this store a couple times post-Covid reopening. The store doesnt play around about hygiene and mask wearing - but in a good way. Complimentary hand sanitizer is provided upon entry and a 4 second temperature check follows. They were nothing but polite about all of it on each of my visits.Hey dude, Im sorry but we need to take your temperature real quick.Oh, sure! No biggie!Also, please dont take your mask off while in the store.You got it!That was it. That was the whole interaction.Id rather give my money to people who are safe and following the law than someone who skirts it and risks getting shut down by the health department or, God forbid, causes a local outbreak.I got into painting miniatures during the Covid lockdown and EG has a solid stock of Citadel paints and brushes, along with a decent selection of Warhammer Miniatures and a huge selection of D&D minis. Im making a list of board games to grab as well during my next visit in case of a second-wave lockdown in the fall. Prices are average to competitive, depending on what youre looking for.

The employees were all very great and helpful, answering all my questions about anything they had in the store. One of them even gave me some free decks to help me get in Magic! Definitely going to be coming here again

Nice people who work here. Tons of gaming space. Very popular. Neat portrait on the back wall of the shop, which alone is worth checking out. Other than that,the only real negative is that its somewhat of a sterile environment, with florescent lighting.

Fun, safe and clean. Pokemon on Sundays is a blast for my kids and I appreciate the well stocked cooler of cold drinks. Lots of games and accessories for sale and a friendly knowledgeable staff. Thank you!

I came here for magic cards. They dont have them all but they have a better selection than all of the locations I have visited in the area. They also have many tables for open gaming and a steady selection of coordinated gaming events. Prices are good, trade in value is fair, staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

I was just at the store browsing cards. Decided i wanted to purchase 3 cards. The lady at the counter told me that the whole showcase is priced improperly. Then told me if i still wanted to make my purchase it will be a extra 20 bucks on top of what they were priced at. This business falsely advertises their product. Will not be coming back

The store has a large selection of games and collectibles. There is also a huge section in the back where you can play games out of their lending library or bring your own and you are welcome to bring outside food or drink (just be careful with the games).

Excellent selection of board and miniatures games. Magic and D&D as well. Large edicated game space in the back of store. I attended an X-wing event recently. The staff and organizers were friendly and helpful

Fun and friendly group of people that work here. I go mainly for the table games and I can usually find something I havent heard of. Prices across the board are pretty standard with some exceptions here and there maybe being a little cheaper. Lots of sample games that you can just try in a good environment. Comics are offered here, but not a massive selection, which is fine since they arent advertised as a comic book shop.

Great game store, solid personnel and acceptable prices. They have a good space for gaming and stock lots of miniatures to go with the many miniature based games. Biggest hassle is the extremely small and unreadable sign they use for the store name.

They have a wide selection at great prices, a clean store, friendly staff, a wide selection of games that you can try before you buy, and a HUGE area full of tables to play those games. Decent selection of Games with a smaller selection that makes up a Library from which you can try games out. Lots of tables for gaming. Can bring in outside food (Boston Market and Del Taco in easy walking distance, lots more options not much further away), but they also sell snacks there. Owners and staff are friendly and reasonably knowledgeable.

Lots of space to play minis games, which is great. The rpg groups around us on the weekend were quite loud and the store could use some terrain for minis, but other than that a great store.

Great game store and game space. Theyre eager and friendly to build a real gaming community; demo nights on Tuesdays are open to all, Ive made some great friends there. The staff are friendly, especially Robb and Deb.

Magic the Gathering Trading Card Shop in Warren, Metro Detroit area (NE). Open everyday from noon times or so to around 7, open late (10 pm) Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Mostly modern and standard here but also competitive EDH (Commander) on Sundays at 3PM. Also Vintage once a month on Saturdays. Have a good selection of singles that are worth anything above $1, pretty sure these guys go to a lot of trade shows in the area. Easily the neatest, newest shop in the area.

Tons of space to play games in back. They have all kinds of different tournaments that you can see on their website, or you can just bring cards or boardgames and hang out.

Overall a great game store. Sometimes theres a bearded guy working the counter who I think only works there because of family ownership who is completely rude and acts like customers are interfering with his twenty minute conversations with friends. Other than that small gripe, its a great place. Their prices wont always be the lowest either but I still love the place.

Spacious place to play any game. Pricing is fair and the staff is helpful. Should nature call while youre there I highly recommend the unisex bathroom. Ive never felt so supported dropping some friends off at the pool then when taking care of the dirty business with Thor hanging above the cammode. The large mirror allows a perfect third person view which is not awkward at all until you ponder the finer things in life. Like, what if in another dimension Thor was real and able to use heimdals power to see through any Thor picture in our dimension. His view of the business end of things would surely haunt his waking days. At any rate thats not really one of the Ps were talking about. People, product and price theyre doing something right. 5/7 would recommend

Its a nice gaming store with plenty of room for gamers to play a variety of games. They offer offer all kinds of games from board games to card games like magic the gathering, to rpg Games like d&d and pathfinder. They also hold tournaments for magic the gathering and heroclix.

Eternal games is probably the best hobby store in the metro detrout area. They are always having tournaments and game nights of some kind and the staff (Deb, Mike, And Dan) will treat you like family. If your looking for board games, rpg, minis or whatever and they dont have it they are usually avle to get it fairly quick. By far my favorite hobby store
