Worse policies ever on book returns!

It’s not the easiest place to find. Once you get there though, you can buy anything GW that you could want. Be sure to check out the clearance racks because there are often some really nice shirts for pretty cheap prices. The staff is always friendly and willing to help out in anyway they can.

Typical college book store.

I never buy apple products from them. There is no return after you open the package. However, apple store offers more convenient return policies.One another occasion, I had my laptop battery changed with them. I Got the first call that my laptop battery is fixed. I was so excited but when I used it, the battery did not last more than an hour and half. Like it was not changed at all. I returned my laptop to fix the issue. Two weeks passed. I received no call or a single email. I called them to follow up. The Apple sales associate told me it was already ready to pick up and he was wondering why no one had reached me out. The new battery lasts four hours that costed $130 for me. So unreliable and inconvenient.

Good selection of GW swag. Location in strange. In the basement. Would be nice for tuition paying parents to get a discount!

For text books, this is not the place to go. They are more expensive than on for example Amazon, and for my courses this semester they either did not have the books at all or they were out of stock. Also, check-out is really slow, I waited almost 20 minutes today while there were only 2 people in front of me. The apparel they have is pretty cool though and mostly reasonably priced.

Bookstore didnt bother to tell anyone that textbooks will now only be available online. Left work early and ran across town to get my books and was given this information. No email, no announcement on the website. They also close early and the hours are incredibly inconvenient. Pretty saddened by the quality of this store.

Always love the choice of merchandise. Havent been here in a few years but it is always fun to browse around and pick up some fine gw merchandise. When i was a student here I couldnt afford anything except for some items in the sale rack. But now I go there every few years and buy hats, t shirts and some trinkets for kids.

Not really a huge fan. Buy your textbooks online. You can get them for much cheaper. Just make sure you plan in advance. The bookstore does however have good apparel, and some of it is surprisingly well priced.

It took a week to receive much needed books for class because the only option is to order online to pickup in store. In other words, it would be faster to order from Amazon if you have a prime membership.

Everyone greeted me with a smile. Assisted me with my graduate purchases. I always enjoy visiting the store

Good Items to buy ... but slow service

Fair selection of GW gear. Typically overpriced licensed merchandise (as with all campus shops). Sometimes can find bargains, but expect to pay a lot for supporting the school.

Good selection; always throw me off when they reorganize

Never order your books through the bookstore. It is slower than advertised and very unreliable. One of my books said it was ready for pick-up, but then they were unable to find it when I went in four separate times over the course of three weeks. On my fourth visit, the manager I spoke to just told me Go get your refund and order them somewhere else, theyre never coming in. I would not mind if I had been told earlier, but we are now starting the third week of classes and I am just now being told that I need to re-order them. This means Ill be 3-4 weeks late getting my books, just because the bookstore lost/cant find my books and decided not to share that until my fourth trip there. Save yourself the time and hassle and just order through Amazon or buy them from another student.

Do not buy books here was quoted a 2-3 day delivery process as apparently they no longer keep books in their stock. After 4 days inquired as to the delay was then told 10 days. Buy textbooks off amazon or other services.

Hard to find, but lots of GWU wear. It is deep in the sub basement of Marvin Center, but once you get down there, youll find tons of GWU clothing and other merch. Not a ton of staff most days, and dont go on Sunday - closed!

GW Campus Store was extremely good place to buy souvenirs, notebook and clothes. But I would like to mention that the clothes attached to GW’s logo was too expensive to buy a lot.

Management at this store are some of the coldest, most heartless people I have ever met. Bought a book for $250 and due to a changed circumstance, needed to return the book. Management refused, citing a policy that I was never warned about nor was listed on any receipt or signage. When I attempted to compromise with the manager, I was immediately shut down and am now out this money. As an unemployed student, this is not an insignificant amount of money, but I was most offended by the callous demeanor of the management, particularly the Store Director, Patrick. Best yet, it seems that he does not have any authority to answer to, so he gets away with treating students this way with no recourse to him.Buy your book literally anywhere else. In this day and age, there are so many places only that you can buy books for a fraction of the cost AND significantly better customer service with managers who will treat you as people, not bank accounts.

Its a college bookstore. Lots of GWU swag.

The on sale items werent a bad deal, but the full price items were very pricey. Wide selection of clothes, gear, school supplies, and books. The line is very long at all hours for the first week or two of the semester.

Despite receiving notices from professors months in advance about what books their students will need, the bookstore does not have enough textbooks in stock. The online ordering system is poorly thought out and inefficient.

I received conflicting advice on how to return a book for store credit without a receipt. The employee exhibited very unprofessional behavior and poor judgment. They didnt have our books in stock for the first day of class. Poor communication, gave me the wrong edition of a book.

Overpriced and they will not allow you to use gworld there, moreover the bookstore is always late and often screws up your order
