Outstanding local ice cream shop! Cannot recommend enough! The woman at the counter was great. She offered flavor recommendations and was very accommodating to my groups special request for smaller scoops (we all wanted to try multiple flavors). We ordered multiple pints, I noticed many other customers did too, which they freshly pack and can hold in the freezer while you finish your ice cream. As far as flavors, my large group tried the Andromeda, Black Squirrel, Blueberry Scone, Buttermilk Pie, Cookie Monster, Jackson 5, Lavender Honey, Peanut Butter Pie, and Wired! Everything was great! Their signature Buttermilk Pie, Black Squirrel, and Cookie Monster really stood out as favorites. All flavors are distinct, any with mix-ins had an appropriate amount. Price is fair. As with most ice shops in the area portions are large (one scoop is closer to two).

Best of the best.. Friendly, excellent service. I love my iced coffee mocha, Carmel and almond... Everyone else got ice cream and loved it.. My daughter lives in the area, we definitely will be back. She also said restaurant is great also. Its a breath of fresh air when you are greeted with a smiling face that actually cares about her job..

The absolute, hands down, best ice cream i have ever had!! Staff and owner are great too! Fast service and very nice people. You have to try this ice cream, any flavor, they are all good! You can tell that they use quality ingredients too, just by the taste and quantity used. I love this place. It is open all year round except for January.

The waffle cones are homemade and the best Ive ever had! They are soft and delicate with a light crunch. I had the White House flavor, one scoop on a waffle cone. It was a very healthy serving of ice cream and there where plenty of cherries. Very nice experience overall, I just wish they had a bottle of hand sanitizer or some water sitting out that I could rinse my sticky hands off in. I couldnt find anything wet, so I just asked for a water and used that. Its a trivial matter, not a big deal at all, overall my favorite ice cream joint around.

This was my first time visiting Cockeye BBQ. Im from Washington DC and was here visiting my brother, who wanted to treat me for dinner. I ordered the two meat dinner with a treat of fried pickles. The fried pickles were delicious. I could not eat all the food I ordered. I had catfish, wings, Jo-joes, coleslaw and hush puppies. I got to taste a little of everything. The portions were huge. The staff was very professional and knowledgeable about recommending food items for me. Im definitely coming back for a visit. Wish i had room for the ice cream.

Best Ice Cream in this area by far. The only complaint I have is that the ice cream could be stored a few degrees colder. I always get it in pints. I would love to try it with a waffle cone but I feel it would be too soft for a cone. Other than that it is on point!!! Peanut Butter Pie and Wired are my top two fav!!

Was told originally they sold custard went there none was being sold at all, to answer the question yes I did call b4 hand on going, was actually verbally told yes on the custard on the phone. The employee did not offer any assistance to my asking bout the custard, and I told the employee I called and I was told yes she still didnt offer any assistance, my husband was there as a witness as well as another customer, the customer also said man custard would be good to agree with us that night we still bought an order and left.

This place is amazing all the way around! We discovered it this summer and have been back twice. The ice cream is absolutely delicious—so fresh and such fun, interesting, unique flavors that we sometimes just like to hit up the website to check out what’s new. We love talking with the owner too—a great guy with a passion for his craft. Although we live over an hour away, we will continue to frequent this gem as well as the BBQ place right next door which is equally wonderful! Life’s too short to eat that processed stuff. Add this to your bucket list—I guarantee your first stop won’t be your last :-)

Hands down the best strawberry ice cream around. The portions seem to be just the right size. They have some neat flavors, chocolate cayenne, honey lavender, guacamole... My husband had the chocolate cayenne and the guacamole and loved them both. A nice little gem of an ice cream place easily passed by if you arent careful.

1000% perfect ice cream stop! Homemade ice cream with a bunch of funky flavors that were ALL perfect (I might have tried them all😉). Race to this place if youre in the area, and if not - you just found a reason to go there! Enjoy!

Ice cream is delicious, but the price is rather high. 4 pints was $20. That is $20 for 1/2 gallon of ice cream, or $ 40 a gallon.

Just the best home made ice-cream. Well worth the ride through the country side to get there and the take home some BBQ from their restaurant next door.

Cockeye Creamery is pretty awesome!I typically have a chocolate shake when I visit, but sometimes Ill go with straight up ice cream!My top three favorite ice cream flavors (as of July 2020) are:#1 Volcano (Please bring it back sometime, Max!)#2 Cheerwine (I have had this elsewhere, but Maxs Cheerwine Ice cream is amazing!!!)#3 Peanut butter Pie (I think this is a standard flavor, and is very good!)(If you are going with straight up ice cream, try their homemade waffle cones!)If you are in Warren (or surrounding area) and want ice cream, head over to Cockeye Creamery, you wont be disappointed!BTW, the manager, Max, is very friendly and easy to talk to. Cockeye Creamery makes the best ice cream around...hands down! They make their ice cream from scratch and it is fantastic! They have the classic staples like French Vanilla and Deep Chocolate and have custom flavors of the month! My personal favorite is blackberry chocolate chunk with whole blackberries and nice chunks of chocolate! Great in a shake, waffle shell or a single scoop!

I think I found my new favorite ice cream! Loved the Guac flavor and Honey Lavender. Such an awesome flavor selection. I may or may not have left with two pints...

Max has a good thing going here. He was friendly and seems like a genuine person chasing some serious ice cream goals. The buttermilk pie ice cream is fantastic. It tastes just like how he said he makes it, a fresh homemade buttermilk pie dropped right into a creamy ice cream.

Feels like an ice cream joint that stepped out of Instagram and the flavors are just as flawless as the presentation. Love what theyve done with their little piece of Warren.

Wow..we were really disappointed when we stopped here today. Everyone hypes this place up we were excited about going. When we got there, to us, not much to pick from. We got pistachio which had ice particles in it, peach cobbler, which was delicious and superman that they put in a dish because it was melty and it was soup in like a couple of minutes. We asked for cake cones and got sugar cones...we were in a hurry so we took them..blechh mistake..they tasted like rolled up cardboard! First time...last time...
