We hired Federal Hill Home Theaters to finish installing a surround sound system in our living room. The previous owners of the home had a system installed, so the speakers were already in the wall and there were a mess of wires everywhere. We are not people who know much about sound systems, and Matthew and Rachel did an excellent job walking us through every step of the way! They made sure we understood all our options at varying price points and in no way pressured us to spend more than we needed to... which is nice when you have no idea what you are doing! They were both professional, knowledgeable, patient with all our questions, and very clean! They were so respectful of our house and not only cleaned up after the installation but also did a great job managing all our wires from various gaming systems, so our entertainment center looks much neater. They took so much time to teach us how to use everything and were helpful even after installation and final payment when we had a few more questions. I would highly recommend the Federal Hill Home Theaters team!

Had a great experience today visiting the demo room and speaking with Matthew. As a first timer looking for the best option for me I did not feel rushed (I was there for almost 2 hrs) nor pushed to a certain product while I pondered and asked many questions. Something I certainly didnt feel from the big box retailers.He gave me what i felt was genuine non sales opinions and answers. First impressions do go a long way and i was certainly impressed with the interaction and experience overall. Seems like i found my home audio installers.

Excellent service on installing a large flat screen TV. The staff are friendly and very professional and accommodating - and very knowledgeable about what they do without trying to up-sell anything. This was the 2nd install they have done for me and the workmanship and care they take are very good. Highly recommend them for home theater needs.

Great experience! They asked a lot of good questions and put together a system that was exactly what I was looking for both in quality, performance and budget. They were responsive, comprehensive and professional. They followed up twice to make sure everything was right. Highly recommended.As an update, more than a year later, one of the components in my system failed. After troubleshooting with the manufacturer, they agreed to replace the unit. However, I needed the original invoice/proof of purchase, which I did not have. I called Federal and they found the original invoice, scanned it and e-mailed it to me immediately! Really nice to know that, in addition to a great original service, they stand by their customers with great aftermarket support.

Dont go anywhere else. Matt and FHHT know their stuff and do their homework. They hung 2 TVs for me over gas fireplaces, with one on an expensive stone wall. They consulted with a mason in advance of the job to ensure that everything went smooth. They were professional, friendly, and kept constant communication in advance of the job. Pricing was very fair as well. Extremely happy with their work and will definitely use them again.

I contacted federal hill home theater over the weekend because I was moving and needed my tv mounted, they responded right away and came out on Tuesday and within an hour my tv was mounted to my wall! It looks great and they did an awesome job! Would highly recommend using them

Matthew and his team came in to mount a TV and soundbar over my fireplace. The project ended up being more complex than we had originally thought once we discovered multiple horizontal beams in my walls but that didnt stop him and his team from getting the job accomplished. From the initial consult to the final installation, it was a pleasure working with Matthew. He went above and beyond to deliver - one example is when Denon had issues getting my soundbar in a timely manner. Because he knew that my installation date was tough for me to move, he went an 1.5 hours out of the way to pick up my soundbar from a different distributor. It was really appreciated and the soundbar he recommended sounds awesome in my high-ceiling living room. If you want an expert for all of your home audio and video needs, I highly recommend you give Matthew a call!

Matthew, Chris and the office staff at Federal Hill Home Theaters were awesome. We bought a very unique house with an older brick fireplace and floor construction that was one of a kind. The crew from FHHT was extremely professional, communicated along every step of the process and followed up regularly to ensure my wife and I were pleased with the project. With the dozen+ contractors we worked with to perform a makeover of our new (but old) home, I could not have been more thrilled with FHHT. The TV mount they did for our main living area looks superb and their equipment suggestions were exactly what we needed to have installed.

Matthew and Chris were fantastic. They were prompt in responses to me, came out to do a free estimate, and were able to complete the project quickly. We needed to get a TV mounted and wired on the opposite side of the living room from where the cables were located, and I had no idea what was actually needed. These guys were awesome - walked me through a few different options and explained everything that could be done. They ran 2 HDMI cables through the ceiling to hook up to a TV on the other side of the living room. Before the install, I was concerned about the damage to our ceiling and walls. However, they were incredible - they left only a few small holes to patch up, did a very clean job, and everything runs perfectly.Great service - they texted and called to confirm arrival times, give updates, etc. Will definitely be using them again for any future work.

I had federal Hill home theaters install a nest camera and next thermostat . The service was amazing they went above and beyond . Love the nest products . I also had them come back and hang a tv . They did a amazing job. I recommend FHHT to every one !!

The comfort and one on one attention was not even close dealing with the Big Box Stores compared to Federal Hill Theaters.The initial call I placed to Federal Hill Theaters, the owner Matthew answered. I knew this because he identified himself that way, which I thought was great. I told him what my needs were and he LISTENED.Matthew was more than knowledgeable, and asked the utmost crucial questions towards me, as to how big the room was, what I wanted for audio and video, what my budget was and how much time I was going to spend in this room, etc... After hearing the way he asked the questions and the professionalism he displayed, I was determined to give him a chance other than the Big Box Stores.What I appreciated most, the initial time we spoke, he took all the pertinent information from me that needed to be gathered, and asked if he may call me back because he was feeding his new born and wanted to give me the perfect options for what my budget was.I said Absolutely.Then it began.Matt did call me back, quicker than anticipated, and discussed my needs for a professional theater system that would be a fit for me.Every question and answer was elaborated in great depth as he made excellent suggestions as well as rejections to what I was thinking of in the first placeBoy did he open up my eyes!I sent him videos and pictures of what I thought would be ideal placements in my home of a theater system and what I wanted to purchase.He made several suggestions that made more sense than I was thinking in the first place and actually made me more educated in this field.Again, we talked about budget, and he rattled off the top of his head what would be the best fit, considering my room size and my needs.He suggested a Definitive ProCinema 600 Series 5.1 channel, accompanied with a Denon x1200.After I purchased this and he set everything up, all I have to say is thank you.
