A long time ago they made some shims for my engine. Delicate work. .035 shims for my shaft rockers. I have bought other things from them as well. Quality and knowledgeable people. The owner is one of two people who kept on telling me I had the wrong size pulleys which was causing my overheating issues. Just like that. He knew my problem and the solution. Years of experience being a mopar addict is what sets them apart.

Bought a 318/360 intake repair kit from Hughes Engines a little over a year ago and installed it about a month back on my truck. Great kit, great instructions, and fit perfectly. Ive included a terrible picture of the kit, everything was labeled well and fit great.A few days ago the included gaskets that came with the kit started to leak on the engine making a pretty good vacuum leak.Now, Im not giving them 5 stars for the kit, while it does deserve a good review, Im reviewing the customer service. I sent an email to Hughes Engines with their provided email on the bottom of the website asking about warranty info on the kit and got an amazing response. They sent me another set of gaskets without question to help me out. Amazing service. I have heard some horror stories about Hughes, but so far Ive had nothing but a great success with them. Thank you Tim for the quick customer service. Looking forward to recommending my other Mopar bodies to you guys and getting more parts myself.

Ordered this 14 days ago not once did they wright and say hey your gaskets are on back order can we replace it with this kit. Poor service would never use this company again been waitjng for nothing.

Tim has helped me on several engine builds and they all performed better then expected.

I purchased about $4k in products from them back in 2018 to rebuild my 5.9 Magnum swap. At first, they seemed helpful, but once the build process started, I kept getting incorrect information from them on how to adjust the valve train, i.e. roller rockers. They insisted I use a specific pushrod which was so long I could even get the polylocks to grab the threads on the rocker arm stubs for seating. After consulting my brother, who is a machinist and a hell of an engine builder, we both finally convinced Hughes to send me the factory length, oil-through pushrods which were perfect. Additionally, they sent me the wrong camshaft, which delayed my build and had to wait for the new one to arrive. Hughes also told me to make 1.5 to 2 (YES, TWO) full turns from 0 lash on the polylocks. I really hope I havent bent a valve stem because I cannot get that brand new motor to run smooth for the life of me.

Great product! Bought a plenum gasket repair kit that comes with an aluminum replacement bottom half of the intake manifold to replace the bad steel one from factory. Everything installed perfectly, instructions were clear, and my old ram is running great. Drove 2 hours for the kit and well worth it.

Worked with Hughes in 2009 to build my 505” rb Chrysler. I’ve been an industrial machinist for many years and scrutinized the work very carefully. I can honestly say the work was top notch and the package far exceeded my expectations of how much power it made. My engine has seen many thousand fairly hard street miles. More than 8 years later, I still have no complaints.

Have purchased parts from them two times. Both times had major parts failures, once with a camshaft and now valve springs causing total rebuild of both engines. Hughes apparently has a major parts quality issue.

Back in 2003 I made faithful payments on time using my debit card for a 496 stroker motor for my 67 Belvedere and when it came close to paying it off, the owner contacts me and says we cant do this anymore because of no time and was a hassle so i requested my momey back since ZERO product was delivered and they refused to return almost 3500.00 of my hard earned money they stole!I was never late and was up front and honest with them. DO NOT do business with these criminals. It angers me today that they stole my money. Hopefully they rot from within and disappear for good! You reap what you sow! They should be prosecuted for fraud!

Seems to think we are all idiots, his product could never have a flaw and refuses to ever accept a share of responsibility.The bolts I received with my item snapped prior to 12 ft lbs of torque, broke in the head, going to cost about as much to fix it as it did to buy the part. I was going to consider a cam and valve train, now, I will probably sell my mopar and move on to something they dont make parts for.Companies like this are the reason America has fallen to what it is, no respect, honor or integrity.
